I love them so much they’re so fucking fine🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Never got around to the masquerade ball day of TimeBomb Week, but now I have.
Please go watch Sinners NOW
I can't get over how Sinners is such a rich text on assimilation and whiteness and the dangers of "civility" and music as a way to look both forward and back
And it's also a phenomenal vampire movie where a lot of hot people get covered in blood and there's a B plot about eating out girls
The lady doth protest too much, methinks.
Mai secretly loves hugs.
Ty Lee: Is something burning? Azula, leaning seductively on the counter: Just my desire for you. Ty Lee: Azula, the toaster is literally on fire.
Listen, I love Tobias but Cassandra and Silco look damn good together😂😂 Also, taking into account the theory that Silco is a councilor in the AU, they defo have the most heated arguments in the court.
But in the regular verse—an underground kingpin with a preppy councilor!! That fuckin dynamic goes hard, ngl.
i have once again inflicted water upon myself.
It's our boy, Lisa.
Something i love about the apothecary diaries is what the author makes of the late emperor's character. Because Natsu Hyuuga made him a complex character rather than a one dimensional villain and still made sure we would never forget his crimes
Yes, he is a beautiful man, with mental health issues and either PTSD autism or OCD. He is a marital rape victim. But even with all that he is NOT your blorbo. He is a pedophile, he destroyed the lives of countless girls who were all forced to stay imprisoned in the rear palace for the rest of their lives. He was under the control of his mother and scared of adult women but he still made the conscious choice to rape hundreds of prepubescent girls. He is a victim in some ways, but the sheer number of victims HE created is never forgotten even when we explore the complexity of his character.
So many male characters' crimes are forgiven because they were handsome or tragic. Natsu Hyuuga doesn't allow her readers to do that.
So writers joke a lot about "drinking the tears of our readers", but I want to be so honest with you when I tell you that making you cry isn't our real goal. Making you feel is.
Kicking your feet? Giggling? Can't stop smiling? And yes, crying? Feeling anything, everything. That's our goal. That means we did The Job.
Definitely gonna write something about them
she rly dgaf…
