Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, is an ape-like creature that calls the forests of North America home. Sasquatch is mainly seen throughout the American Pacific Northwest and up into Canada, though there seem to be other continental variations of the creature.
Bigfoot is a large, hairy, ape-like creature that stands at approximately 6-15 feet (1.8-4.6 m) tall. Bigfoot’s fur is generally described as either dark brown or black; many reports include Bigfoot’s putrid smell.
The Patterson-Gimlin film is arguably the most famous Bigfoot sighting. If you’ve seen a picture of Bigfoot, it’s probably from the Patterson-Gimlin film. The film was created back in 1967 in northern California. Ever since the filming in Bluff Creek, California, many people have attempted to either prove or disprove the film’s authenticity. Here is a stabilized version of the Patterson-Gimlin film.
Other potential versions of Bigfoot are the Yowie (Oceana/Australia), Boggy Creek Monster (Arkansas, US), Yeti (Himalayas/Tibet)

Highly relatable if you were ever in middle or high school theater. Plenty of romantic drama, as you may have guessed by the name, but a really cute story.
This one is kind of the odd one out on this list and I debated leaving it off because of that. Aster isn’t explicitly queer, but his story does explore what it means to be gender non-conforming with a supernatural twist. Deals with breaking gender roles, and is really sweet. (It also has a very nice sequel called Hidden Witch)
This book gives me life. It’s just very sweet.
I mean, I’m just a sucker for this art style. LOOK HOW CUTE.
Noelle Stevenson can always be trusted to deliver, and Lumberjanes certainly does.
