Women Can’t Make Satirical Pieces Without Every Self Important Loser Insisting Every Word Is Sincere

women can’t make satirical pieces without every self important loser insisting every word is sincere ignorance or simply going “not funny (would be funnier if it were a man)”. even among progressives it’s weirdly common to think women are not intelligent or funny enough to do satire or even just a bit with deadpan delivery

Nitpicky hyperonline post

Tbh it’s a bit weird when I see Radfem posts about the trans-ification of tomboys that say that they’re ’turning them into men’. Because you know, they’re not? It’s a quibble but it’s worth remembering when that 20 year old draws random vaguely masculine female character with top surgery scars, that isn’t an act of sex bending. Mind, there’s a long history of sex bending in fandom spaces- it’s a fictional space so it’d be really easy to go, ‘this is x as a male’, but they go out of their way to keep the character female and advertise cosmetic surgery as a way to make them ‘more themselves’. Admittedly this frames the whole thing as deeply sinister- I don’t think people saying ‘hormones would save them’ have actually thought about what that statement implies or who it benefits.

White People Like It So We Just Gotta Keep Rewriting History Like They Invented It, Right? I’ve Also

White people like it so we just gotta keep rewriting history like they invented it, right? I’ve also heard people say conversations about hummus and bubble tea are “the whitest conversations ever.” Are y’all serious?

SNAPS FOR KRISTA SUH!!!

It does worry me sometimes when I’m going through blogs and find a kid in Radfem spaces. I don’t interact with them and but I sincerely hope these girls are staying safe. Never post your face or body, always use a pseudonym, if someone’s making them feel unsafe or sexually harassing them have an adult they can talk to, know they don’t owe strangers anything etc.

Honestly if someone doesn’t want to date me because I’m black… Fine? Why should I give a shit, there are plenty of people who’d date me and not give a shit. If it came down to some gross secondary beliefs about black females, than the problem isn’t ’they don’t want to date me :(‘ it’s ’they believe black females are dirty’ or whatever and that’s the thing we’d have to talk about. The dating part would be irrelevant. And if someone ever felt forced to ‘At least give a black female a chance’ it’d be REALLY uncomfortable and objectifying. Like, this has nothing to do with me or how interesting I am, you’re here because you don’t want to feel racist. I could be replaced with any nonwhite person. I’m just a prop here. It seems kind of fucked up why do people act like they want that?

it somewhat irritates me when people talk about how "masculinity is encouraged in girls, but femininity is discouraged in boys."

yes, it is more socially acceptable for a woman to present in a masculine manner than for a man to dress/act femininely. but that is not the same as masculinity being encouraged. tomboys are tolerated as young girls- but once you've hit pre-teen/teenage years, the expectation is that you femme up and drop any masculine characteristics. masculinity in girls is allowed as a childhood phase, but it is by no means encouraged, especially as you begin to mature and enter adolescence. anyone who thinks that masculine women are treated favorably in society has never met an actually masculine woman

Dear god, I thought shitty modern art would stop at "banana taped to a wall" but now it's escalated to "keep three piglets caged in an art gallery and make them slowly starve to death in front of audiences".

they've been doing that sort of thing for a while, there was one maybe ten years ago where someone displayed a bunch of individual goldfish in powered blenders that the audience could choose to turn on or not

the thing about this sort of stuff though is that the audience response and the audience response TO the audience response is also part of the art, so "me beating your ass in an art gallery for liquifying a fish in front of me" is now a commentary on the the place of individual choice in a larger society.

also someone broke in and stole those piglets, which is an even funnier response, because now this art piece is a commentary on general human decency and there's nothing the artist can do about it

This whole Natalie B situation shows how people prioritize the comfort of bio men over women's safety.

They will always attack and wish death on women who don't want men in their spaces but never pay attention to how these trans-identified men harass women in women's spaces.

I’m not the one who compared Trans People to shifters, you opened up the idea that your ideas of the world are ridiculous enough that they should by default ally with you because weirdos got to stick together. Both you and most Radfems believe trans people’s existence should be treated more sincerely than that, the comparisons were calling that bluff.

It’s worth noting here that you’re making a transmedicalist argument and I wonder if you actually are one of the ones left or it’s one of those cases where it’s more convenient to say it’s what you believe. If you believe that the definition of transgender should be related to actually physically engaging in the medical activity of transitioning to gain traits related to the opposite sex instead of just saying, ‘this is the thing that I am’ than you’re correct that the therian argument is not applicable. I think it’s useful to have a name for the class of people who were and are oppressed on the basis of possessing a body with a layout to produce large gametes, that is a group of people who exist and are at risk for further violence on the basis of this reproductive role. As this role is called ‘female’ in every other mammalian context, I think Female Human is a fine term for them. If transmedicalists want to keep woman to mean ‘Anyone with secondary sex characteristics that resembles the other sex’, they can do that but all things considered in 2025, I doubt the value in denying the existence of primary sex characteristics entirely. I also don’t see the value in separating prisons based on secondary sex characteristics.

Maladaptive Daydreaming Is More Real Than Gender Identity, And It’s A-okay To Tell People To Kill Themselves

maladaptive daydreaming is more real than gender identity, and it’s a-okay to tell people to kill themselves

honestly - TERF arguments are entirely horseshit. they don’t care about science, they don’t really care about women’s safety. it’s a regressive alt right movement in the garb of a feminist
