This one’s my personal favourite. Simple, yet effective. A look to enhance your natural beauty. The eyebrows are very 2016, the lashes are bold, but everything else is quite toned down and simple. This look is perfect for everyday and special occasions. You can also do it without foundation to make it even more simple.
Primer
Baby powder
Foundation, tinted moisturiser(can be done without)
Concealer
Setting/loose powder
Pressed powder
Eyebrow gel
Brow pomade
Highlighter
Lashes
Lash glue
Lip gloss
Setting spray
Powder brush
Beauty blender
Tweezers
Brow brush
Apply primer to skin, (skincare should be done before this step) make sure primer is applied ALL OVER your face
#faithtip After applying primer, use a brush to apply baby powder to your skin
These two steps will keep your makeup intact for AGES and prevent a lot of sweating through makeup
Then apply foundation or tinted moisturiser and blend well with a beauty blender (you can skip this step to keep your makeup light)
#faithtip wet your beauty blender with setting spray for better hold and easier blending
Apply pressed powder with a powder brush and blend well with a brush
This look is quite light, so instead of under-eye concealer apply loose setting powder from under your eyes to your temples, using a beauty blender
Apply loose setting powder from the side of your lip to the side of your face, under your cheek
Leave the setting powder unblended for now
One of the KEYS to this look is eyebrows, make sure your brows have a defined shape
Brush through your brows and shape them with brow gel
Use pomade and a small brow brush to draw a line on the bottom of your eyebrows, following the shape of your brows
Draw a line at the top of your brows following the shape of your brows again
Fill your brows in within the lines
Brush through your brows again with brow gel
After this, apply concealer under your brows
The concealer should look like you have painted an outline of your eyebrows
Blend this in with a beauty blender
Use a beauty blender to apply loose powder underneath and on top of your brows, let it sit.
When I do this look I don’t apply lashes because I wear cluster lashes/extensions, I find it quicker and easier for me to get ready
People who wear lash extensions/clusters can also skip lash application
STRIP LASHES
But for this step apply glue to strip lashes
Wave the lashes around for a bit so the glue dries a tiny bit and feels a little bit sticky
Place them on the lash line and adjust where needed (using tweezers or fingers)
CLUSTER LASHES
Strip lashes can also be cut into smaller pieces or use cluster lashes
Dip them into glue and wipe off the excess
Use tweezers to hold the lashes
Pull the top of your eyelid upwards so you can see underneath your eyelashes
#faithtip Wipe the glue on the part you are applying to then you can dip the lash in glue again before actually placing it underneath your lash
This make the lashes more firm and secure
Make sure it is not too close to your eye as this can be irritating
Fan your eyes if you can still feel wet glue
Using a powder brush, brush away/blend out the loose powder, under your eyes, under your cheeks and around your eyebrows
Blend VERY well, as the powder has been sat on your face for a while, so it will not move easily
After this, apply a gold/bronze tone highlighter on the tip of your nose, on your cheek bones, your brow bone and cupids bow
Apply in moderation and blend slightly with finger to avoid looking ashy
Now use setting spray (holding it not too close to your face) over your face 3-4 times
Add more highlighter to cupids bow if needed
Apply Vaseline/lip balm for moisture
Apply clear lip gloss
Investment Pieces Every Woman Should Own 💐🤍
Hey cuties! Here are some investment pieces that every woman should own. These are things that probably cost a bit more but in the long run the quality and reliability will last you forever. Now I don’t have all of these yet but I am in the process of saving up for good quality versions of all these products. These are things that you can have for a life time.
Simple Black heels
Perfect for any outfit, from job interviews to dates.
Get a nice pair of leather heels that fit well. Once fully broken in they will become the perfect shoes for any more formal occasions.
Simple 2-3inch heel fits pretty much any occasion.
A good quality blow dryer.
Very necessary for keeping your hair well kept and presentable.
I imagine a diffuser would be the best if you have curly hair (I don’t have curly hair so feel free to correct me and leave suggestions for reliable hair tools for all hair types)
Something that works quickly and gives you a reliable style without too much heat damage.
A genuine wool coat.
Let’s face it regular puffers are warm but can ruin your outfit completely.
So buy a high quality wool coat that fits you well that can go with any winter outfits. You obviously can still have the puffer but it’s always nice to have pieces that add to your outfit.
A perfume scent that you love
Having a signature sent is just so iconic.
I learned this from the biggest icon in my life my 100 year old great grandma who still uses her Chanel 5 everyday just as she has for 80 years. (Such a baddie for real)
I am currently in the process of trying to find a perfume that I love and want to wear for the rest of my life.
Red lipstick
I feel like people hate on red lipstick purely because they haven’t find the right red shade for them.
Red is one of those colors that if you get the wrong undertone it looks clownish and not chic.
I recommend spending some time finding the right undertone and red. And then hoping it never gets discontinued.
While you don’t need it all the time it can be such a perfect touch to have red lips
Simple jewelry that doesn’t tarnish.
I am one of those people that wears the same necklace and earrings everyday. The reason I do this is because I invested in pieces that wouldn’t tarnish and now I have instant outfit upgrades that are comfortable without leaving my skin green.
I do add other jewelry on top but I think having simple jewelry that you can add more fun pieces to as the outfit calls for it is so necessary.
When I was thinking of this list I was also thinking of things that you might pass down to your daughters. You wouldn’t pass down your SHEIN dress but you probably would pass down a good quality dress. Obviously these are expensive I have like 2 things from this list but I am currently using this list as a way of motivating me to use my money wisely. I have a system set up so I use these as a reward for good spending habits and putting away money.

Both self worth and empathy for yourself are important to your mental and physical health. But what is the difference between the two?
Self Worth - Defined
Self worth is understanding your importance as a person. Understanding that you can accept and give love, and knowing your values.
Self Empathy - Defined
Empathy for yourself is slightly different and can be absent when self worth is present. Having empathy for yourself is setting boundaries with you. This includes making promises to yourself and following through with them (ex. I will exercise for an hour… and then actually doing it) and listening to your body and brain when they are communicating (an example of this would be hunger/thirst signals).
How do these feelings work together?
Self worth is a great foundation!! Knowing what you deserve and how you should be treated is meeting your basic needs. Practicing empathy for others is easy, but practicing empathy for yourself will help you build routine and increase productivity. If it’s a statement you wouldn’t say to a friend, don’t say it to yourself, and turn the positive beliefs about your worth into positive actions that reflect how you feel. <3
Becoming Her: You're Already There!
And how do I know this? Because for years, I was my own biggest bully. Healing that part of me is something I'm learning to do one day at a time.
Last night, I had a really good journaling sess for the first time in a while. It hit me: I already am everything I desire to be. I already am my higher self, even if this current "reality" — the 3D — isn’t showing it yet. And so are you!
You might say this way of thinking is "delulu" or "faking it till you make it," which is maaaybe a little true. But your mind literally shapes your perspective.
Example: I could walk up to you right now and compliment your hairstyle. To me, it's one of the coolest things I've seen today — but if you’re not happy with it, you might ignore or brush off my compliment.
You made “my hair sucks” part of your reality, your "truth" — even though no one has bashed your hair.
No one can shape your world/truth unless you let them.
You're in full control of how you react, the career you choose, the pants you wear. You're also in full control of any limitations or beliefs you’ve picked up — whether from yourself or from others.
If someone says you look better in red, that doesn't make it a fact. It doesn't mean every other color suddenly looks bad on you. That’s their perception of you — their world. If you feel like you look better in blue, then you do. Because it’s your world, and you said so.
You say your dream self is kindhearted, soft, confident, healthy — mentally and physically. Okay, now stop imagining a gap between that version and the you now. There’s no gap anymore.
From here on out, no matter what the 3D shows, you are who you just described. Each day and every action — you become softer. You set your first boundary. You feel more at peace because you journaled or meditated this week. And you might think, "This is only the beginning. I’m not there yet."
Thing is, you are.
You’re doing what your higher self would do. You’re shifting.
No matter what your current beliefs are, you have all the power to rewrite them. You made your old beliefs "true," so you can make new ones true too.
And yes, it's absolutely going to feel like lying to yourself at first. But if you've believed in one thing for years, of course it may take just as many to believe in another.
No one's perception of you is you. YOU know who you are.
You shape your reality.
And I wholeheartedly believe that you and I are already everything we need to be — we're just now learning to see it.
xo, Kay 🪽
btw if you've ever seen those videos online which are like "how to give him butterflies" or whatever, stop for a sec. i want you to know that for the right guy; your whole existence will give him butterflies.
you don't have to do anything to get an excited reaction in him, all you need to do is exist. because the right guy will get butterflies from the way you walk, the way you talk, your eyes, when you look at him, when you're even a bit close to him, etc.
