I (personally) like the remake more than the original. The new version is called trigun stampede, and it actually came out last year. It is completely cgi, but the animation genuinely looks really good. And it's not even just that it's good for a cgi show, like it's honestly some of the best looking animation I've seen period. Although, stampede is more of a retelling rather than a direct remake, the story is very different from the 1998 version. I honestly kinda like the way stampede does it better, but I did watch it before I watched the original so. I also just...didn't like the original very much tbh. But that might just be me.

kinda wanna watch trigun but i know there's two versions, 1998 and a cgi style remake (idk what year but I'm assuming late 2010s), so which should I watch? Or should I watch one and then the other?
