Hey Eddheads! Tom here. So Elliot is finishing off the documentary and was wondering if a few of you would like to illustrate something for it?

Basically there’s a section where I talk about how Edd and I joked about getting him to record a bunch of random lines of dialogue if we knew he wasn’t going to make it and then I’d just write episodes around them after he was gone. Well, as it happens, I have a few unused lines from a video I did with Edd before he passed and we thought it’d be cool to include them (alongside your illustrations) to show what it would’ve been like if we’d actually done that.

The lines are:

THAT’S A SHARK!

I’VE LONGED FOR THIS DAY!

BACK TO THE PROPERTY MARKET!

If any of you fancy drawing one or all of these, as if they were scenes in an actual eddisode, that’s be amazing. Go crazy. Make up an entire scene based around that one line, have the other characters in the background. It’s up to you! No need for speech bubbles or anything though, just imagine it’s a still from an eddisode (let’s say 1280px x 720px).

There’s no deadline here since it’s gonna be a few months until the documentary comes out. Just have fun and our favourites will go into the documentary (along with a credit, of course!). Make sure to tag anything you upload with #eddsworld - I check the tag on Tumblr, Twitter, and DeviantART regularly.

This is episode 4. There’s 26 total. I don’t wanna give anything away for anyone who hasn’t seen it, but this silly show actually ends up developing a really fun plot with episodes that gradually increase in length and complexity. it’s SO entertaining and funny and charming and you should definitely watch it if you haven’t already

how i feel knowing eddsworld is preying on its neurodivergent fanbase that they frequently mock and make fun of selling merchandise they ethically shouldnt be because the man in question doesnt want to be involved with the series and odds of them being in contact with him whatsoever for permission to release it are next to null because he’s been in hiding for the last 13 years but at least i get the ugly tord figurine next to my edd
