Happy Chinese New Year (it’s the Year of the Snake. Ouroboros is a good snaky)! Have some Valentine’s heartache as well! I ended up tweaking the last chapter just a smidge. Let’s say it took a few days (instead of overnight) for Integra to arrange access to the SR-71 Blackbird. It helps align Alucard and the Reader’s timelines better. It’s been quite some time between drawing up the outline of these chapters and writing them. I forgot some of the details that would have ensured better consistency.

Alucard touched your belongings with what gentleness he had left, a gloved finger tracing the plush material of a robe. He brought it to his face and inhaled, aching for more than the wisp of scent he was rewarded.
Integra had wanted to rebuild his basement after the manor was destroyed, to renovate it so the lower level was suitable for housing a living person when you returned.
Only you were missing. Stolen. There was no point in remaking his home if you weren't going to be there. He forbade the evidence of your time there to be desecrated by the workers seeking to demolish the sacred grounds in order to rebuild, so he chased them out of his sanctuary the few times they tried to begin work until they surrendered to his will.
A low hum vibrated in his throat as his head stayed bowed. Nostalgia turned to worry.
The vampire king felt your stomach folding into knots and your repeated sense of violation, yet here he was, rendered helpless and impotent to defend you. The distant recollection of a labouring man’s weight on his back surfaced, though it was no longer of consequence. It came from another life, the experiences of another version of him who was long dead.
Dracula had known war his entire existence. It was safe to assume the Nazis had defiled you. Rape was part of their conquest and armies did not stop at one male per female. His fangs dug into his lips and drew blood – he despised himself for his failure. There was no question he'd welcome you back into his arms after your multiple violations once he exenterated his enemies, but what if Millennium infected you?
What if you were a ghoul when he found you?
He knew what he would do, recalled what you requested of him. It would destroy him, but he would not let you suffer that fate and indignity because of his blunders. Taloned fists clenched and unclenched uselessly, his mouth curled into a snarl. The crimson tincture of arcane power seeped off his broad shoulders.
He considered other possible outcomes. There was also the potential they chipped and damned you as an artificial vampire. His blood boiled at such foul mistreatment. That was not how he wanted to turn you. His human deserved only a queen’s coronation if you were ever to choose vampirism, under a full moon in his coffin. Could he reverse their inferior methods by removing the chip and infusing his own blood? Would you be entirely beholden under the Major's control? Alucard did not know the answers to these details, but he would cross whatever bridge caring for you required once it came up, after he found you.
Crushed under the strength of his feelings for a mortal, his insides churned with festering dread. How was it that he allowed such a bond (a weakness) to develop? He was complicit and willing in his descent, and now he was wholly enraptured by your existence. The Nosferatu was a prisoner to your needs and he wouldn't have it any other way.
The first vampire was absolutely, fecklessly in love. This affliction should not have been possible for a creature of damnation like himself.

Ch. 26 - A Valuable Lesson (Short chapter)
This is now my headcanon too. I'm dead xD
While I’m throwing random Naruto hcs to the winds:
Uchiha were actually incredibly expressive by their own standards, but a side effect of being a clan of people with Super Detail Vision means that even those without the sharingan or with the sharingan not *on* means that they don’t need to move their faces much to convey a lot. Which was why to outsiders they looked so stiff and stoic for the most part. Because why bother doing large expressions when all your loved ones can see how overjoyed you are with just a tiny smile and the deepening of the laugh lines around your eyes?
This trait also makes them truly scary during police investigations because if you have *any* physical tell that you are lying, they *will* see it and use it to their advantage, with or without their sharingan on. These people are so detail oriented by default it’s insane. They also can have the Book literally memorized and ready to quote chapter and verse at you down to the grammar because their brains have evolved over generations to naturally memorize and rapidly process and catalogue information to compensate for said Super Vision.
This means, by extension, that Uchiha like Obito and Shisui who register to outsiders as the “normally expressive ones” are actually the Uchiha equivalent of Might Gai running down the street screaming loudly about Emotions and Youth.
That or Shisui is not actually that expressive by default (tho we know Obito is) and he just learned how to do that because he realized it made people more willing to talk to him and also it makes his relatives twitch in the Uchiha version of screaming “MY EYES” and he finds that really funny.
I can see his reaction too. His eyes widen in surprise, then he'll smile in that enigmatic way of his. He knows it was a compliment, but he'll tell us that he hates the sun. Luckily we know he secretly thinks it's the most beautiful thing.
I could stare at his eyes forever
C/W: Alucard (Ultimate) x F!Reader, Millennium, Nazis, canon-typical violence WC: 5256
I’m trying to control my bad habit of switching perspectives within a scene, which I used to do liberally when it was between only Alucard and the Reader. It was an easy and quick way to include Alucard’s POV as well. But from here on, the Reader only knows what she knows, so I’ll behave myself…
The Millennium characters are some of the hardest to write since they’re like caricature villains at their best. I don't even like the Millennium cast besides the Captain.
Excerpt under the cut
Your gaze roamed the crowd of warmongers onstage. The Major, a brutal looking woman covered in tattoos holding a scythe, the Doc, the boy with cat ears. Your eyes paused on a behemoth of a man. He was as tall as Alucard. Shaggy white hair peeked out, but his features were otherwise obscured by a cap. You felt his gaze and suppressed a chill.
Horrifying power wasn’t necessarily evil. It was simply horrifying. But these Nazis, they were evil. And there were few things in the world as dangerous as people who believed they were right.
"And why am I here?”
"What a question. I did not expect Alucard to suffer a daft woman. You are here to be a witness to our drill. That is, after you help us invite Alucard to participate.”
All this was...training? The callous truth was worse than the assumption that you were only to be the hostage who lures Alucard to wherever their prepared ‘battlefield’ would be.
The Major liked to monologue. One of those self-important men who talked a lot, but said very little. “We have allies throughout the world who would join our cause. Decades of painstaking data collection to engineer ever greater troops. We have built monsters, though we aim towards true Midians. Train them, equip them, and command them. No longer is simple warfare adequate for our needs. Gentlemen, I call for a Great War, worthy of one in Hell itself. We are the Letzte Battalion!”
“Krieg, krieg!” The crowd chanted.
“Yes, then war it is… I expect the world to burn.”
In the calm before the storm, suddenly you saw him for what he was. The Major was only a man. Once upon a time, he was human, and like many others, he desired the powers and temptations of immortality. He may be the worst yet, arrogant beyond imagination and ambitious. Alone he was no match for Alucard, but how many vampires did he have in this army?
You were not strong in body, but words were a weapon you wielded well. The Nazis did not respect meekness. Neither could you be brazen in your disrespect. This was almost a reminder of home, the games of Hellsing’s staff, except no one was here to defend you at all. The atrium was silent after the delivery of the Major’s speech. The vampires below thrummed with soundless anticipation for the war to come.
"He isn't a monster, you are," you said, braving the Major's mercurial moods by stating the truth.

Ch.23 -The Art of War
T/W: 18+, NSFW, Alucard (Ultimate) x F!Reader, pining, Nazis, war crimes, canon-typical violence, kidnapping, sexual assault, implied gang rape of minor, forced oral sex, torture, executions, psychological horror. Dead Dove Do Not Eat. Words: 5408
Some people will find certain scenes in the upcoming chapters upsetting. Real Nazi war crimes are featured. In no way are the actions of Nazis glorified, but their inclusion acknowledges the atrocities that were committed and the senseless suffering caused by war. I believe these scenes fit into the violence typical of this series, but I updated the rating of this story to “Explicit.” These parts aren’t cute at all, but are meant to be horrifying because that’s what Millennium is like in canon, even if the anime made the characters seem comedic in their evil at times. The Hellsing OVAs are rated 18+ in many countries to begin with.
An excerpt below the cut
“Come on……Ugh!” Both of you groaned as the ball dropped on an odd number and you had to fork over your chips. So there was no strategy in roulette for a novice like yourself, only leaving your fortune up to fate as the wheel spun and decided how to land, and your luck sucked tonight. Even the lowest risk picks were a loss.
You sighed and decided to opt in for just one more round before calling it a night.
Screaming drifted through the room. Spine-curling howls echoed in the distance, followed by the banging of heavy objects crashing to the floor. It was reminiscent of Alucard dropping his coffin lid on the ground to let you in whenever you went to pillow with him.
Silence belonging to a funerary procession hung over the crowded space as the stunned guests stared at each other like lost sheep while trying to pin the unnerving sounds to a source. The unmistakable sputtering of machine guns broke the hush and several bodies crumpled to the floor like bags of sand amidst more terrified screeches.
“That's more like it! Fucking Rip, taking forever to get onboard. It was getting boring waiting around in a box!” Someone announced loudly.
Beside you, Chris cussed under his breath as you saw Gareth scanning the room from a distance. You didn’t catch who spoke as Chris grabbed your arm and hauled you to another aisle.
What was going on?!
Glassware shattered as they slid from the bartop and met the floor in a shrill explosion of shards. A brief disorienting sensation caught you by surprise as you quickly adjusted to avoid toppling over from inertia. The ship was rapidly putting on the brakes.
A man stumbled forward blindly, trying to pull his intestines back into the gaping cavity as he bled out. You’ve seen this kind of sordid violence and butchery before. Chris wheeled you around.
Terror was a cold, icy feeling that was almost paralyzing. Somehow you knew whatever horrible thing that was occurring had to do with Alucard and Hellsing. It was like watching a gruesome sequence unfold in a video game, or when you dissociated from what happened on missions –you barely noticed the pandemonium as the guests began to panic and scatter.
The bodyguard tugged you along and you traipsed through the aisles. In the unlikely event anything was to happen, you were to pose as the significant other of either Chris or Gareth. If any unscrupulous party was to be seeking you, the act was less suspicious than for a nameless civilian to have two military-trained bodyguards. It was crazy that the unimaginable scenario was now playing out.
Unspooling viscera tumbled from fever hot tissue as more people were cut down from the frenzied crowd to dissuade stampeding. Your thoughts sputtered as fractures of terror resurfaced. Chris stopped behind a set of slot machines and you peered out at the clearing ahead where a dark-skinned man with a giant eye on his hat pointed a rifle at a woman’s face.
"We’re looking for a vampire's bitch. Is it you?"
"No! I don't know anything!" She replied in a hurry.
The man cackled as he reached for her face. “Then you’re useless, ‘ey? Slut.” Her skin sagged in the iron grip as she was smashed headfirst into the floor over and over and over, a sticky wet slurp accompanying each impact.
“Hey Jan, that’s a woman. We are lookin’ for a woman. Can’t be killin’ ‘em yet,” someone else muttered.
‘Jan’ paused in dashing his victim’s brains across the carpet as he considered his actions. “Something like this is part of The Doc's science, no? I'm just helping add to his nutty data set!” He laughed with a familiar tone, one that desired more gore.
The facts from your training came to you quickly. These were certainly vampires, not ghouls. Their purposeful actions suggested it, but their supernatural strength confirmed the suspicion.
The nightmare had only begun to unravel.

Ch.21 -The Monster of Legend
I think one big reason why we don't consider the stars as important as before (not even pop-astrology anymore cares about the stars or the sky on itself, just the signs deprived of context) is because of light pollution.
For most of human history the sky looked between 1-3, 4 at most. And then all of a sudden with electrification it was gone (I'm lucky if I get 6 in my small city). The first time I saw the Milky Way fully as a kid was a spiritual experience, I was almost scared on how BRIGHT it was, it felt like someone was looking back at me. You don't get that at all with modern light pollution.
When most people talk about stargazing nowadays they think about watching about a couple of bright dots. The stars are really, really not like that. The unpolluted night sky is a festival of fireworks. There is nothing like it.
Fandom is a fantastic thing and it’s made my life better but it’s so hard to explain to Regular people what happened to my brain this past year like “there’s this old man…from a tv show….and i think he’s sexy….other ppl think he’s sexy too…..we are friends bc we like to sexualiZe him….” is not the kinda icebreaker you can say in social situations generally.
its kind of amazing to me how many people come away from watching hellsing seeing alucard as this unshakeable badass vampire which like he is to some extent but also throughout most of hellsing hes suffering from major amounts of ptsd and panic attacks which almost none of the characters are privy too because alucard cloaks himself in said unshakeable badass vampire image and even especially when only integra catches on because she remembers that her father described alucard as truly nothing more than a sobbing child whose lost everything
im saying this mainly bc the first thing that always comes to mind whenever i think of alucard is that. we see his feelings hurt Multiple times throughout the series but especially whenever people give up on their lives when faced with him. when luke valentine called him a monster alucard drops all his intimidation tactics and excitement about a fight and just somberly kills him. when that brazilian soldier kills himself out of fear we see alucard enter a full on manic ptsd state where he lashes out at seras and is talking like hes still in wallachia on the battlefield. when hes fighting alhambra and rip van winkle and all of milleniums forces he always loses any and all enthusiasm he has for fighting the moment they give into their fear and call him a monster.
like for what is supposedly in-universe this intimidating monster that can never be understood, alucard is so emotionally vulnerable with basically every major character he fights, he mourns anderson, he understands why walter betrayed them, he responds to the majors resolve to find glory in battle and death, he so genuinely wears his heart on his sleeve in most cases that it’s almost hilarious that characters can’t really catch onto his character.
walter couldn’t understand why alucard turned seras into a vampire and it really starts and ends with “she wanted to live and I didnt want to walk the night alone”, and integra knows that she won’t be around forever so she doesn’t mind it.
Headcanons for madara with a s/o ? Like relationship headcanons ? What type of person would he be attracted to ? That kinda stuff ...
Hello there, anon, thank you for the ask! 💜
What type of person would he be attracted to?
I think I'll answer this one first, because I feel like knowing what kind of person he would find attractive is important for answering your first two questions.
I've seen several debates on what kind of person Madara would like. I've seen people who say he would have loved someone strong and imposing and I've seen people who like the idea of a submissive s/o. I both agree and disagree with both of these opinions (but please, no hate towards people who believe in either of these headcanons).
As we saw, Madara certainly values power, and therefore it's easy and quite logical to assume he would enjoy a strong and not easily scared s/o. Especially, if we look at the times he was born in, strength and power seemed like the only thing that could guarantee survival. People in Warring States Period (WSP) had to be strong to survive, and this would go for Madara's s/o as well.
So, looking at it from this point of view, I believe it's true Madara's s/o would have to be quite strong and perhaps in some ways dominant.
On the other hand, I believe Madara might have found liking even in someone quiet, someone who looks very kind and gentle from the very first glance. There is strength in silence, kindness, and gentleness too.
Overall, I would say Madara would be attracted to someone who supplements him, who inspires him, someone who challenges him to become better. Someone with whom he can move forward, someone who will support him, believe in him, believe in his plans, someone who will be the heart of his goals. His s/o would also have to be at least a little persistent, I think, because I headcanon that Madara is very private individual who doesn't let people close easily.
Appearance-wise, I don't think Madara would have special demands or expectations for his s/o, I feel like to him appearance doesn't matter as much as personality does. If, however, we're taking the time he lived in into consideration, I would say he would prefer someone with a slim figure, not someone corpulent – as again, that lowers chances of survival for both for him and his s/o. (Please, I don't have anything against people with corpulent body type, I'm simply theorizing based on what we know about WSP.)
Headcanons for madara with a s/o ? Like relationship headcanons ?
Madara would be devoted to his s/o, he would love them through good and bad. I imagine that for Madara it would be important that both he and his s/o would equally be working on making their relationship successful and long-lasting.
He would show his love for his s/o not through words, but actions; by protecting them, being there for them, allowing them to see his "weaknesses", to see deep down into his "gut". And he would expect the same level of honesty and trust from them.
If his s/o would be a shinobi, he would enjoy sparring and training with them, if they wouldn't be shinobi, he might still train them at least basic ways of protecting themselves.
I would also imagine, Madara would love to share his hobbies with his s/o, so perhaps he would teach them falconry.
I also think that with his s/o, Madara would be able to show his softer side, he would show his kindness, understanding, and undying love.
From the fanfictions I found of his character, he seems to be described as a very possessive person. In a way, he might be "possessive" of his s/o – many people feel jealousy because of their lovers for example, so why wouldn't Madara, but I firmly believe he would never force his s/o into anything and would always prioritize their well-being above his own and would have respected their choices. If Madara settles down with someone, it's because he trusts them, and therefore I think he wouldn't be going around beating up other people just because they dared to glance at his s/o. Like I said above, I think he would truly, genuinely love his s/o
Lastly, to me, Madara seems like a character who hates being stagnant and who wants to grow as a person (at least before he lost Izuna), so I imagine he would share his dreams and his goals with his s/o. He would plan for a future and he would want to work together with his s/o to achieve the future they envisioned.
So...these are my headcanons, anon! I hope my answer satisfied you because I certainly enjoyed writing this! Thank you again for your ask!
I wasn't sure if people are ready for my realistic headcanons, but finally I just did it. Just in case it's not for everyone.
trigger warning : Involve suicidal thoughts, depression, violence to women and children, panic attack, eroticization of pain, self-hate.
From the time Madara was born Uchiha clan was not anymore a wealthy family. Because of instability, farmers fled combat zone, The lands they owned had become wilderness. Yet they kept their prestige among population and their children still received an education similar to noble family.
He suffered from malnutrition in his childhood, and starved himself to give food to his brothers but thanks to his good stamina it didn't really affect his physical abilities during his youth.
His hair cut, short in front and longer in the back is a result of heavy use of katon which literally burning his locks. But it's part of his charm.
He wore gloves for the same reason, fire makes his skin getting softer and sensitive.
He always has this slightly burning smell on him and all his clothes. It doesn't matter the number of shower or washing machines.
His long mane was not originally for aesthetic purpose, but just carelessness, then an excuse to hide his face and emotions, and finally his trade mark. People were wondering how strong or/and crazy he was to keep such long hair while it was not suitable during a fight. it can be set on fire, wedge in his armour, catch by an opponent...
He was almost blind up to Izuna's death. He expanded greatly his sensorial skills because he needed to rely on it daily.
His insomnia came from overthinking and fear of failure. He rarely sleeps more than 3 hours per night, He occasionally does micro nap (10 min max) during the day.
During his insomnia phases, and if the moon is full to avoid using candles, he read a lot of ancient philosophy, history, military strategy from Uchihas library.
He never married, never had a serious relationship. He had romantic view on someone now and then, but he never pursued it actively. Wars, fear of loosing again someone dear. Plus, he was convinced that his life as shinobi will be short, out of question to leave behind him widow and orphans.
This being said, let's be honest a man with such level of testosterone won't stay virgin all his life. And it's a common knowledge next to any military camp there is always prostitutes. He did his business in total discretion, to the point his clan questioned his orientation. He was a loyal client but cold and distant, ruthless during act, even after years of visiting the same persons.
Like many shinobis, he occasionally was subject of panic attacks. When he felt the symptoms coming, palpitations, pain in his chest ect... he always found a way to isolate himself. His triggers were always fear of loosing people he loves, fear of loosing control of himself, fear of not reaching his objectives. He hated himself when it happens.
He can be very rude and harsh to people. But what he said to others is half as hard he criticise himself daily.
90% of his schedule out of missions or fights were training. His dedication is obsessional.
10% left, during days of celebration, he is pretty good at calligraphy and writing haiku. Because he's a shinobi, he is specialized in death poems that warriors write before going to an important battle. But he burns them as soon as he comes back home. Doesn't want anyone to know about his poetic side at least when he's still alive.
After so many years of receiving punches, his tolerance to pain was extremely high which could be a problem sometimes, while fighting and high by adrenaline he often didn't realise how serious were his wounds.
Considering the number of battles he has been involved his body is covered with scars more or less ugly. And I'm sorry to say it, but I'm sure his face has not been preserved intact. He was kind of reckless during fight and didn't care about his physical appearance.
Paradoxically while he genuinely want to cease war, he find an erotic attraction in fight to death. Like people attracts to extreme sport, he feels the more alive when risking his own.
The reason why there is almost no uchihas kunoichi is practical. They want to preserve their bloodline and a female dead in battlefield is a loss for the future of the clan since they don't married outside their clan. Men would in rare situation when there is no women available but never female uchihas.
They have a practice close to what did Rajput warrior caste in India called Jauhâr , if enemies attack uchihas basement and battle is definitely lost, women of honour are expected to do self-immolation with their children rather than being kidnap, rape or put into slavery.
Like Naruto /Sasuke fight, the valley of the End left him with irreversible wounds, like chronic pains. And probably as well for Hashirama too maybe a slow down to his regenerative cells.
After the valley of the end, it was symbolically the death of his previous life as an uchiha. But he partially lived in his cave. He might occasionally travel undercover to look for informations, and food. It's only after Hashirama's death. He entirely took an ascetic lifestyle, denied of any pleasure, reduce to minimal for surviving. There was nothing anymore who could attached him from this physical world aside his plan. He let the white zetsus doing the main job as spy.
Without Gedo statute he would probably have die before his 40 of general exhaustion. There is always a price to pay when someone burns with such feral intensity his vital energy, submit himself to extreme training since childhood, fighting, lack of sleep, stress, depression. (Itachi can talk about it !)
During his fifty years retreat in the cave when he was not studying for his Moon plan spend 50% of the time within his genjutsu, rewatching endlessly the same memories with Izuna, Hashirama, deceased people he missed from Uchiha clan. And the older he gets, the longer he spend into his illusion. Kind of like an opium addiction.
Mentally he stops ageing at the time Izuna died, around 25. Exactly the appearance he looks when he put Obito into his illusion.
After decades of not seeing Rinnegan appearing he was almost in the verge of giving up the plan of the moon. Black Zetsu was paradoxically the one who save his life many time and put him back in track.
He is not the type to consciously commit suicide, but rather putting himself in suicidal situations like attacking alone an army or neglecting his health. In the cave, he put himself so deeply into his genjutsu that many time he forgot to control his chakra and if black zetsu didn't wake him up he would had just die inside his dream.
