Vertical comics based on Omniscient reader's viewpoint. Young Kim Dokja is smiling brightly, He is hugged by Lee Sookyung. Her eyes are covered by shadow, adding an ominous feel to her smile. She's reaching downwards over a birthday cake with a little heart. Two red stars are placed where their hearts would be, these stars are connected to each other, and the thin thread flows downwards as well, transforming into thincker line of something red.
A bit older Kim Dokja is at the table in a black suit that doesn't seem to fit him. He is mortified. Before him is an old looking plate with a human heart on it. Lee Sookyung's hand is reaching from above, attempting to cover one of Kim Dokja's eyes. The thread from the previos page continues, it connects another star in place of a heart with red splatters on the himan heart on the plate. It flows downwards again.
Kim Dokja at the time of the novel events, sitting at the table again. He is annoyed and tense. Behind him is Persephone looking like Yoo Sangah, she's smilling and leading his hand with a fork. Before them are multiple plates of story meat. The heart star is still connected with the bloodied meat, but there are specks of white in it. Persephone is reaching downwards, grasping at the table cloth.
The cloth is being lifted, uncovering Kim Dokja, who's looking bewildered. The star is covering one of his eyes, the same one that was almost covered by Lee Sookyung. It is still mostly red, but more and more white is appearing.
Kim Dokja is now sitting on the table, shocked and confused. Behind him is his star, white specks fillinf it like an hourglass. Before him are his companions. Yoo Jonghyunk is grabbing Han Sooyoung's collar, angry, yet she is smirking.
Further at the table Jung Heewon is cheering for either Yoo Jonghyuk or Han Sooyoung, and Yoo Sangah is holding her by the shoulder. Lee Gilyoung is talking excitedly at Shin Yoosung and Lee Jihye, with Lee Hyunsung looking worried.
Kim Dokja is laughing with tears in his eyes, behind him a fully white star. There are two hands on his shoulders, one smaller one and one bigger one. Bothe Yoo Jonghyuk and Han Sooyoung are grabbing him by the lapels of his coat. Yoo Sangah is holding out a tray with a phone on it. Phone's screen is red, but a big white star is covering it.
The rest of the table zoomed in, with Jung Heewon's hand supporting Yoo Sangah's tray and visible tops of Lee Hyunsung and Lee Jihye's head, Lee Jihue laughing and Lee Hyunsung seems to be smiling from the look in his visible eye.
