currently reading King Lear by Shakespeare, and i must say i find it so hard to read plays. i know people love them, but they seem so plain to me? they’re nice to listen to though
Artemis - lady of wild things, huntress, protectress of animals, guardian of the young.
❛One is loved, because one is loved. No reason is needed for loving❜ ∼ Fatima, The Alchemist
Remember when Virginia Woolf said “her eyes are pure stars, and her fingers, if they touch you, freeze you to the bone”, and then Oscar Wilde said “I don’t want to be at the mercy of my emotions. I want to use them, to enjoy them, and to dominate them”, the feels in this.
idk why the line “to love another person is to see the face of god” was ever written when the same effect could have been achieved by shooting me in the face
You are just another name I still remember, a song I no longer dare to listen to, a voice I can't forget but I will. You're now a stranger I'd never really wish to know, a road I'll never choose, a bridge I'd always burn, a place I'd never visit. You are just a memory I'd never ever like to cherish. I want myself to get rid of every trace of you. All that you left behind is not my mess to carry, no part of you could be a treasure, it's just trash.
