secretary is the funniest character in the whole game idc

kinda random thought, but people don’t give mepad enough credit. he’s a smart guy, and while at least initially he was not very emotionally intelligent, his time on ii and being around the contestants has allowed him to learn things on this front

he stands up for toilet because he can see how much mephone’s dejections hurt him. and despite his code of honesty, he lied to mephone about the whereabouts of marshmallow, because he knew that leaving the show is something that marshmallow needed

and now he’s applying these lessons to taco. he recognizes that something is wrong with her, that she needs help but can’t bring herself to seek it, and he wants to be there to help her

he wasn’t getting manipulated there. all throughout the second half of the song we see him refuting the horrible things taco wants him to believe about herself (and she’s not garnering for sympathy points, she earnestly believes the things she says about herself there are true, and that he should despise her as much as she despises herself, but that’s for another post)

he genuinely held all of the power in that situation; he said it himself (well, implied, but still) that taco never actually disabled his ability to teleport on his own, that he could have just ditched her if he so desired. but he didn’t, because he can see that she’s troubled, and he wants to help in whatever way he can

give the guy some credit, won’t ya. he ain’t stupid

okay so eventually toilet learns how to make instant ramen. he remembers the seasoning packet, it's all cooked, and he doesn't burn himself. so he gets a little adventurous and decides to add soy sauce. he tastes it and immediately cries. he added hand soap.

But i think people's need to make their cobs be more of a pathetic loser that he is, Someone that truly got kicked out from his parents basement and never spoke to them anymore. Just a selfish bitch who wanted nothing more than power. Don't get me wrong,i love it when fanfics depicts this guy as the big bad scary villain. But also. man.

This guy really didn't gave out the threatening villain style at all. You may say that he's just acting nice and all dumb like that but are actually just an evil sadistic creature. But to me, he's just a super petty old man that probably would say 'no one wanted to work anymore these days!!' While paying his worker 1 dollar every month

His core character to me was just a CCO who has grown so large that his humanity has completely wiped out, now only caring about the company while his only priority is to be the new viral things, take control of his customer, and take those sweet bags of money. Not to actually make an effort..

It didn't made him any less of a bad person ofc. In fact,it made him kindaa. More evil..?? humans?(realism? Idk how to word it mannn. The point is)

He sees all of the mephones more as an exciting brand new products to the customer and are also pretty straight forward about it to them. Giving them a false hope and pride of them being the product of a popular brand that are better,more superior and be the lasts kind of me phone that cobs needs to produce. Making them the guilable things that cobs need them for

Also,is it just me or cobs on s2e8 way of talking about me phones felt like he massproducting the mephones,like. The real robots maybe as a protective bodyguard but also made them easily get broken just so the customer could buy more of em?
