i'm sorry but people who ship the gang are so weird. their bond in the book was literally stated as platonic and brotherly love. there was zero romance shown between any of them. it kinda just pushes the idea that guys can't have platonic love for one another without being pushed into a ship (ex: johnny being the only thing dally loved.) and same with pony and johnny, like the age gap is weird and the fact people are taking johnny complimenting pony as a romance thing just pushes that stereotype further.

TW: Sexual Assault

so I watched Matt Dillon's new movie "Being Maria" where he plays Marlon Brando and I didn't realise how graphic it would be. The film is about Maria Schneider and her career and when she worked with Marlon Brando on "Last Tango in Paris". During a scene together, Marlon assaulted Maria by doing something sexual to her without her consent (I won't explain it on here because it's a bit graphic) but this scene was played out in the movie. Matt plays Marlon very well but I didn't expect them to show the assault scene as graphically as they did (it was graphic for me at least). The film itself is fine, but warning certain scenes can be triggering. I wanted to post this so people know what they're getting into and to give an honest review.
