The Moon Spirit (Yue)

Yue gets her glow-up (it's a bad joke I know XD), and becomes the moon spirit. I followed the show's lead on the shape and fabric change for Yue's transformation. I looked at some of the famous illustrations of Chinese Fairy Maidens/Deities (which take the Tang Dynasty style fashion and extra draping and exaggerate it into a mythical lady) and added back in shapes, motifs and textures from Yue's previous design.

could explain why Azula freaked out when she bit on a cherry pit in the finale

cuz that was the ultimate reminder that they weren’t kids anymore, that her big brother wasn’t around anymore, that he had betrayed her, left her and that he wasn’t there for the most important day of her life
