i will take my big emotions in hand at 2:30 AM and say this: Lando has had the best season of his career, and he has done so while staying true to himself, while being genuine and honest and dedicated and more hard working than ever before. he’s had his beliefs tested over and over and over again this year, and i’m so insanely proud of him for sticking with it and continuing to believe in himself and in the team even when it feels like everyone, even his fans, doubted those beliefs at points this year.

a year of growth, a year of learning, a year of faith, and a year of successes he’s never experienced before. 2024, despite everything, has been so incredibly special and i hope he carries that with him for the rest of his life 🧡

i think people understimate how online the drivers, and max are. and he is protective about his friends/loved ones and to see people send hate to a friend of his On His Behalf is probably super fucking weird. because if he knows where he stands with lando, then what are you defending him from?? but will this lead to a moment of self reflection from said fans... of course not
