Something I made in a post that I think'll be lost in the texts + expanded a bit more

These panels are chronological events following AFO's pursuit of Yoichi's Factor.

AFO could tell if people were related through a Quirk. AFO and OFA also are connected to each other. In Kamino, AFO could confidently tell All Might that OFA had been passed on, so all that All Might had left were leftover embers.

When AFO killed Kudo, he asked where Yoichi was. He knew Kudo wasn't the holder of Yoichi's Factor at that time.

Below are three panels of Bruce (right to left). Bruce fought, AFO killed him, and looked away in disinterest.

When he beat down Bruce, I believe he already had a sense that Bruce didn't hold the Factor anymore. That's why, rather than yell in his face to figure out where it is and interrogate for a long time, he pulled up his corpse to inspect him better.

Bruce's corpse isn't resisting anything. Look at his feet; AFO literally dragged him. Bruce is already dead. Yet he's looking for something from him.

Bruce doesn't have anything for him. Nothing AFO wants.

When he looks away, he's dismissing Bruce, because Bruce doesn't hold Yoichi. AFO is wondering where Yoichi is, because he knows now that he's out there somewhere. Thus the pensive look to the wind.

After Bruce is killed, AFO and Garaki meet for the first time. Shinomori has Yoichi at this time, and AFO never comes close to him, so AFO is lost. He doesn't have any leads, and Yoichi has vanished.

Now that he knows Yoichi can transfer, it's possible for Yoichi to be kept out of his reach for the rest of his life. So meeting Garaki and having access to Life Force gives AFO more time to search.

Yoichi is still missing for 18 years though, because Shinomori is in hiding. AFO couldn't find him during the Fourth's turn.

This is why, when he encounters Banjo, the Fifth and active wielder of OFA [Yoichi], AFO is smiling.

It's been a long time, but Yoichi's in reach again. He knows where he is now. And this is the first time he's encountered the current holder.

Thus his shock.

[Yet... you never behave as I wish.]

It was the first time a Quirk wouldn't let itself be stolen. This was AFO's first encounter with this wall: it doesn't transfer without the holder's consent, and requires willpower stronger than all the holders combined to override that.

The holder is never going to give him that consent. To override the collective willpower, he's going to need something greater.

Meanwhile, look at Banjo's arms. Shinomori is the catalyst to tip OFA over the edge, that an unprepared vessel will be destroyed by how strong the Quirk is.

Banjo's arms are both messed up below the shoulder, just like Midoriya used to be. And like Midoriya uses Blackwhip to reinforce himself and stay standing, Banjo uses Blackwhip to hold his fist / arm together. His hand is being wrapped to stay in a fist.

(What I think is) The reason the limbs turn red, and then purple, from breakage, is a matter of blood vessels. Small, itty bitty, fragile things.

Using OFA breaks the whole area, from bones to blood vessels, causing internal bleeding. Thus the redness. But breaking those vessels again in a second go turns the area purple, because it causes instantaneous internal bruising.

But En wasn't ripped apart by using OFA. There's a cut on his thumb that lines up with the path of destruction; AFO sliced him in half. Otherwise, he wouldn't have that cut if it were just OFA.

It's hidden by the text in [... you never behave as I wish], but depending on where you see this chapter, you can see he got cut on the thumb. It's clearer where we see Nana take his hair from him, in [I only want... to make you mine!]

I have a post in drafts about En being cut in half rather than it being because of OFA, but I also hit an image limit, so I'm gonna end here. Ta.

Elara Voss: Voss is quiet and prefers to listen to and analyze her surroundings rather than talk. She’s smart but cold, she rarely speaks to anyone and doesn’t care to follow rules. She isn’t close to anyone other than her parents and doesn’t want to be, she knows that if she grows attached there's always the risk of losing that person and she doesn’t want to go through that. If she ever heard the song “Ruthlessness” from Epic the Musical, then she’d agree with how ruthlessness is mercy and it’s better to be cold and get rid of a possible enemy than try to save them. Her love language is quality time and just silently enjoying others company, but she’ll never admit she likes being around friends. Her favorite way to hang out with people is simply to just be near them.

Elara Voss: Elara was raised by jedi before the empire attacked when she was four and she was hidden away and raised by farmers on Lothal, later when she was nineteen the empire took her adoptive parents land and arrested them because they refused to give up their land willingly. Because of this she became a street kid around the same time Ezra met Kanan and the rest of the crew. She later found out about the rebellion through then and joined it, all while staying on Lothal and working to find and free her parents. When she was twenty, she finally managed to find them and stage a prison break to get them free. The plan succeeded and they were set free and joined the rebellion with her. Through this time both Kanan and Ezra kept trying to convince her to be a jedi and she refused, though she did find herself a corrupt kyber crystal in a light red color, which she used to create her own lightsaber. Despite having a red lightsaber and using the force but not being a jedi she is not a Sith either, she is what is essentially a “Gray Jedi” one who does not follow strict jedi rules and uses both the light and the dark side of the force. She uses her force abilities and smarts to help defeat the empire and afterward continued to help people and protect Lothal. She never marries and never has kids.

Elara Voss. Abilities/force sensitivity:

Voss is force sensitive and extremely strong with the force; she has minimal jedi training from when she was very young, but she mostly taught herself how to use it growing up.

Voss is also a very good sharpshooter with both long range and short range blasters.

Voss is skilled in hand to hand combat and prefers to use a mix of that and the force in battles/fights.,

Voss is able to sense where people are and how many people are near her using the force.

This is really long but I have way too much stuff written down about her. I actually have an equal amount of stuff written down about all my ocs

Air Surge: this quirk gives its user the ability to create surges of air in any direction the user can see. These surges can be made up to a hundred feet from the user and are invisible to the human eye. The quirk is not able to seriously injure someone but can leave a bruise if used close to skin. The downsides of this quirk are, the user can only use their quirk in close distance if their eyes are closed, the user can only create ten surges at a time before needing to take a ten second break though this can be improved with training.

This quirk is kinda similar to Air Cannon but it’s still a pretty good quirk!! :)

Okay, hear me out, I totally understand that sick and twisted DFO would totally be canon if the theory pans out. And don't get me wrong I love that, truly, it's one of his ehm many quirks.

But just, ugh, the idea that AFO genuinely loves Izuku in a not just possessive "you are part of me" but also in a "I will burn everything down just to see you smile" way.

Like big bad, supervillain who has zero moral code, kept every single baby book, toy, and article of clothing Izuku had throughout his childhood. This man has a container of baby teeth in a pretty little jar and all of his underlings think it's from one of his enemies, no it's from AFO's hero son. This man is a hoarder!!! I mean people have been building this head canon for years, but instead of hoarding jewels and pretty things, he hoards photocopies of every analysis Izuku has even written, Izuku's favorite stuffed animals and his baby blanket that are so tattered and loved that people think they're from HIS childhood.

LIKE PLEASE.

The idea that baby Izu nearly saved the world because his father almost gave up on villainy. It makes me sob!!!!

Baby Izu bringing home injured animals off the side of the street and DFO miraculously healing them to make Izuku happy. Then proceeding to do that years later when he sees an injured bird or something, because he misses his son.

Like you know how parents always talk about how they'll never see their kids as anything but their babies. That they just never truly grow up. THAT is AFO coded to me. Like he comes back from being abroad and is absolutely aghast when he finds out Izuku doesn't sleep with his stuffed rabbit anymore. He keeps the damn ugly rabbit around just in case Izuku gets a nightmare but will cut your throat out if you look at him the wrong way.

The idea that he left to protect his son is great, amazing, spectacular.

But him leaving because Izuku was making him weak kills me too. That after 200 years of stubbornly fighting for world domination and your toddler babbles about how much of a great Papa you are, and you question whether any of it is worth it.

The idea that Izuku could grow to become AFO's Jiminy Cricket, his little heart that forces him onto a straight path. Or even that AFO would throw everything away for his heroic son without hesitation.

Or that this man is so grief stricken but not just losing his brother for good but knowing that he'll never be able to go back to his family. That Izuku is his nemesis' successor, and they are sworn enemies as a result.

OR GOD FORBID, HE DIES OFFICIALLY BECAUSE HE COULD NEVER KILL HIS BABY!!
