i’m left heartbroken and disgusted by the events that take place in this world. it leaves me questioning the existence of beings. what hurts me more is seeing how quiet this community is on the issue. you have platforms with a 1,000+ followers and willingly choose to stay silent.

please educate yourselves and take a look at what’s happening in palestine. i have friends with families who are fighting for their lives right now. these people have been fighting oppression for decades. use your privilege for something. use your platform for something. please i’m begging you. just because it isn’t directly effecting you doesn’t give you the excuse of staying silent.

a reminder that if you choose to stay silent in the face of oppression, you have chosen the side of the oppressor.

That’s also propagating sex shaming, body shaming, and a physical ideal on women and suggesting that they aren’t good enough for Harry to want to fuck. It’s implying inherently something about you is not what Harry would be attracted to enough to want sex out of you, again propagating the idea that he only dates and fucks models and we don’t know his whole sexual history! It also implies he’d only want you for sex or that you only want him for sex which is also pretty damaging considering women are groomed from a young age to be pleasing to men sexually and men are trained to use women sexually to prove their own inherent worthiness as a male. Beauty is a status symbol because humanity is atrocious. Also, they don’t know who they’re saying that to, could be someone with low self esteem, BDD or an ED and it could trigger them. Comments that inherently shame related to sex or the body can be very hurtful to women because of internalized misogyny against our own bodies and being continually held to ideal set by men. This internalized misogyny is what makes women hold each other to unrealistic standards more than men, because those who fit the idea benefit (think models). ** look up panopticism by Foucault and then think about how that applies to advertising to young women** Most of us hold some sort of pain related to our sexuality or our looks. Manifesting 101

1. Know what you want: It doesn’t have to be super specific but it can be! Define the experience you want as much (or as little) as you want. This is just a mental activity, you can create a list if you want but it’s just to know what you want. Take it as a brainstorming session.

(Optional but in the long run will make things easier)

1.2 What’s holding you back?: Write every single reason why it couldn’t work, let it all out. Now realize this are stories, try to find their source (did your mother tell you so? Or maybe it’s because things like that don’t happen to people like you?) either way, it’s bullshit. Turn every limiting belief into an affirmation. Write them down, keep them on your phone and read them twice per day for a week (minimum). As you read them make sure to feel what you’re saying. This will help you to create new thought patterns.

2. Speak it into existence!: Now comes the fun part. How do you want to manifest it? Maybe script everything as you want it to happen, visualize your outcome, say “wouldn’t it be nice if…” and forget about it, play and pretend you already have it, do the 55x5 method or maybe the 2 cup method, create a vision board…the possibilities are endless and everything works as good! Choose the one that calls to you right now and put all your focus and energy into it. Make it fun, make it easy, there’s no way you can mess it up.

3. Let it come to you: As a lovely follower said the other day, your order is on its way! There’s no need to stress about when or how it will come. Just know that you said what you wanted and now it will find its way towards you. Think of it as an amazon package. When you keep refreshing the tracking page seems like it never arrives but if you keep doing your own things an enjoy your life then seems like that package came super quickly.

He can never resist it, you know that and use it against him pretty often.

“Why are you so obsessed with it anyway?” he asks sighing.

“Because I’m dying to see you with a good, smudged smoky-eye look, just like the rest of the world!” you stomp your foot against the checkered tile. You’ve been trying to get him to let you do his makeup for the longest time, but you just saw an edited picture of him floating around the internet where someone put dark eyeshadow on him and he looked so damn hot, you just have to see it for real.

“What do I get in return?” he cockily smirks at you, tilting his head to the side.

“I don’t know, what do you want?” you shrug. You watch him think for a little before his grin widens.
