headcanon time:
— There's a mural at the Blackwood cafe commemorating the choir.
— It’s a painting of each of them standing together, like their about to sing for a concert at school. Holding hands, they look at peace.
— Doodles of cats in astronaut suits, pink clouds, stars and smiley faces.
— People leave candles and flowers. A co-worker of Noel’s leaves Noel’s Taco Bell hat. Ocean’s awards lined up in the shape of a heart. A cassette tape of Mischa’s songs (complete and unfinished) lays to be listened too.
— Penny visits every day. Sitting down, she places down flowers and talks about her day. How she got a 100% on a big test, she saw a cat walking down the street, she heard a new song on the radio.
— She breaks down into tears. Sobbing that her first real friends are gone… she wishes things were different.
— Penny feels a gust of air that brushes up against her neck, unsure of what that was because no trees moved.
