do me a solid and just reblog this saying what time it is where you are and what youโre thinking about in the tags.
Eukaryotic cell gang!! We love women in STEM.
The organelles of the cells have been translated into human anatomy, so the nucleus is the brain, the vacuole function as the lungs, and the mitochondria is the heart since itโs theโฆ you already know, I donโt have to say it ;)

Dear downydig,
Any secret knowledge on how to do fluid and dynamic poses? (Btw, I love ur art!! So comfy and cozy!!!)
Sincerely, Paper-Starz
Hello hello! I have some advice! I did a thing on lines of action and the benefits of tracing in learning models a LONG time agoโฆ the advice still holds up! Use shapes like โsโ curves, โcโ curves, and even sharper โUโs to give a fun fluid motion! Limbs and spine are the main help here, but the head sometimes comes into play โ๏ธ
I have a little more to add, however! One of these pictures is my oc and the other is a king fu panda character but itโs still useful! When creating a pose, you can also use silhouette! Bonus points if the shape of the silhouette is different than the shapes that compose the character (in a way that matches the personality of course!)
PLEASE PLAY THIS WITH SOUND OMG
Hi! I hope this question doesn't bother you, but if I may ask, what is your sketch process when drawing faces? I admire how you draw side profiles and angles!
Lots of love โค๏ธ
Thank you! I feel like I've explained this before but can't seem to find it properly with the tutorial tag here so eh
I don't really have a process, sometimes I just start with an eye or something and build from it, but if I had to explain the thought process it's roughly like this:
I rely a lot on anatomy planes and using simple shapes to know how they deform with each angle before going into detail on things like eyes, etc. Cheekbones, chin angle, eye sockets, etc
Nobody wants to hear this but it's also heavily linked to some understanding of the musculoskeletal system underneath ๐โโ๏ธ
the utdr fandom needs to come together to finally discuss face on a deeply serious issue, one ive been silent on for too long:
-does not stretch from wall to wall
-smaller size
-laid out on the floor
this is a "rug".
So like what's the best website nowadays if I want a less-safe-for-work art alt blog/socmed/etc
I'll probably just end up making another Twitter (gross ๐ฉ) but would love other suggestions
