OTP with Children Prompts

Person A met Person B in a professional setting and they hit it off. They’ve casually been going out for a few weeks now and Person A starts to realize that they never actually told Person B about their kids.

It was a cliché to fall for the babysitter, but they were both single and Person A’s child already liked Person B a lot, so why not be a bit cliché sometimes.

Person A wants to have a child and their best friend, Person B, wouldn’t mind to be a parent either. After some long (or not so long) conversations, they decide to co-parent.

It was the scenario their parents warned them about, Person A gets pregnant after a one-night stand with Person B. Now they have to figure out, how they want to go from there.

Person A is a teacher and they shouldn’t get too involved in their students’ personal lives, but they keep falling for Person B, who always gets their kid after school and sometimes even talks to Person A for a few minutes. They don’t know where the other parent is, until they suddenly come to get their child one day. Person A does not realize that the parents are no longer together and gets miserable, thinking how perfect the parents are for each other.

Being a single parent and not getting out of the house enough is not easy, but Person A loves their kids and if they have to put their dating life on hold, so be it. But when Person B moves into the apartment next door, it’s the kids that see an opportunity to make their parent happy.

Person A is thankful for their friend group helping out with their kid, because paying the bills and caring for a child as a single parent is hard. Person B is relatively new to the friend group, but they’re already proving to be great with Person A’s child.

They don’t really know how it happened, but they somehow… acquired a child. And now they don’t want to leave them to their own devices again.

Person A wants to have a child, but where they live, they can’t adopt/get a sperm donation without a spouse. They used to be with Person B and for some reason (maybe financially), they never divorced. So, Person A asks Person B to help them get a child.

To meet someone that they really like and feel connected to and that accepts their children is so rare, that Person A and Person B are thankful to have found each other. Unfortunately, their children decided to be each other’s nemesis.
