I think this is my favourite Minecraft skin ever. One of the Beatles members. Like, whoever made this can't even tell them apart, but was still inspired enough to bother making a Minecraft skin and uploading it for anyone to use. No, it's not just any guy in a suit; it's clearly a Beatle. So specific, yet so vague. Love it.

the fuck. just saw something that made me think about how ryunosuke doesn't have anything wrong w his lungs in beast where he still does live in the slums. so you could totally make an argument that says dazai's abuse is what brought on his disease. and I just like. ???

Bsd beast is so good in so many ways, but i think my favorite thing about it is the way it reveals aspects of the characters in the main universe we otherwise wouldn't get to see.

So some things i loved learning from beast in no particular order:

Akutagawa has resting bitch face. Does he want to kill you? Probably. But even when he's not being described from atsushis's perspective, even when he's just talking neutrally, his face looks pissed off and bloodthirsty enough that tanizaki is scared of him.

I always thought that it was dazai that drove kunikida insane (and he does. on purpose.), and that if he was partnered with someone else he'd be a bit less high strung. but in beast we see him partnered with both oda and aku. And guess what? That man is on the end of his tether no matter who his partner is. kunikida is doomed to be exasperated by his coworkers. Someone give this guy some xanax or something.

Aku and atsushi would probably be really close under different circumstances. The way they immediately clicked and were able to bond so quickly was so nice to see. Them opening up to each other and laughing together was muaaah *chef's kiss* (Asagiri make this canon in the main manga and my life is yours)

Even in a timeline where they are both dealt a terrible hand in life, atsushi and kyouka manage to find each other. This is a world where atsushi never saved her from the mafia; this is a world where atsushi never found meaning in saving others, a world where kyouka never found out she could live in the light. And yet. They're together and care for each other. Still.

How important gin is to akutagawa. They don't have many interactions in the main manga, so it was nice to have them as a focus in beast.
