tommy getting cozy on that couch with the tiny blanket, feet uncovered
sleepy voice as he listens to buck tell the story of billy boils, while he barely clings to consciousness, he still recognizes when buck says the same thing twice
and then the next morning he lets buck sleep in while he prepares breakfast in bed armchair for him
and as buck wakes up, sits up and takes off his hood we can see another blanket on the couch that wasn't there the night before... looks like someone got up during the night and saw his boyfriend covered with the tiniest blanket in the world and got him a second one š„°
Sad no 911 day to those who are mourning it š
he is so shaped
lipsš«
I love him!!!!
TOMMY KINARD | you already know that Iām interested.
welcome back to pookie watch. last night demonstrated a lack of pookieness despite the forecast. we look ahead to next thursday where pookie is almost guaranteed.
NEW LOU NEW LOU!!!!!!!!!
Most of the time, I'm pretty confident that Buck (Evanā£) and Tommy will find each other again because so much point to that!š But then I think about how this is THE season of missed storyline opportunities on 911 aaand I'm back to questioning my own reasoning.š And repeat, ad nauseam...
Stop gaslighting me, Tim!
ah anon i get it! me, iām too hopeful for my own good and after the initial shock and upset of the breakup, i immediately found hope (one could call it cope lool) in the idea that buck and tommy could very well get back together. really, the only thing that made us think so definitively on the contrary were the interviews and after revisiting them with a clear head, i realized that they donāt make anything very final in the way it felt immediately after the breakup. and for me, it always comes back to how open-ended they left the breakup in the narrative. and not just open-ended like it could happen one day but one that leaves a lot of room for a make-up and reconciliation sooner rather than later. like. if buck and tommy hadnāt essentially declared their love for each other during the breakup and if tommyās reason for breaking was something other than the fear of getting his heart broken one day, i think iād be less confident. but their breakup, to me, only further established that they really are it for each other. in fact, the breakup made me believe in their love and want for each other even more so. and i think if tim had wanted to really end them for good good - and leave tommy as buckās āfirstā and not his last - he wouldāve went about it in a way where the breakup wouldāve ended on more positive note. still sad but like - it was time to move on. but the fact that it was sooo devastating and heartbreaking ā¦making us care about buck and tommy even moreā¦.iād like to think that maybe it was intentional. especially when i go back to what tim said when he was talking about why he likes to break couples up:
obv this is mostly just my spec and feelings but i am hopeful and will remain that way until the end of 8B <3
"they are still learning and figuring things out about each other and what a relationship might or could look like" means they are getting to know each other and not all relationships work the same, so they have to figure out together how theirs is going to work. plus, buck's never been in a relationship with a man before, he has to figure that out too.
if there's not a big time jump, they have been seeing each other for less than 6 months. in that time, they dealt with buck figuring it out his sexuality, chimney being missing, bobby almost dying and gerrard coming back. all that while both have 24-hour shift that don't necessarily align every week.
the begging was rushed because they had a 10 episode season, but with 18 episodes, they can take their time to develop the relationship and show us all the milestones, which i think it's way better than just telling us they are already set.
...and for you.
