Misa's life was ruined... it was all Near... No.. L's fault..

The one she had loved so dearly had been ripped right from her hands.

She no longer saw any reason to live.

As a single tear fell from her face, Misa lifted her foot to step from the roof she had been standing on... fully intending to fall to her death.

Surely death was better than a life without Light...

But just as she was about to jump, somebody yanked her away from the edge.

They had a look of genuine concern on their face

"Don't do it, please! Th...there must be someone out there who would miss you"

Misa sighed before answering.

"No, the only person that ever loved me just died, I'm completely alone and no one wants me anyway."

"I'm sorry for your loss, but I'm sure you'll find more people who love you! You seem like a very lovable girl."

They gave her a gentle smile...

And in that moment seeing their smile... Misa fell in love...

Actually it was more of an obsession.

Their encounter was fairly quick.

After Misa confirmed that she was alright, they exchanged phone numbers and parted ways.

From that moment on, it was daily dates and phone calls or texts almost every hour.

She was always with you, always sure to throw threatening looks at anyone who so much as looked at you.

She never fully forgot Light though, however, you were a wonderful replacement for him.

-You tried your best to hide the bruises and scars with makeup and clothing... 

-You just didn’t want him to worry about you, he had enough on his plate as it was with his acting and all that. 

-But he eventually found out.

-You were both sitting on the couch, watching TV, when he reached for your arm

-You winced in pain. 

-He noticed and pulled up your sleeve seeing the many bruises all over your skin. 

-”Where did those come from, babe” He asked, his voice dripping with concern. 

-”Oh... I fell.” you lied.

-”Oh come on, you can’t get bruises like that just from falling, Please tell me what’s wrong, I want to help you” 

-He gently caressed your face in an attempt to comfort you. 

-You sighed and told him everything.. 

-And let me tell you, he wasn’t too happy with your ex. 

-Zen went out of his way to try and be with you whenever you went out so that hopefully, your ex wouldn’t harm you ever again. 

Jumin

-You had been mugged. 

-You had your money stolen and you were beat up. 

-You had a few bruises and scars. 

-Before going to Jumin’s for the day, you decided to change clothes and put on makeup to hide the bruises and scars on your body.

-You really didn’t want Jumin to worry about you. 

-You were kind of paranoid that he’d find out while you were there. 

-But he found out a few days later. 

-You had thought most of your bruises had healed to the point that the were unnoticeable.

-So you started wearing your regular clothes. 

-But you had one, single bruise just on your side. 

-Jumin questioned you about it when he saw it..

-You denied that anything happened, but he saw right through you. 

-From then on, you had to be with at least two bodyguards at all times.

-Your bruises were mostly quite easy to hide under your clothing.

-You hoped V wouldn’t notice the ones that peeked out from under your clothing.

-He knew something was off and he wasn’t gonna let you pass it off as nothing. 

-”Then why do you have bruises?”

-V notified Seven to try to track the guy down. 

-Turns out it was a guy who had just gotten out of prison. 

-He was arrested shortly after you were assaulted.

-V didn’t worry too much about you since this didn’t seem to happen very often and he didn’t want to restrict your freedom. 

Vanderwood

-A crazy ex decided to beat the shit out of you. 

-You tried to cover up your bruises so that Vanderwood wouldn’t notice. 

-He had so much stress from his job and everything.. 

-You didn’t need him worrying about you. 

-Later, you headed to your shared house.  

-He noticed almost immediately. 

-He has a keen eye, he is a secret agent after all. 

-”MC, why do you have so much makeup on? And what’s with the long sleeves?” He asked. 

-You tried to deny it... 

-You tried.. 

-But he was too good at reading you. 

-”Stop lying, MC, something happened, so tell me, who assaulted you” 

-”Fine, It was my ex, you know that one that’s a complete jerk”

-He nodded, knowing exactly who you were talking about.

I just watched Castlevania and... Alucard seriously makes me want to cry sometimes holy shit..

So to express my newfound love for this series... And its sparkly blonde vampire man, here's a full ass fic about comforting Alucard after that horrifying s3 betrayal..

Alucard laid in bed staring at the ceiling. The events of the night before were still fresh in his mind. Two humans he had trusted enough to let into his bed, had entirely betrayed him. And now, Alucard was entirely alone again.

As the poor vampire was sulking in his big ass castle, a woman Alucard knew very well approached. Dressed in a cloak covering a long black dress adorned with pearls and red jewels. She looked like a vampire in her own rite, however, she was in fact entirely human. As she heaved the castle door open, she called out to him.

"Alucard? Are you here, Love?" Her voice seemed to resonate through the large, open corridors. She paused before entering fully. Her eyes darted around the room hoping to catch him approaching. But as she waited, it became clear Alucard had no intention of greeting her.

How utterly rude! She thought, preparing herself to search for the vampire occupying the castle. Her annoyance grew with every empty room she visited. A thought crossed her mind that maybe he'd been killed. However, she knew that to be untrue. Her years with him had made her somewhat sensitive to his presence. Though she couldn't pick out his location, she knew he was somewhere in the dreary castle.

Alucard had heard her enter the castle, her calling out to him and her every step. He didn't make any effort to greet her. He was sure he'd get an earful later though. He did want her to find him. To realize he was hurting and hopefully help him make it through the night without losing it entirely. And soon enough she indeed found him.

"Alucard, what the fuck? Did you not hear me earlier? And why are you lazing around in your nightclothes?" Her barrage of angry questions somewhat comforted him. Alucard sat up, meeting her gaze, before looking down.

"I heard you...But I didn't feel like getting up. As for my nightclothes, similar reason." She tilted her head sending him a sympathetic look. As soon as she heard his voice which seemed to be somewhat strained and a lot quieter than usual, she grasped that someone or something must have hurt him. She unbuttoned her cloak, tossing it onto a chair nearby before sitting on the bed beside Alucard.

"Tell me, darling. What happened?" She asked placing a hand comfortingly on his forearm. His eyes widened and he flinched away from her touch. He knew she'd never harm him, however, now he couldn't be entirely sure of even that. Taking the hint, she retracted her hand.

"I was... betrayed, by two humans. I thought I could trust them. I considered them my friends" She gasped. Her mind immediately flicked to a certain Belmont hobo and his speaker companion.

"Sypha and Belmont? God... Alucard I'm so sorry." Alucard shook his head.

"Not them. It was two travelers from Japan. They were seeking help to kill a vampire that had captured them" Alucard looked down at his hands before continuing. "I trusted them enough to get intimate with them. But during the act, they attempted to capture me. I tried to reason with them... But they were convinced I wasn't telling them the truth of what they wanted to know"

The woman's eyes widened at the words intimate. Though she'd figured he may find that type of company while she was away. She didn't bring it up knowing it would cause a fight, instead she elected to stay silent until he'd finished his depressed rant.

"They bound me with some sort of capture weapon, though I was able to cut through it with my sword. I slit their throats and impaled their bodies on stakes outside the castle" She grimaced at the memory of the grisly sight. It reminded her of the tales of Dracula and his... Morbid lawn decor.

Alucard looked out the bedroom window obviously trying to hide his face from the girl in front of him. Tears flowed down his pale cheeks, dropping from his chin. She took notice immediately and moved just a bit closer. She asked for permission to touch him earning a slight nod. She then enveloped Alucard in a hug.

"Please... Don't leave me, Y/N" Alucard whispered burying his face into her chest.

"I've got no plans to do so, love. I promise you I'll be here as long as you need" She replied, idly stroking his hair.

"So you'll stay the night at least?" He asked. She nodded in response, motioning for him to lay with her. And as promised. She stayed in bed with him well into morning and she had no intentions of leaving him alone again.

He finds it relaxes him…. But he’s rarely ever relaxed anyway so it doesn’t really make much difference with his mood or anything.

Matt

He is into MCR and nobody and I mean NOBODY can convince me otherwise.

Honestly he probably bought a Black Parade jacket AND a Party Poison jacket.

He even owns all of The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys comics, in fact, the album by the same name is his all time favorite, but he does love all the albums dearly, even the EPs and demos and all that.

But if he had to pick a favorite, it would be Na Na Na

He’d never admit to it but he thinks Every Snowflake is Different totally slaps.

He tries to get Mello to listen to his music, but is usually met with “turn that stupid fucking emo shit off before I beat you with a flyswatter”

Matt isn’t really the type to hate any genre of music… He appreciates all of them!

Near

I think he listens to instrumentals.

He especially loves movie soundtracks.

Just as long as there’s no words, he finds lyrics distracting.

He’ll typically listen while working or playing with his toys.

His favorite is Molossus

Really you could play almost anything by Hans Zimmer and he’d probably vibe with it.

He dislikes death metal, it gives him headaches 🙁

Listens to Gorillaz quite a lot… (IDK why I immediately looked at him and thought Gorillaz. I barely ever listen to them myself, but he just seems like that type.)

His favorite song is Clint Eastwood

Has also recently gotten into the habit of listening to random weirdcore/dreamcore/internetcore playlists.

For that he doesn’t really have a favorite it’s usually just background noise anyway.

In general all music, for L, is background noise. He never really pays much mind to it so due to that, he doesn’t exactly have anything he dislikes.

MC’s April Fools Day Prank On Vanderwood (Vanderwood HC)

-Vanderwood wasn't really the type to get fooled or fool someone

-So ofc you had to get him... You just had to.

-What you didn't expect was to fall flat on your face the moment you came out of your bedroom...

-He had put a bit of saran wrap on the bottom of the door....

-That...

-Little...

-Shit...

-Vanderwood literally sprinted over to your bedroom door and laughed his ass off.

-"I didn't think you'd fall for that baby girl."

-Oh it's on Vanderwood!

-You called up Luciel and started plotting your big prank.... this... was gonna be cruel..

-You see... Vanderwood had a routine, He'd wake up, go to the living room, eat breakfast, drive over to Luciel's stay there for an hour or two, come home to you, cuddle with you for a while, and wait for his boss to call him for his mission. then after the mission he'd come home and relax for the rest of the night.

-"Luciel, I have a plan..."

-"Yes? What is it?"

-"First make a huge mess of your apartment... like bigger than normal... Then, I want you to tell Vanderwood that I sent a distress signal about 15 minutes after he enters your bunker and that you're working at finding my location"

-"Okay... anything else"

-"Send him to {insert shady location in Korea here} and tell him that it was the location that the distress signal was sent from"

-"Okay, Got it."

-You arrive at the location you've told Luciel about

- 45 minutes pass before you hear footsteps...

-THIS IS HAPPENING

-You smile... He's so gonna hate you after this.

-"MC, are you here?"

-You let out the most bloodcurdling scream you could muster.

-Vanderwood immediately jumps into action literally pushing things out of the way... until... he finds you...

-"Oh god, MC are you okay?"

-You nod and hand him a note.

-He immediately unfolds the piece of paper.

-On it is written...Happy April Fools day!!

-"Do you want me to tase you, MC?"

-"No.."

-"You better run then."

-He chased you with a taser for about 5 minutes before giving up and driving you both home... then going back to Luciel's to deal with the mess there...

-What he'll never admit is that you actually got him... you made him freak out... then laugh about it a little later..... And clean more than usual... (He hated that)

I posted the sketch yesterday, I finished in the same day, took me like 4 hours.. which is about average for my art...

And well.. it didn't turn out exactly the way I wanted and there are some things I wish I did differently (namely the eyes being just a bit too harsh.. wish I did them in brown and not the dark purple..) but overall, I like how it turned out..

I tried a new painting technique the wet on wet method.. well in the beginning.. and I quite like it. I used both gouache and watercolors...I will 100% be doing rim lighting again.. it gives an ethereal quality and I looove that tbh..

And ofc being an overexcited dumbass forgot to tape down my piece initially so it warped.. but I taped it down shortly after and it's less um.. crazy looking now..

And idk why... but painting his ass was the funnest part lol.... I used many different colours in his skintone.. mainly purples, oranges, browns, yellows and hints of blue.. And it really stands out on that one cheek closest to the viewer.. I may have accidentally made it the focal point... unintentional, I swear,😅

Admittedly my shading is still absolutely shit.. making a note to practice that.. the light source and shadow placement doesn't make a whole lot of sense.. but it still looks alright I think..
