I managed to find a copy of the book at my nans house, after scowering every nook and crany that she could possibly hide it in. Therefore, I felt as though I must read it, for there would be nothing lost or gained. If anything I would just find a few knowledgeable things and so on, that I didn't know before.
So far, I have read the first chapter of the book, as well as the Preface, and I am thoroughly invested. I can not find the time to put the book down, it seems, it's very informative on aspects of science, with diagrams and formulae, as well as his upbringing and his parents upbring. I am greatly impressed!
I may do a seperate post where I do a chapter review, and then do a chapter review each time I've finished one. Or I'll read the whole entire book and do an indepth review of the book as a whole...maybe. We'll see.
Dear Alan Turing / Christopher Morcom fans and enjoyers.
I'm wondering if "Alan Turing: The Enigma" is worth it as someone who is looking for information more about Christopher Morcom. I'm told it's one of the best, if only, biographies that go into a bit more detail about Alan's friendship and love for Christopher, but I'm not sure if it's worth it!
Should I buy the book?
Additionally, if anyone has any other recommendations for legitimate places I can get a bit more information about Christopher Morcom, I would love to know!
I know it's limited due to his early passing, but even things like the letters Alan wrote to Mrs Morcom, I'd be interested in seeing, just anything that's got a bit more information about Christopher as a person.
Thanks!
(I've read the Sherborn Boarding School Archive on him and his Boarding house and what it says about him and Turing, and Turing's page and Boarding house. And I've seen a various few things hear and there on the internet. But yeh, any books, or articles anything is greatly appreciated!)
Jonny: Are you okay?

Jonny: *Picks up an onion* What the fuck did you say to Chris?
