love the new ghibli protagonist. what a little freak (affectionate). he has NO chill. a kid shoves him at the start of the movie and he instantly tackles them and proceeds to fight his entire class. he bashed his head in with a rock and tried to walk it off. the bird in his garden was doing funny things and he instantly starts making plans to murder it. was ready to beat the shit out of that pelican. i just know if he was allowed to curse he would have called that heron a bitch ass mother fucker. mahito was NOT fucking around.

This tree is an example of a gemel, or two conjoined trees that fused together in a process called inosculation - essentially, self-grafting. This is pretty common in thin-barked trees like apple trees, blackthorn, beech, and olives, but pretty rare in thick-barked Douglas fir trees like this one. This tree has a lot of damage from boring beetles, possibly by Douglas fir beetles, Denroctonus pseudotsugae (I could be wrong, though). Being fused together might have weakened the tree, making it susceptible to beetle attack.Â
wake up honey new crossover just dropped
saw it on tt and idk how to feel
cruelty is so easy. youre not special for choosing it
okay so there's NO WAY in hell that Silco, Vander and Felicia never got themselves in a life or death situation before the bridge incident THEREFORE I have this fun little foreshadowing headcanon
So basically baby Felicia initiates a mission that almost gets Silco killed (my boy didn't even want to go) - but he survives by pure luck and immediately forgives Felicia (bc he's a child still and friendships mean more than common sense)
The kick is that Felicia feels so horribly guilty that Silco suggests they keep the whole thing a secret from everyone - including Vander, who was not there when everything happened. Vander never finds out.
