YALL IM SCREAMIN IDEK WHAT TO SAY!!! like fuck for real when I started out at the beginning of this year, I never even thought I’d have enough followers to start doing requests. I’ve worked really hard on making this blog something wicked and it means so much to me that my efforts haven’t gone to waste.  Even if we’ve never spoken, every single one of you has helped me push forward and continue to better myself as a writer and a person and I’ve made so many friends that I seriously can’t thank you all enough!! If you want an idea for what you might be getting, here is an example of a scenario, here are examples for a header/icon/wallpaper, and here is an example of a match up!

I’m a 5′1″ female with a caramel/mocha skin tone and dyed red curly hair! I’d say I have a curvy figure, however I wouldn’t say I’m overweight or thin. I have a ENFP personality type and I like to think I’m pretty funny and outgoing. My hobbies include baking, which is also my major, reading comics, doing anything crafty, hanging out outside when the weather is nice, watching movies, and I’m also a huuge dog person. I get distracted very easily, I suck at remembering things, and ‘Dork’ is practically my middle name by now. While I do get antsy if I stay home for too long, I also enjoy spending time just chilling by myself and I looove to nap. I’m also a bit of a hopeless romantic, but I’d never really show it unless I was in a relationship.

Aaah yes...that wonderful time of year..is upon us again.

Early Christmas thots don’t even @ me

This is a sad truth for men. My stepmother was very abusive towards my father, and while he did fight back (with words), it was still hard. And she played the victim and made him out to be the bad guy. I watched this happen for a year. And while things are better now and they got the help they needed, it was still a horrible thing to witness.

Men have emotions to, they have feelings and can be sensitive. I feel horrible knowing that some men are getting abused in a relationship, and if they reach out all they get is laughed at, or told that they are the abuser.

I'm not saying I will, but if I am ever in a relationship and I abuse my boyfriend or husband. Then I pray that someone will stop me and help him. Because I may be a woman, but abuse is abuse; no matter the gender. Because if someone doesn't help, then it could get worse. Because people can die if they stay in an abusive relationship, even men.

Imagine This

Imagine that your partner has been hitting you. Yelling at you. You’ve been married for a few years, you’re both in your 30s, you have a little daughter, and everything you do seems to be wrong. You’ve been made fun of, mocked and belittled by your partner. 

But you need them, because you can’t take another failed relationship. You can’t be alone again, and they’ve got you convinced that all the beatings and scratches and scrapes are your fault.

You tell your friends and they laugh. No matter how many bruises or cuts you show them, it’s still your fault, so you hide them. You feel trapped, but you don’t feel like you can escape. You’re convinced that you’re just locking yourself in.

And you see online one day an article. Someone else went through what you have. They got the cuts, the bruises, the scratches. You see that here is hope and freedom from these beatings. The physical and emotional pain can go away, there is someone there to help!

So you write down a list of 10 abuse victim hotlines, for people being abused. And you call them one by one.

If you were a man:

6 of those hotlines would refuse to help because of your gender.

3 of those hotlines would refer you to or give you a number to a hotline dealing with people that abuse and are looking to stop.

1 of those hotlines would help.

Out of those 10, 2 of those would also laugh at you or say you deserved it.

If you were a woman:

10 of those hotlines would help.

Abuse is very scary, but what seems scarier to you; being abused, reaching out and getting the help you need, or being abused, reaching out and getting laughed and turned away over 60% of the time because of who you are?

Only 8% of men who call abuse hotlines find them ‘very helpful’ and get the assistance they need.

Women can abuse. Men can be abused. Men need equality and help too.

i know tumblr doesn’t give a SHIT when things happen in countries outside the “most popular ones” (such as the usa & england). it’s true, don’t lie to me. y’all don’t give A FUCK. not every issue and problem in said countries gets the appropriate exposure but in general shit shows up on the news WORLD FREAKING  WIDE. you set up donations, you help out, your spread the word, you say “pray for x”……

southern europe is burning. 

my country is burning.

people are dying - at home, on the road, trying to run away, in their cars.

yesterday my country had 300 active fires.

people are losing EVERYTHING they own.

i have a friend that is on a train right now passing through places that have been burnt to the ground and she says the smoke is so intense it’s getting inside the train and she can barely breathe.

and yet, even though several people (myself included) have been trying to bring awareness to what has been happening in southern europe… what we get from most of you, those not part of the countries suffering, is silence. we don’t ask for money, we don’t ask for shit other than a reblog to spread awareness… something you can delete in 24/48hrs if you wish. 

i don’t know what to tell you. i’m angry. i’m frustrated. i’m disappointed. i feel like i’m screaming into the void. “a reblog does nothing” - you know that’s a damn lie, you know exposure always helps, you know people start paying attention when posts on social media become popular. my country in particular is a small one, we get ZERO exposure. y’all are only starting to figure out we even fucking exist bc of the shit we’ve been winning lately. 

but hell, if the EU doesn’t give a shit, why should some user on tumblr dot com?
