Every election until he dies is going to be January 6. You get that, right? He’s never going to leave. He will never follow the law. He will never uphold the Constitution.

He is a criminal. He is a rapist. He is corrupt to the core. He is a fascist. He is evil and stupid and is the same sundowning old man we saw during the campaign. He’s still the liar who went on and on about people eating pets. He’s still the leader of the coup. If America truly believed in the lies they teach us about our history and our government, he would be in prison right now, for the rest of his putrescent life.

None of this was a secret. The stupid fucking idiots and the deeply evil racists who voted for this piece of shit knew it, and they voted for him, anyway. A lot of them voted specifically because they knew that.

I hate how often some (typically abled) people will go “well, if you can’t [get a specific support], then what?” when it comes to disabilities. As if it’s a “gotcha” moment. And then act like you’re exaggerating when you answer that question honestly.

Disabled people often die from a lack of support. A lot of disability aids are not a luxury, but a basic need in order to live.

“Well what happens if—” people die. People hurt themselves. People hurt others. Disabled people don’t magically become abled if our needs aren’t met.

If a bedbound quadriplegic is caught in a housefire, and there’s nobody there to save them, they’ll probably die. They won’t magically become able-bodied out of sheer will.

If a nonspeaking/nonverbal autistic is denied access to alternative methods of communication, they’ll suffer in silence. They won’t spontaneously become capable of speech.

Disabled people are disabled all the time. Our disabilities don’t go away just because they’re inconvenient, or if we’re in danger.

FDA warning letters are awesome. you can tell how pissed off some of the people writing them are. a few highlights of the dozen or two letters I read today:

when one company found out an inspection was happening, they deleted a ton of files related to manufacturing. when asked why they deleted those files, they said they simply did not want to talk about their contents with the inspector

a company had dripping pipes on manufacturing equipment that said it was clean and ready to use. they said it was fine because that manufacturing equipment was not being used. the inspector watched it get used

a website selling oxy without a prescription

if you put on full sterile garb with your bare hands and before putting on gloves it is not fucking sterile

one company saying they test their water for contaminants to make sure their water is being filtered correctly. the FDA inspector then pointed out their water tested positive for contaminants dozens of times and still used it in manufacturing
