Fashion style: So I mostly wear like shabby chic and I feel like I’m always dressed up. 😭 I don’t really like to dress down because I always feel more confident knowing I have a cute outfit on! I always have my hair done too, this girl always needs her hair styled 🤭!

Personality: I’m very outgoing and loud..? I love to make people feel like they’ve known me for years even if I just met them 2 secs ago. I’m not the quiet or shy type I’m mostly the person who’ll start conversations or be the first one talking in a group project 🙄 (I’m the one who does all the work). I’m also very confrontational and I don’t let anyone walk on me. Like excuse me? I also speak what’s on my mind and don’t have a filter..which can be a blessing and a curse 😬.

Appearance: I have blonde hair (that I get done 😋). I have dark blue eyes that have a little gold near the middle also a bit of green. I have heavy eyelids that make me look all sleepy, they’re called bedroom eyes, but my mom called them Marilyn Monroe eyes 😭. I have that short and curvy body type and I learned to love my body! I also have chubby cheeks and when I eat my friends call me chipmunk 🙄.

Lifestyle: So I’m pretty busy during the week and get no time off! I do competitive dancing so I’m always at the dance studio practicing! I’m also doing kickline so I stay a few hours after school then go straight to dance 🥲! But when I finally have a day off I’m either drawing, reading, doing homework or going outside! You’ll always find me dancing or drawing! (I wanna get into art school 😭)

Appearance: I have blond hair (that I get done). I always have my hair done whether it be straightening it but I mostly curl it. I have blue eyes and I usually wear winged eyeliner! My cheeks are always red/pink because of rosacea 😒. Anyway! I’m pretty short and I have a more curvey side body type. I’m always dressed up, but it would be just a cute top and jeans. You had your eyes on Johnny Cade for a while. You’d watch him walk by in the crowded school hall ways. Your heart would flutter every time your eyes would meet in a quick glance that you thought lasted too long to be just a quick stare. You call yourself delusional but deep down you think Johnny might have the same feelings as you do.

You’re sat at your desk in your room trying to get through algebra homework. The frustration is getting to you because you can’t seem to concentrate on anything! Your manicured nails drum against your desk as you tap your pencil on your homework. Of course you waited last minute to do your homework because you were too busy thinking of…

Your eyebrows furrowed and you leaned back on your desk chair. The sound was coming from the outside of your bedroom window. You quickly grabbed your pencil, just in case it’s some random old creep. You scurried over to your window before opening it up quickly and holding your pencil like it’s a knife.

“Hello?”

You were met with a confused and frightened smile.

“Uh- hi..what’re you doin’ with that pencil?”

You felt heat rise to your face with embarrassment. What were you thinking?

“Oh! This? Just homework. Come in, you’re probably freezing!”

You moved out of the way so Johnny could come in through your window. Your heart fluttered as you met his chocolate eyes…

“Sorry for comin’. My parents were fighting again..I just couldn’t take-”

You smiled softly and shook your head before sitting on the edge of your bed.

“It’s alright Johnny. You’re welcome here anytime.”

You sure meant it. You wish Johnny could stay here all the time. He smiled to himself before looking around your room before sitting down next to you on your bed. You looked over at him as he sat next to you. Your eyes roamed over his face then to the scar that formed from his forehead to his cheek. You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion and you’re pretty sure Johnny noticed your confused expression.

“Some Socs..”

You nodded your head slightly in understanding.

“They did that to you.?”

He nodded his head before glancing away from you.

“Some Soc with rings..him and his buddies just came and…”

You bit the inside of your cheek as you realized he was getting upset. You moved your hand to rest ontop of his.

“It’s alright, Johnny. I think you look like the toughest guy around town.”

His eyes met yours once again. You smiled softly and he did the same.

“Yea?”

“Definitely.”

He grinned and you could feel his eyes roam over your face. Before you knew it his soft lips were on yours. You swear you could’ve heard church bells ringing.

You, Bri and Jess walked down the cracked pavements of Tulsa. You weren’t paying attention to what they were saying at all your mind was somewhere else - or on someone else. Your heart fluttered as you thought about his eyes..his scars..his lips-

“Hey!”

You were met with Bri’s fingers snapping in your face.

“Did you hear what I said or are you too busy thinking about Johnboy?”

Jess snickered and shook her head.

“No Bri. That’s the other one. She’s thinking about Johnnycakeeee.”

You rolled your eyes trying to suppress a smile.

“No…not my type at all. He’s dirty…greasey…”

Bri grinned and Jess shook her head. They know you like him but you’ll never admit it to them.

“Just how I like em!”

Bri howled and Jess shoved her into you. You laughed and glanced ahead and you were met with two greasers heading down the street. Dallas Winston and Johnny Cade..

Dallas saw you guys and sauntered over with a grin, Johnny followed behind. But he grinned softly when he saw you. Dallas started talking up Bri and you could tell she loved every second of it. Jess just kept quiet eyeing up Dallas.

You met Johnny’s gaze and smiled.

“Hey.”

“Hi Johnnycake.”

He nodded his head and grinned.

“Dal told me there was a party tonight. It’s gonna be pretty tuff, wanna come?”

You could feel your pulse rush and you nodded your head. You couldn’t stop the stupid smile you had on your face.

“Mhm! Of course, can’t miss out on a party.”

He laughed and nodded his head.

“Right. Well I’ll see you there.”

With that he walked away following Dallas. You watched as he walked away and you just want to fly. But then you were met with Bri and Jess crossing their arms and giving you a “we knew it” expression.

“So…who’s going to a party that you magically got invited to by Johnboy?”

Jess and you groaned.

“It’s Johnny!”

You both say in unison.

“It’s just a party, ain’t nothing special. Plus I bet you’re going with Dallas Texas, huh?”

Bri smiled to herself as you purposefully confused Dallas’s name.

“Whatever. But we should give you a makeover.”

You smiled and glanced between Jess and Bri. Tonight could be the night. No. Tonight will be the night you and Johnny will be going steady.

You were sat at Jess’s vanity with your hair in rollers. Bri was laying down on the floor skimming through a magazine. Jess was looking through her closet for what you should wear.

“You know, Johnathan better say something tonight. I swear to god he has feelings for you but he’s too big of a baby to say anything!”

You agree with Bri but you haven’t told both of them that Johnny sneaks through your window almost every night, that he tells you everything he wants or hopes for. You never told them that you both lay down in the same bed and share stolen kisses. You haven’t told them that you’re in love with Johnny.

“Oh let it be Bri. John is a nice guy..the most of your worries should be Dallas.”

Bri shook her head before sipping on her coke.

“He’s just mistaken.”

You and Jess just laugh at Bri.

“Sure..mistaken. I guess that’s what you get called after jumping people six years younger than you.”

Bri laughed at your comment and Jess pulled out a black dress. Your eyes lit up as you looked at it.

“That’s so pretty!”

“Oh my god. She has to put that on right now!”

Which you of course did. The black shift dress fit you perfectly. Bri said Johnny would definitely have his attention all on you tonight and you just hope she’s right.

The party’s loud and full of greasers. It’s some barn party where they are usually located. These type of parties are thrown by a couple greasers and word gets out and you’ll get about a thousand people in a smelly old barn. Usually the cops will show up because of underage drinking, drug use, just all the things greasers do.

The drinks were flowing and you stayed with your girls the whole time. You kept glancing around the party trying to find your greaser but you haven’t seen him yet. You guessed Bri and Jess noticed how your head would keep looking around the whole time.

“Hey! Just keep drinking you’ll feel better!”

Bri yelled over the music and you rolled your eyes.

“No! I’m not gonna do that when this whole room is practically filled with men!”

Jess nodded her head but Bri scoffed and passed you a red solo cup.

“Drink up bitch!!!”

Bri howled but her smile dropped when she saw Dallas in the corner of the room with some blond broad.

“That scumbag!”

Bri passed Jess her drink before hurrying over to Dallas. Bri is drunk and she most definitely has the guts to fight but she just can’t. Especially when it’s Dallas.

“You should go get some air. I’ll go keep an eye on Bri.”

Jess smiled reassuringly and you smiled back. You walked outside and felt the cool night breeze. You leaned up against the barn, your head spinning from the loud music and the heavy smell of alcohol.

“There you are.”

Your head perked up and there he was in all his glory. Johnny.

“I thought you didn’t show, got worried.”

You smiled and shook your head.

“Of course I showed. I thought you didn’t.”

“Nah, I just needed some air. Dal went to go talk to Sylvia for a bit and I thought it was best to leave the scene.”

You laughed in agreement.

“Yea, I needed to get away from the party too. Bri’s drunk and ready to fight.”

He laughed and leaned against the wall next to you. You looked up at the night stars and you felt like this should be the time for him to say something. He has to!

“Johnny, do you ever think about us? Like going steady?”

You didn’t even comprehend that you had said something to him. Great. He looked at you and slowly started nodding his head.

“Of course..I mean- as soon as I saw you walk in with that gorgeous smile I knew we had to go steady.”

You raised your eyebrows. Is he trying to be chivalrous? You smiled to yourself and tilted your head.

“Did you learn that from Sodapop?”

“He said it’d work.”

“It sure did.”

He smiled and grabbed your hand.

“Come on, let’s go back. I gotta show everyone I’ve gotten the prettiest girl in Tulsa.”

Your heart fluttered and you both walked back into the party hand in hand. You were met with the sound of loud music, the smell of tobacco but the smiling faces of Jess and Bri. Dallas had his arm over Bri’s shoulders and he grinned at Johnny.

“I knew it! Dallas I told you!”

Bri squealed and Dallas shook his head. You laughed and glanced over at Johnny but he was already looking at you.

“Jess call all the people we know. We’re gonna have us a greaser wedding!”

That’s just how a simple ol’ greaser barn party became one of the most memorable places to you and Johnny.

You and Sodapop Curtis have been friends for a long while. Too long. Your stomach turns every time you see him smile at another girl that flirts with him at the DX. Every single time. There’s always that usual group of girls that are preppy Soc wannabes. They want his attention. They want him. You can’t help the fact you want him too.

“You know what’s weird?”

You leaned back against the gas pump as Soda worked on an old car. He was under it and you couldn’t help but admire the way his hands worked on the car.

“Lots of things are weird. Like this car has the right gas but-”

You cut him off not caring about the junky car.

“Yeah, yeah. But we’ve been friends for so long and we have no pictures together.”

He was quiet for a few seconds as he worked on the car. You shifted on your feet as you looked over at him. You thought you were being subtle but you just really want a picture of the gorgeous man you’re luckily friends with.

“Yeah..I guess you’re right. I only got one picture of me and Steve. I wish I got a camera-”

“I got a camera! Hold on I left it inside, let me get it real quick.”

You couldn’t help the butterflies that were fluttering in your stomach. You got to take a picture with your handsome best friend.

You quickly grabbed the camera that you got for your birthday last year before subtly fixing your hair before walking back outside. When you got outside Soda was out from under the car and was wiping the grease off his hands with a rag. You smiled at him and he returned it.

“Here. Now we can finally get a picture together and I’ll get one with Steve and you.”

He grinned and nodded his head.

“Great. How do I look? Do I look like the finest guy in Tulsa?”

Your heart stammered and you smiled. You were gonna agree but you decided to swat his arm anyway and just laugh.

“You’re so conceited it’s sickening.”

You fixed the camera before holding it up. Soda stood next to you and he put his arm around your waist for the picture. You felt your face heat up and the camera clicked, a white flash occurring. After a few seconds you put the camera down and you took the printed photo out of the camera. You smiled to yourself as you looked at the photo. You couldn’t wait to flaunt this picture to all your friends. You took a picture with the Sodapop Curtis.

Your friends were over for whatever reason. You mostly wanted them over to flaunt the gorgeous picture you had hung up on your desk with all the other pictures you had with your friends.

“So…are you guys like going steady or something?”

You jumped at that last question by one of your friends.

“What? No. Nuh uh. We’re just friends.”

Your friend’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

“So he put his hand on your wait for a picture just for you guys to be friends? Sure..”

You bit the inside of your cheek as you let your friends word sink into your head. Soon everyone else there started to agree to what she said and you couldn’t help but think about Sodas feelings.

You held the photo in your hand as your eyes looked at Sodas gleaming face. He has grease on his face and hands but he’s still cute. He has a smile that can bright up the whole sky. You just wish you were more than friends.

You were sat in the diner booth with Steve, Evie and of course Soda. Soda had invited you to tag along since he “didn’t want to be alone.” You were glad to tag along since you liked Evie and Soda. You got to be by his side the whole time and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

Soda and Steve sat across from you and Evie in the booth so you both could get a good look at the boys. You smiled as Soda talked about cars or drag races which you had no interest in. But what you liked was how his eyes would light up when he talked about his interests or how his smile would grow when he knew you were watching him.

“Steve, remember when Two-bit chugged so much beer it came out of his nose?”

Sodapop chuckled and you raised your eyebrows, so did Evie. Steve rolled his eyes and slapped Soda on the back of his head

“That was me doofus!”

You and Evie snickered. You loved watching Soda and Steve interact it was funny seeing two best friends having a great connection.

“Guys, please don’t fight I want to enjoy my burger.”

Evie shook her head as she spoke and you giggled.

“Oh, yeah? You want to take this outside, buddy?”

“Maybe I do.”

Steve and Soda started ruffling each other’s hair but they started to die down when extra fries came to the table. You sipped on your Coke and glanced around the diner then back at the table. You laughed when Soda grabbed the tomato off your burger and you rolled your eyes.

“What?”

“Did you just take my tomato?”

He shrugged before grinning.

“I know you don’t like em’ so I took it.”

You nodded your head before closing your burger.

“Thanks.”

“Anytime, sugar.”

He winked at you and you felt like your stomach was filled with butterflies.

When everyone was done eating it was time to head out since it was already getting dark. Steve and Evie walked together and you and Soda were left alone.

You both walked side by side on the cracked Tulsa pavements. You guys didn’t talk about anything in particular just everything that was on both of your minds.

“So Goofys a dog?”

“No he drives a car, Soda.”

“Didn’t Mickey drive a boat?”

You tilted your head in thought but shook your head.

“That’s steamboat Willy.”

“They’re the same mouse!”

You and Soda started to laugh as you continued to walk to your house. The sky was filled with stars that lit up the whole sky. You glanced over at Soda who was looking up at the stars as you both walked.

“You’re gonna trip, Soda.”

“Nope..looks I can do this backwards.”

He started to walk backwards as his eyes stayed looking up at the sky. You shook your head before you both got closer to your house.

“You know, I never realized how pretty something so far away could be.”

You looked over at him and shrugged your shoulders.

“The stars are pretty.”

His eyes landed on your face as you looked up at the stars. Sure you were talking about stars but he was talking about you.

“You know, if I had a lasso I could capture one of the stars for you.”

You laughed and you both continued walking up towards your drive way.

“I’m serious. Whatever you want I’ll get it for you.”

His words were sincere but how would you tell him that you want him?

You both stood on your front porch with Soda infront of you.

“I had fun tonight.”

“Me too, we need to do that more often. Maybe just us next time.”

You smiled softly and nodded your head.

“Yeah, that’d be nice.”

He grinned widely as he looked at you. His eyes lingered on your face longer than they should be.

“Great. Let’s call it a date!”

Your mouth fell open but you couldn’t speak. He chuckled before stepping off your porch and trying to moon walk down your drive way.

“See you later pretty baby!”
