thanks for answering it helped a lot :) yeah we've talked about my anxieties and he feels awful and tries to help as much as he can. he says she wont care if she finds out and i thought i didn't but its starting to get to me that im seen as a homewrecker. he likes pda and so do i but now that we are serious its dawned on me more that i am the other girl. yes i know i know i chose this for myself. i just love him and i know he loves me. this is just a sticky situation. ill probably eventually have to leave him but for now im going to hold him close. im not perfect ://

A couple more things to consider:

1. You have a HUGE age gap. That age gap of about how long I have been alive. I have no doubt he loves you, but that large of an age gap can present compatibility issues later. Plus what about having kids? He’s already practically at grandparent age. He could very well be retired by the time your kids graduate high school (if you want kids). Not judging, not trying to push you one way or another…just saying something to keep in mind.

2. If he’s like me, he’s spent the past years being neglected and unappreciated by his wife. By giving him love you’re helping to heal him. I’m not saying this is the case but to prepare in case it is - you might be the “rebound “. The one who put the pieces of him back together after his wife has been taking him apart piece by piece…but that doesn’t mean you’re going to be the best long term relationship for him.

I know some women on here love to be seen as a homewrecker. If you don’t then you don’t and it’s perfectly understandable. I applaud you for sticking to your principles.

No one is perfect. We’re all figuring out our own way through life. Some have easier paths than others. All we can do is try, pick ourselves up if we make a wrong choice, and try to give some grace to others when they make a mistake.
