As the bombings intensified, Tarneem was forced to flee from northern Gaza to Rafah and then to Deir al-Balah, where she now lives with her children in a tent that barely protects them from the winter cold.

Each day, she wakes up to the cries of her hungry children, their eyes filled with fear and sorrow. With no money to buy food or medicine, Tarneem fears losing her children just as she lost her husband.
