I Have A Lot Of Feelings About Ereinion Gil-galad Last High King Of The Noldor

Hi, everyone! I'm Lady of Lindon, and I'm a Tolkien enthusiast. I also happen to enjoy writing, and I'll be uploading my stories here.

I also welcome anyone to request drabbles, headcanons or oneshots from me, so long as they're from Tolkien. I'll update this post on what I can write about within Tolkien, so request away!

What I will write:

Tolkien elves + Ainur (Valar and Maiar, I won't write for Morgoth though)

OC/reader inserts (for the OC inserts, please provide me information about the OC and whatever would be relevant to the story request)

The Ring of Barahir? Given to Barahir by Finrod and passed on to Aragorn.

The Three Elven Rings? Made from Finrod's dagger to protect the elves.

Finrod himself? Died protecting Beren from Sauron's Werewolves.

In conclusion: Finrod is the force protecting Middle-Earth from Sauron.

It’s that time of year where I rewatch everything, so I painted some Elrond to get in the spirit. ✨my favorite.

The recent news about the extended edition reminded me that there’s meant to be more disrespectful dwarves at Rivendell stuff in there and I really hope it’s like an anarchist version of their raid on Bag End’s pantry, with Lindir being run ragged by Mahal’s Lil’ Assholes and their vibrant array of behavioural problems.

“Master Dwarf, please, the celebrated tapestries of Imladris are not for wiping your boots on.”

“Traditionally one writes on paper, not on walls, and with writing implements, not every weapon you own.”

“WE AGREE TO YOUR TERMS AND MENU SUGGESTIONS, PLEASE LET THE FLAUTIST GO.”

“Earlier, when I clearly said, DO NOT LAUNDER YOUR SOILED UNDER-CLOTHES IN OUR FORBIDDEN SACRED SPRINGS, you nodded. You nodded as if you understood what I was saying. I do not think you did.”

While Bilbo sits in the corner, sympathizing, “Just wait ‘til you see what they’ve done to your bathrooms.”

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with Jack Lowden’s Sauron.

The Facebook group and Reddit page I've found that don't tolerate the kinds of people who post endless poop gifs are great and all but there's one thing that's starting to frustrate me and it's that it feels like everyone is SO MEAN about Jack Lowden's Mairon.

I keep seeing he isn't alluring/beautiful enough and he's not giving off Dark Lord vibes. But he just lost his masterboyfriend/tormenter and got an unexpected promotion. He's trying to stamp his authority but not doing it with quite enough ruthlessness and confidence to prevent what happens to him next. He's meant to be Sauron before he's had a few centuries of literally steaming with rage as a puddle of goo-worms. I like the theory that in the beginning Halbrand was Mairon flirting with being good again, until he gave in to the temptation to go back to his old ways - except this time he's much more confident and skilled having had time to think about where he went wrong last time.

And maybe this isn't his ONLY First Age/Early Second Age form and he did look more alluring at times but he doesn't need to put on that sort of performance at that moment in time, because he's on the losing side speaking to his fellow losers.

Having said that I don't think Jack Lowden is ugly so I don't know what people want? Maybe he's not as dainty looking as people usually imagine Mairon but...shapeshifter remember?

Idk, yes Halbrand/Annatar is hot but I just love pathetic Ginger Mairon and his sad wee kitty ears.

now onto your question about using my art as a pfp: that's absolutely fine! by the time i'm answering this it's likely a bit late already, but i hope this clears things up in the long run. im absolutely ok with anyone using my art as pfps/icons, just so long as you remember to credit me, don't claim as own, dont use for AI training, etc etc.... hope that clears things up, and sorry again for taking so long to see this!
