Can anybody tell me who she is?

I “met” her through him online several years ago. She was, by her own description, a “crazy German girl” who’d met and eventually married a Canadian guy. They lived in Canada for awhile, then moved to Germany, where she was a math student.

When the Russian bastards invaded Ukraine, she dropped her life in Germany to help in Ukraine as best she could. She started out as a driver, ferrying supplies and people, dodging horrible roads, trying to avoid landmines and artillery shells.

She signed on as a combat medic working primarily behind the front lines, doing triage work. She fell in love with Ukraine and its people, and decided she needed to do more. So she joined the Ukrainian Army, and basically moved to the front, where she’d been for a year, caring for the wounded. Every now and then she’d post how she was doing, what the war was like, plus reposts from people of her new homeland.

Fortunately, she’d just come off leave and had a last chance to see her husband, her mother, and the Ukrainians she’d met in her year and a half in Ukraine. So at least there’s that.

And now she’s gone.

FUCK YOU, Russia!!! You’ve killed my FRIEND. I’ll try, but I doubt I will be able to ever forgive you. FUCK YOU, republicans, for withholding aid to Ukraine so you can make political points for your Fearless Leader, trump. FUCK YOU, wingnuts, for supporting these clowns while claiming to be “Christians”. (What would JESUS actually SAY and DO about immigration, anyway? Would he turn his back on the less-fortunate like you are?)

I never even knew her real name. To me, she was a hero and her courage inspirational. I can’t *imagine* what her husband is going through right now. Because I feel like I’ve lost a sister.

Thing is, trump isn’t any more of a conservative than a turd is. The only thing he cares about is himself. He’s not pro-life, he’s pro-trump. He’s not pro-second amendment, he’s pro-trump. He’s not pro-Jesus, he’s pro-trump. And it’s unconscionable that after all this time, his minion haven’t figured this out.

When you’re just *naturally* gorgeous, you don’t need surgery or tons of makeup. Here’s Julianne Kissinger, girl next door. And oh how I wish she was.
