Inhun reminds me of Wintersberg a lot. Like, regular guy just trying to survive insane nonsense to try and fix his life/get his daughter back and the crazy dude hosting "games" who becomes obsessed with him. Honestly this AU could work either way BUT mostly I was thinking of Inhun Resident Evil Village AU, with Gi-hun as Ethan Winters and In-ho as Karl Heisenberg. Perhaps Oh Il-nam would be the Mother Miranda in this case. Not sure about the other lords... The Recruiter could be one, maybe? And the Commanding Officer? Maybe he'd be the Lady Dimitrescu equivalent, with the guards being the "daughters" lol. You know it wouldn't be a one-to-one but I could see making it work some how. The VIPs being Umbrella Corps? And I guess Jun-ho would be Chris (though he does give me more Leon vibes, but like, Leon doesn't show up in RE8, but I suppose since it wouldn't need to be an exact remake of RE8 it could be changed).

Idk, it was just a thought, since I'm a fan of both. But I think there's something there.

But it could also be Ethan as Gi-hun and Karl as In-ho in a Squid Game AU and that would make sense, too, I think.
