STOP. moment of gratitude for those precious times of breathing from your nostrils when you don't have a stuffy nose
I think completely by accident, members of the JLA realize that making Bruce hold their baby pretty much guarantees the child will pass out and sleep soundly. And when Bruce asks them where they think they're going they tell him which fridge the milk is in and remind him he doesn't sleep anyways. But they do, and desperately need some.
Also it's really funny before the kid falls asleep to watch Batman trying to talk while a baby grabs his face and interrupts consistently until Bruce looks at it.
The next time Jason says Bruce did nothing when he died, I want him to be cut off with the declaration that Bruce did. Bruce did everything. Superman almost wasn't able to hold him back.
Bruce wanted the Joker dead. He shot down his damn helicopter even with Bruce still in it. He wanted to see the Joker's body and finally know his boy didn't have to worry about another innocent person being caught in the Joker's crossfire. Even from the grave, he knew Jason would worry. He'd never stopped. Not once. Not even broken and bleeding did Jason stop worrying about someone else (even driven wild with Pit Madness, he still had worried about the kids in Crime Alley).
I need Jason to know how much Bruce loved him, to the point of almost starting WWIII. I need him to know the desperation in Bruce's eyes. How his hands shook and it wasn't with the horror of seeing himself sink further into the dark of The Bat. I need Jason to know the day he died was the day a piece of Bruce died with him. I need Superman to tell Jason about how little he'd recognized his friend, trying to talk sense into the man everyone had known as the Pillar; The rock in the typhoon. I need Tim to tell Jason how the scars got on his hands; From catching Bruce's gauntlet too often. "That's enough." He'd say, sounding older than he was. The gauntlets were sharp (to cut rope in the event of capture, or tanglement). The purse snatcher would be in critical condition but he'd live.
I need Jason to know Bruce did everything. Even things he shouldn't have done. Things he would be ashamed of later on, praying to the shadows of his room that his sons would heal. Not forgive him, but heal. (Bruce never quite learned how to heal, did he? He only knew how to fight. All his kids could tell you that. Fighting for them or against them, chasing back the nightmares or becoming his own. Bruce knew how to fight in many ways, but he never got the hang of looking at his demons and letting them go.)
I need Jason to know Bruce loved him.
Because I’m actually so stoked about the new Batman and Robin issue DR. WAYNE‼️‼️
I’m so happy about the possibility that Damian who comes from a place of violence and murder grows up to save people and not through violence as well but through medicine and empathy
“your rent should be a third of your income” well wouldn’t that be nice. wouldn’t it. lower the rent pussy
In Bruce's phone, he keeps the contact photos for all his kids as their baby pictures (or the closest approximation that he has).
Dick's is a photo of him when he'd first designed his Robin costumes, smiling ear to ear as he proudly showed off his first hand-sewn prototype.
Jason's is a picture Alfred got of the boy sitting on Bruce's shoulders while they went over a case.
Tim is him fast asleep in the middle of taking notes on his first real mission (he wanted to impress Bruce really bad).
Damian is a polaroid he got from Talia of him when he was about a year old, teething on a mango seed as he sat on the floor of his mother's room.
Cass is entirely blacked out except for her big bright eyes that can be seen in the darkness-- Bruce thinks it's the cutest photo ever.
Even Babs has hers set to a photo of her with her first computer, grinning happy as she probably hacked into a federal database somewhere. He got that photo from Jim.
Likewise, of course, Alfred's (very bareboned) smartphone that he barely uses has Bruce's contact set with a photo of him playing in the snow as a little boy.
Something I find very interesting about this CEO assassination is that the guy who did it has basically become an American hero.
They're probably quite worried about what will happen when they catch this guy, especially with the level of public support he has. If they catch him alive and he gets to air his grievances, he could unite the entire country against the private healthcare system. It could go to trial and result in jury nullification, which would basically send a message to the American public that catching a rich body comes without consquences.
If they kill him to keep his mouth shut, I'd say people will burn cities to the ground, and it could potentially provoke even more anger against private health insurance. In a powder keg, it only takes one person lighting the match.
I know it sounds over the top, but a figurehead is a powerful thing, and that's what this shooter is. The rich understand it. That's why Blue Cross just magically decided they were going to pay for anesthesia again. Those dead-eyed psychopaths were going to take everything they could until someone shot that guy and that's the gospel truth.
Keep the hate fire burning. Watching their fear is the closest I've come to knowing joy since the Bush administration.
when he tells you to "take a step up the staircase to adulthood" but then keeps terrorizing you for funsies as if he's some petty teenager and a troll... oh, wait, he is exactly that lmaoooo
p.s. someone help nirei, he's so done with suo's bullshit im crying
STOP MAKING IT BORING! Yeah, Bruce, stop making the life and death training BORING lmao I love this child.
