His psycho murder face gets me wet
Alu used to have real clothes tailored for him. He had an entire wardrobe of fine suits complete with cravat and silk handkerchiefs, as well has multiple sets of gloves embroidered with his restriction seals. And fedora hats. And each set of clothes lasted no more than a night in the field. Actually, they lasted no more than 5 min once Alucard went for his walks
At first, only Walter was appalled because he was supposed to clean and patch the clothes, but eventually, even Integra snapped when faced with Alucard's wardrobe budget. So she made him materialize his own clothing
His choice was between wearing clothes or having unlimited blessed ammo (Abridged Alu went on one mission in the nude just to troll Integra)
Thank you for asking! Hope I answered you properly! More to be posted in the coming weeks.

T/W: 18+, NSFW, Alucard (Ultimate) x F!Reader, pining, Nazis, war crimes, canon-typical violence, kidnapping, sexual assault, implied gang rape of minor, forced oral sex, torture, executions, psychological horror. Dead Dove Do Not Eat. Words: 5408
Some people will find certain scenes in the upcoming chapters upsetting. Real Nazi war crimes are featured. In no way are the actions of Nazis glorified, but their inclusion acknowledges the atrocities that were committed and the senseless suffering caused by war. I believe these scenes fit into the violence typical of this series, but I updated the rating of this story to “Explicit.” These parts aren’t cute at all, but are meant to be horrifying because that’s what Millennium is like in canon, even if the anime made the characters seem comedic in their evil at times. The Hellsing OVAs are rated 18+ in many countries to begin with.
An excerpt below the cut
“Come on……Ugh!” Both of you groaned as the ball dropped on an odd number and you had to fork over your chips. So there was no strategy in roulette for a novice like yourself, only leaving your fortune up to fate as the wheel spun and decided how to land, and your luck sucked tonight. Even the lowest risk picks were a loss.
You sighed and decided to opt in for just one more round before calling it a night.
Screaming drifted through the room. Spine-curling howls echoed in the distance, followed by the banging of heavy objects crashing to the floor. It was reminiscent of Alucard dropping his coffin lid on the ground to let you in whenever you went to pillow with him.
Silence belonging to a funerary procession hung over the crowded space as the stunned guests stared at each other like lost sheep while trying to pin the unnerving sounds to a source. The unmistakable sputtering of machine guns broke the hush and several bodies crumpled to the floor like bags of sand amidst more terrified screeches.
“That's more like it! Fucking Rip, taking forever to get onboard. It was getting boring waiting around in a box!” Someone announced loudly.
Beside you, Chris cussed under his breath as you saw Gareth scanning the room from a distance. You didn’t catch who spoke as Chris grabbed your arm and hauled you to another aisle.
What was going on?!
Glassware shattered as they slid from the bartop and met the floor in a shrill explosion of shards. A brief disorienting sensation caught you by surprise as you quickly adjusted to avoid toppling over from inertia. The ship was rapidly putting on the brakes.
A man stumbled forward blindly, trying to pull his intestines back into the gaping cavity as he bled out. You’ve seen this kind of sordid violence and butchery before. Chris wheeled you around.
Terror was a cold, icy feeling that was almost paralyzing. Somehow you knew whatever horrible thing that was occurring had to do with Alucard and Hellsing. It was like watching a gruesome sequence unfold in a video game, or when you dissociated from what happened on missions –you barely noticed the pandemonium as the guests began to panic and scatter.
The bodyguard tugged you along and you traipsed through the aisles. In the unlikely event anything was to happen, you were to pose as the significant other of either Chris or Gareth. If any unscrupulous party was to be seeking you, the act was less suspicious than for a nameless civilian to have two military-trained bodyguards. It was crazy that the unimaginable scenario was now playing out.
Unspooling viscera tumbled from fever hot tissue as more people were cut down from the frenzied crowd to dissuade stampeding. Your thoughts sputtered as fractures of terror resurfaced. Chris stopped behind a set of slot machines and you peered out at the clearing ahead where a dark-skinned man with a giant eye on his hat pointed a rifle at a woman’s face.
"We’re looking for a vampire's bitch. Is it you?"
"No! I don't know anything!" She replied in a hurry.
The man cackled as he reached for her face. “Then you’re useless, ‘ey? Slut.” Her skin sagged in the iron grip as she was smashed headfirst into the floor over and over and over, a sticky wet slurp accompanying each impact.
“Hey Jan, that’s a woman. We are lookin’ for a woman. Can’t be killin’ ‘em yet,” someone else muttered.
‘Jan’ paused in dashing his victim’s brains across the carpet as he considered his actions. “Something like this is part of The Doc's science, no? I'm just helping add to his nutty data set!” He laughed with a familiar tone, one that desired more gore.
The facts from your training came to you quickly. These were certainly vampires, not ghouls. Their purposeful actions suggested it, but their supernatural strength confirmed the suspicion.
The nightmare had only begun to unravel.

CW: 18+, NSFW, Alucard (Ultimate) x F!Reader, explicit sexual content, Dom Vladcard, ROMANCE, oral sex, bondage, blindfold, ballgag, shadows/tentacles, ‘speculum,’ breeding kink, creampie, aftercare, affectionate vampire king, comfort, history, self-indulgent fantasies, cervical penetration, shadow writing. Extreme sex re: tentacle porn. But this is still emotional smut in the same strain as the other Interludes.
This chapter can be skipped and imo you shouldn't miss too much plot-wise. Something interesting that does happen will be described in later chapters. Don’t take the contents of this chapter too seriously. It wasn’t planned well in advance like most other chapters. The Reader is ovulating and so am I, that’s all. Oh daddy Vlad.
In this fic, vampires are infertile because they are dead, including their spunk, which Vlad knows. He's just indulging in a fantasy and contemplating a life which he knows would never have been possible.
I also went through this story from the beginning and made some small edits. I swapped some words here and there that I liked more and made two changes to ensure continuity and adherence to the canon:
Alucard should only be using one gun in Ch.7 since he doesn’t have the Jackal yet
In the OVAs, there was no painting hiding the entrance to Alucard’s lair
Excerpt below the cut
”Alu-!” You stopped in your tracks upon entering the great room after the check in the bedroom yielded no vampire.
“Vlad.”
The diffuse rays from another hall retreated shortly after illuminating the lounging figure, as if shying away from the night creature of legend.
Alucard was always correct whenever he mused about the wonders of darkness’ cover.
There was beauty in the unbroken shadows. The poor visibility compelled you to adjust to the nuanced differences in the most subtle shades of black. The brooding giant nearly fused into the surroundings, consuming any specs of light, his knee-length tresses flooding around him in an inky pool deeper than the background. No metal reflected the lamps outside. Vlad was unarmed, clad in a skin-tight suit covered in straps that outlined his impressive physique.
This was not who you expected to find. Twin citrine jewels flickered softly as they regarded you. You silently observed each other for a moment. Was he sad again tonight? No, clearly he could scent your need and was waiting to see what you would do.
‘The trappings of his physical form were meaningless,’ you recalled him insisting. You took wide exaggerated steps to allow your groin to air –and for your natural aromas to diffuse better. Kneeling at his feet, you wedged between the King’s knees and fumbled with the leather straps to fish out his member. The outfit was an irritating single piece garment. Fortunately, the clothing parted as you dug in and left you salivating at the creamy flesh nestled within a sea of darkness.
Summoning up a piece of forgotten courage, you glanced up at his imposing magnificence before standing abruptly to lead him back out to the throne room. Your lover was a king tonight and respect must be imparted.
You exhaled as you arrived and got a proper look at him. The jumpsuit accentuated the outline of those sublime proportions. His chest was thick and quads swollen with brawn; you could make out the grooves where his triceps began and where the “V” to his hips ended. The smoggy darkness cloaked him like a jealous mistress unwilling to relinquish her finest work of art.
His cock hung semi-erect from a carpet of neatly trimmed pubes.
The vampire was enjoying the attention, eyes sparkling as he watched you drink him up. The corners of his lips tilted roguishly and your gaze focused on those plump pads. Something snapped.
Your mouth crashed into Dracula’s in an open-mouthed kiss as you stood on the tips of your toes and nudged him back to encourage him to sit, to allow you to fellate the King on his throne.
Piece by piece, you took your time shedding the components of your night clothes, until at last you let your panties drop and join the pile pooled at your feet with finality.
His stare bore through you.
There was a low whining sound from someplace far away, yours, as you rubbed hard against his body and collapsed to the floor to settle between his legs again. A trail of fresh bruises were left in your mouth’s wake along his thighs. Audacious, but the need to satiate the flesh was stronger than any lingering intimidation inspired by this version of your lover.
The bruises disappeared before your eyes. The circles mottling the dead man's skin were never bright red. Angry maroon faded into smooth alabaster within moments as the pounding of your heart kept pace with the speed of your lover’s healing.
Your fist tightened around him. You latched tight and sank as far as you could, casting your gaze at him again proudly through hooded eyes when you barely gagged at this depth. It was the triumph of many months of training in the bedroom. Your cheeks hollowed.
Vlad was austere and gorgeous, and though he remained silent, those narrowed vermilion irises remained fixated on your actions. At least the way he gazed at you wasn't as lecherous as Alucard.
The vampire grew for you rapidly, a reassuring indication you were doing something well. The back of his fingers stroked your cheeks as you bobbed and applied more suction while you prodded his balls.
You stayed on your knees in supplication to a demon, feeling drunk in the act of perverse prayer.
You grew docile as you suckled your pacifier, marvelling at the fleshy taste of goodness when he tugged you off the ground and bent down to bestow another passionate kiss upon your hungry lips. Your tongues intertwined and shoved at each other. Your hands dug into his suit and traced the contours of his pecs, ravenously trying to get under and onto his skin. The royal vampire rumbled as you panted to catch your breath.
“I have something to show you, my Darling. It is as we discussed,” he said.
You almost forgot your arrangements through the haze. That explained why he was dressed this provocatively.
Show me.
The warlord’s hand enveloped yours as he led with a loose grip to the bedroom, where he stopped in the middle of the cavernous chamber. Somehow, you missed the leather sling dangling from the ceiling earlier. It oscillated ever so slightly in its emptiness. Not for much longer.
The vampire King, for all his nefarious reputation, stared down at you tenderly and smoothed the back of his hand over your face. So much power and all of it was restrained for your sake. A blindfold appeared from nowhere and he fastened it around your head reverently.
“Do you remember what you agreed to? What you asked for?” He said as he cradled both sides of your face and coaxed you into tilting it up at him.

Ch. 19- Valentine's
Izuna is most likely one of the most mysterious character in the Narutoverse. He's truly a ghost. Barely seen but so important to Madara's storyline and his eyes the most powerful sight of the entire series. Regardless, all we know about his personality in the canon can be resumed in few sentences : He admired his brother as a child, he was also a fierce warrior from early age, he warned his brother against the Senju, and before his death willingly offered his eyes to Madara in order to protect the Uchihas. It's quite thin for a character development...
In the fandom, fanart, and the many fanfictions included, the general consensus is to represent Izuna as a soft and gentle character always devoted to his brother. Sometimes he's the victim of a hungry-power Madara (but that's really old stories back when no one knew that Obito was cosplaying Madara), often sassy and effeminate. A bit like Haku who was entirely in service of Zabuza. I suppose this idea comes from the adjectives that describes Izuna in the databook :
Considering the lack of information in canon, that headcanon starts to become the more popular. My ambitious is to try to discover what was Kishimoto's intentions for Izuna if he had more time to articulate that character. It's just an hypothesis that I present you, it's in no way a definite answer.
I) Intuition
That's nothing I can prove but it always seems to me strange that Izuna was the quiet one in this sibling's dynamic. If you put yourself in his shoes opened-toes sandals, he is Madara Uchiha's little brother. From birth, his brother was seen with special attention. Madara was the oldest, the heir and on top of that the genius one. Butsuma said that as a child he was able to kill adults. Being the second is virtually being invisible in front of other adults, it would have naturally created jealousy and a need to exist outside of the big brother's shadow. We've seen this same dynamic before between Sasuke and Itachi. The little one feels always left out. The difference there, is that Itachi was mostly absent in Sasuke's life, he was always busy with school and missions. And after the Uchiha's downfall, when Sasuke was just 7 years old, the distance between them wider dreadfully. For the majority of Sasuke's life, Itachi was a distant childhood memory. In contrary, Izuna seems to have stayed close to his brother until his death at 24 years old. They enjoy a childhood together and were so close than even adults they were able to take over the Uchiha clan. Because they spend more than 20 years together, sharing happiness and losses, there is for me an implicit idea that Izuna was balancing Madara and vice versa. In the same way, Hashirama's visionnary ideas are counter-balanced by a down-to-earth Tobirama. The Senju carves his unique personality by constantly creating new jutsus that surprised his opponents while Hashirama was known for being that rare and powerful Mokuton user. Madara being this taciturn person in public, Izuna must have been a bit more outgoing. So if Madara was in private described as kind by Hashirama, maybe Izuna was more rational when dealing with people.
II) Canon + extra materials
in extra materials I mean : databook, official card, official illustrations, video games ect...
Even if I'm team canon-only, sometimes other fillers or goodies can give us a hint of what would have been Izuna. And two things catch my attention :
first, he's always represented as someone very confident, holding a sword ready to slay someone, focused. Actually...he NEVER SMILES. He smirks once in a filler when he thought he was about to overpower Tobirama. It shows more his merciless attitude towards his enemy than any trace of softness. We are very far from the flower boy from fanarts.
secondly his voice...Have you heard his adult voice? It's surprisingly deep comparing to his slender appearance. Again it doesn't sound like a fragile baby doll but more like a commander in chief.
III) Izuna vs Obito
It took me a long time to realise how much Izuna is in the canon constantly in parallel with Obito. It goes back to my old post on "why Madara chose Obito". Months later, I think the answer is more obvious that what I thought back then.
Izuna simply might have had a very similar personality than Obito. Or should I say, Madara saw in Obito, not only his potential strength but also a clear resemblance in character to his dear brother. At the Kannabi's bridge, He observed and found Obito dying after he saved Kakashi, Rin and gave his right eye to Kakashi. There is a strong parallel to Izuna's life who also gave his eyes willingly to Madara when he was dying. In both case, there is a deep devotion for the well being of their friends/clansmen.
Even if Madara consciously chose to cut bonds with the world, unconsciously he still yearned for companionship. It's obvious by the fact he couldn't stop talking about his friend Hashirama, and in the similar way he looked for his "right hand" in Obito. Yes, in a deranged and manipulative way but even during the war, he never doubted Obito's intentions until it was obvious that he betrayed him.
So not only Obito was a replacement for Izuna as a brother in arm, but the databook gives them the same birthday the 10th of february, obviously the same zodiac sign Aquarius and most importantly the same blood type.
IV) Blood type
Izuna and Obito are said to be the same blood type O. Madara also is type O. As a westerner I've never paid attention to this information (I don't even know my own blood type to be honest!😅) until I've learned recently that Japaneses have got a whole culture associating blood type with certain personality traits. They take this more seriously that astrology to the point there is even campaigns to prevent discrimination towards rare types. Since I don't know much about this theory, let me quote some other sources.
So what is type O?
source : https://www.tofugu.com/japan/japanese-blood-type/
This source goes deeper into type O in Naruto.
source : https://aminoapps.com/c/naruto/page/blog/blood-types-personality-theory-in-naruto/lrqm_VpiQuDpPEDjoMXgoMVnn0E3eeXmpw
I don't really know how to interpret the type O because the adjectives seems very larges and vagues to me. but it seems that leadership trait, hard working, outgoing, protective, direct, confident are the trait that comes the most from the various sources I've read. In Naruto, the others type O are : Kakashi, Asuma, Sakura, Temari, Raikage, Neji.
An other interesting aspect, is relationship between each types. Look closely at OxO relationship.
Let's go back now to compare now Izuna and Obito's databook pages with this new information in mind.
Notice again how Izuna is systematically showed in action, fighting someone or ready to attack. That's not really a moment where he looks relaxed with an easy-going attitude.
Izuna's favourite hobby was training with his brother Madara. Because of their closeness as brothers they developed an healthy competition. A good OxO relationship.
In the opposite, considering the circumstance of their meeting, Obito never truly trusted Madara and even when he agreed on the Tsukuyomi plan, he decided early on that he'll do it his own way and almost overtook Madara's role as the "saviour". It shows a negative OxO relationship.
In this perceptive, it seems to me that Izuna and Obito share in common of being extremely strong-willed and competitive. They have an inflexible determination that never sways. After being deadly wounded, Izuna still found the strength to warn Madara about the Senjus and again in his deadbed he made Madara promise to watch over the Uchiha clan. His vision (even in the literal way) was strong enough to motivate Madara long after his death. This devoted, balanced personality must be read as a confident desire to protect his people, the Uchiha clan, to the point of self-sacrifice.
Obito demonstrated two times an incredible will. Once as a child when he defended Kakashi's father and swore to destroy an unfair shinobi system, and a second time when he battled against the juubi. He knew he wasn't physically strong enough neither to hold the rinnegan nor contain juubi inside him but by cheer willpower he forced his destiny.
To conclude my guess is that Kishimoto intended Izuna as a warlord, a man of action, just like Madara, with a strong sense of duty and sacrifice for his clan. And the Senju represented to him the epitome of threat for the Uchiha's peace. Izuna pictured peace and harmony related to his clan not the whole world like his brother did (and maybe that's why he had to make him promise to protect the Uchihas first!?). He was probably more extravert, agreeable and also more distant emotionally than Madara. His interaction with his big brother must have been a funniest version to what we've seen with Obito. Just imagining those two uchiha big egos together, they were probably insufferable for their opponents 😂. If you read the manga again it's as if Madara is expecting a back-and-forth banter with Obito...just like Izuna would have done with him in the middle of a battles.😢
That's all I wanted to share on my hypothesis, maybe in future Kishimoto will give us something about Izuna's past and this post will age badly but let me know what you think of this theory?
I wasn't sure if people are ready for my realistic headcanons, but finally I just did it. Just in case it's not for everyone.
trigger warning : Involve suicidal thoughts, depression, violence to women and children, panic attack, eroticization of pain, self-hate.
From the time Madara was born Uchiha clan was not anymore a wealthy family. Because of instability, farmers fled combat zone, The lands they owned had become wilderness. Yet they kept their prestige among population and their children still received an education similar to noble family.
He suffered from malnutrition in his childhood, and starved himself to give food to his brothers but thanks to his good stamina it didn't really affect his physical abilities during his youth.
His hair cut, short in front and longer in the back is a result of heavy use of katon which literally burning his locks. But it's part of his charm.
He wore gloves for the same reason, fire makes his skin getting softer and sensitive.
He always has this slightly burning smell on him and all his clothes. It doesn't matter the number of shower or washing machines.
His long mane was not originally for aesthetic purpose, but just carelessness, then an excuse to hide his face and emotions, and finally his trade mark. People were wondering how strong or/and crazy he was to keep such long hair while it was not suitable during a fight. it can be set on fire, wedge in his armour, catch by an opponent...
He was almost blind up to Izuna's death. He expanded greatly his sensorial skills because he needed to rely on it daily.
His insomnia came from overthinking and fear of failure. He rarely sleeps more than 3 hours per night, He occasionally does micro nap (10 min max) during the day.
During his insomnia phases, and if the moon is full to avoid using candles, he read a lot of ancient philosophy, history, military strategy from Uchihas library.
He never married, never had a serious relationship. He had romantic view on someone now and then, but he never pursued it actively. Wars, fear of loosing again someone dear. Plus, he was convinced that his life as shinobi will be short, out of question to leave behind him widow and orphans.
This being said, let's be honest a man with such level of testosterone won't stay virgin all his life. And it's a common knowledge next to any military camp there is always prostitutes. He did his business in total discretion, to the point his clan questioned his orientation. He was a loyal client but cold and distant, ruthless during act, even after years of visiting the same persons.
Like many shinobis, he occasionally was subject of panic attacks. When he felt the symptoms coming, palpitations, pain in his chest ect... he always found a way to isolate himself. His triggers were always fear of loosing people he loves, fear of loosing control of himself, fear of not reaching his objectives. He hated himself when it happens.
He can be very rude and harsh to people. But what he said to others is half as hard he criticise himself daily.
90% of his schedule out of missions or fights were training. His dedication is obsessional.
10% left, during days of celebration, he is pretty good at calligraphy and writing haiku. Because he's a shinobi, he is specialized in death poems that warriors write before going to an important battle. But he burns them as soon as he comes back home. Doesn't want anyone to know about his poetic side at least when he's still alive.
After so many years of receiving punches, his tolerance to pain was extremely high which could be a problem sometimes, while fighting and high by adrenaline he often didn't realise how serious were his wounds.
Considering the number of battles he has been involved his body is covered with scars more or less ugly. And I'm sorry to say it, but I'm sure his face has not been preserved intact. He was kind of reckless during fight and didn't care about his physical appearance.
Paradoxically while he genuinely want to cease war, he find an erotic attraction in fight to death. Like people attracts to extreme sport, he feels the more alive when risking his own.
The reason why there is almost no uchihas kunoichi is practical. They want to preserve their bloodline and a female dead in battlefield is a loss for the future of the clan since they don't married outside their clan. Men would in rare situation when there is no women available but never female uchihas.
They have a practice close to what did Rajput warrior caste in India called Jauhâr , if enemies attack uchihas basement and battle is definitely lost, women of honour are expected to do self-immolation with their children rather than being kidnap, rape or put into slavery.
Like Naruto /Sasuke fight, the valley of the End left him with irreversible wounds, like chronic pains. And probably as well for Hashirama too maybe a slow down to his regenerative cells.
After the valley of the end, it was symbolically the death of his previous life as an uchiha. But he partially lived in his cave. He might occasionally travel undercover to look for informations, and food. It's only after Hashirama's death. He entirely took an ascetic lifestyle, denied of any pleasure, reduce to minimal for surviving. There was nothing anymore who could attached him from this physical world aside his plan. He let the white zetsus doing the main job as spy.
Without Gedo statute he would probably have die before his 40 of general exhaustion. There is always a price to pay when someone burns with such feral intensity his vital energy, submit himself to extreme training since childhood, fighting, lack of sleep, stress, depression. (Itachi can talk about it !)
During his fifty years retreat in the cave when he was not studying for his Moon plan spend 50% of the time within his genjutsu, rewatching endlessly the same memories with Izuna, Hashirama, deceased people he missed from Uchiha clan. And the older he gets, the longer he spend into his illusion. Kind of like an opium addiction.
Mentally he stops ageing at the time Izuna died, around 25. Exactly the appearance he looks when he put Obito into his illusion.
After decades of not seeing Rinnegan appearing he was almost in the verge of giving up the plan of the moon. Black Zetsu was paradoxically the one who save his life many time and put him back in track.
He is not the type to consciously commit suicide, but rather putting himself in suicidal situations like attacking alone an army or neglecting his health. In the cave, he put himself so deeply into his genjutsu that many time he forgot to control his chakra and if black zetsu didn't wake him up he would had just die inside his dream.

What do you think were madaras coping mechanisms if he had any
?
Thank you for this ask! Canon characters like to think of Madara as a madman who fell from grace because of his thirst for power, but based on what we know of him, that isn’t quite true.
Coping mechanisms are ways to decrease stress and deal with the uncomfortable emotions that arise from stressors. We all know how important family is to Madara. He was particularly invested in the welfare of his one remaining brother, Izuna. Madara’s coping mechanisms can be separated into those from before and after Izuna’s death.
Adaptive Coping: Before Izuna Died
Madara and Izuna led the Uchiha together and brought their family into their position of being one of the two greatest clans, not an easy feat during the Warring States Era. They seemed to have provided the clan with different aspects of leadership –Madara with godlike military strength and protection and Izuna (who was also very strong) with the political savvy and interpersonal skills to lead a group of people.
Madara was good to his family and there are no accounts of him being a poor leader at this time despite the unending stress from the conflicts they faced. Madara’s way of coping during this period was to throw himself into taking responsibility for his clan and to confide in Izuna.
Taking responsibility- Taking control of a situation is usually considered an adaptive method of coping. After the pain of his other brothers’ deaths, kid Madara believed himself responsible because he wasn’t strong enough to protect them, as seen during his childhood conversations with Hashi by the river. I think the losses of his first brothers greatly spurred him into taking on the responsibility for the wellbeing of his last brother and clan. (You can see how much sleep he lost from his eyebags haha). Madara became as strong as he was not only because he was a talented genius, but because he sincerely wanted to protect those he loves. He got much, much stronger off-screen and attained the MS alongside Izuna and they brought the Uchiha to new heights.
Confiding in Izuna- I think this one goes without saying. Izuna was Madara’s emotional rock and anchor. It was only right before Izuna was killed that Madara started his decline as a clan leader and eventually lost their support.
Maladaptive Coping: After Izuna’s Death
Madara’s fate after his beloved brother’s death was truly tragedy. His coping mechanisms could basically be summarized as bottling his grief, anger, and suffering inside until he exploded and lashed out, before isolating himself when lashing out didn’t work.
Madara didn’t go mad right after Izuna’s death. He was still doing everything he could to be the responsible leader of his clan and work with Hashirama. To be honest, he was set up for failure from the beginning due to how Konoha’s political structure was designed. That is, it was biased against allowing the Uchiha into positions of political power. He could have lowered his expectations (a coping mechanism that just doesn’t fit Mads) for Konoha, but he’d still slowly wither away inside because he would be failing to keep his promise to Izuna. There were multiple flashbacks that illustrated Madara’s resentment, such as in his facial expressions during his battles with Hashi or his interaction with Muu and kid Ohnoki. Madara was just bottling it all up.
I think Madara truly wanted the best for his clan and could clearly see the situation they were being forced to settle with wasn’t in their best interests in the long-term. But he didn’t possess the social skills that Izuna did and could not convince his clan to stand by him, and even ended up ostracized by them.
It was only from this point onwards that Madara really fell apart. He lost everything: his immediate family, his extended family, his purpose, and he helped found a village that could only be described as being uneasy about him. Madara never verbally asked for help, but he did in his own way, by lashing out with angry outbursts at Hashirama, who promised much more at the founding of Konoha, who was supposed to understand him, but actually didn’t. Hashirama never helped with the discrimination the Uchiha faced.
To cope, Madara isolated himself. Thus began the loneliest decades of his life, where he spiraled further and further down until he was the senile grandpa Obito met, who was even susceptible to a Venus fly trap’s ploys. He still believed in taking control of the situation, but in a much more twisted way than in his younger years. Whereas in his youth he wanted to protect what he cherished, in his twilight years, Madara came to the conclusion it was his responsibility to save the entire world by becoming its Messiah through the Infinite Tsukuyomi Plan. The rest is history.
Ahhh, I need to get back into my Hellsing brain so I can start writing again next week! Please send asks. Can be about Sabine, Hans, Barrett or anything to do with my hellsingverse please 🙏
Do you think madara can read people well or not ?
Sorry I took FOREVER to answer my Madara asks, but here I am!
I think Madara can read people EXTREMELY well. Frighteningly so. Not only was he observant (I think he was implied to be moreso than even the typical shinobi of his era), he was very attuned to people's emotions. Combined with the Sharingan's ability to see chakra, Madara was incredibly adept at reading others, both in battle and as...people. However, his ability to see/understand how people were feeling and/or their motivations did not always translate into social aptitude. Seriously, that was among his greatest failings, his inability to win people to his side despite how perceptive he was.
Thank you for the ask!
