So alternative Ultimate Enemy timeline
His friends, family, and teacher still die in the explosion at the Nasty Burger, but he doesn’t go with Vlad in this timeline. Consumed by his grief and a desire to leave all the hurt behind him, he disappears into the woods. He intentionally casts aside his humanity, metaphorically. He’s still a halfa, but he has taken to staying in Phantom form and living more naturally. Well, as naturally as a half ghost can. He lets his instincts take over, and while not happy, he might consider himself content, the constant moving in search of food and resources keeping his mind distracted from his grief.
Vlad tries to find him of course. He sends his Vultures and Skulker to search the area. He grows concerned when only two of the vultures and a heavily damaged skulker returns empty handed. Apparently, the boy had ATE one of the vultures which did not bode well for anyone. True predatory spirits were so rare after all…
Meanwhile, the occasional sighting of SOMETHING in the woods has become local legend
until the special comes out i'm just going to write it myself
When young ghosting are extremely tired or have exhausted their core too much, whether it be from fighting or just using up too much ectoplasm, they can merge with their parent in the ghost zone. The core of their parent and the welcoming warmth it gave often allowed for fast recoveries. Dani was too weak even with her eco-shots and Danny allowed her to rest inside him until she was one hundred percent again.
One minor thing was that even with the core, there's still a bit of a change that's physically noriceable. And while ghosts and those of the Infinite Realms understood, humans often didn't.
Which was why Danny was met with mortified and angry gazes when he appeared to the next Justice League meeting with Dani resting inside of him. It didn't help with how bad he explained the situation either.

Every single corpse, skeleton, or other human remains that was not properly buried under their own name, murdered and/or had unfinished business in the whole of Gotham (including the bay) gets up and claws themselves out of their dumping ground. The living watch in horror as green glowing zombies swarm the streets and start to gather at Gothams cemeteries…
There they each get a green “hello my name is…” name tag and a (actually rather professional looking) complaint form from one of the floating tables, fill it out, search for a free spot, lie down and stop glowing.
Danny (who would tell you that he is not a necromancer) is just glad that now all these shades can finally stopp bothering him about solving their problems.
Early Adventure Time episodes: Ice King "kidnaps" Wire Princess, a vaguely humanoid heap of scrap with a smiley face painted on its "head" which he obviously made. Finn wants to stop him on the principle of kidnapping being bad, while Jake argues that since his "victim" is an inanimate piece of junk, no one's getting hurt and it might even quell his kidnapping thirst. After a series of shenanigans, Ice King attacks Jake, at which point Wire Princess speaks, revealing that not only was she alive, but consenting to the kidnapping as well, because of Ice King's fluffy beard. But now that she has seen him attack Jake, another fluffy thing, her heart is wavering and she must journey alone to find the true meaning of fluff. The end gag is Ice King screaming "She was alive?"
Middle Adventure Time episode: Raggedy Princess' kingdom is being attacked, and the assailant is revealed to be none other than Wire Princess, whose quest for fluff has turned destructive. PB appears excessively distraught by this, and it's revealed that she created Wire and Raggedy Princess (then known as cloth princess) in a recreation of the monkey experiment to best gauge her approach to ruling, in the early days of the Candy Kingdom. However, when the Wire Princess AI realized the candy people were more driven to Cloth Princess' caring nature, it logically concluded the only biological need of candy people is "fluff", and so tried her best to imitate Cloth's behavior, while Cloth Princess' deeply ingrained love for her citizens caused her to attempt to physically care for them. Declaring the experiment a failure, PB mind-wiped them both, gave Cloth Princess a new kingdom and name, and put WP in sleep mode, as well as left her in Ice King's junk pile. Jake, who has been listening, says "PB, that's messed up, man". Although they deliberate whether to reboot her again, she ends up being smashed by a gumball guardian or something. While everyone staress in shock, Raggedy Princess says "That's messed up, man. Also I didn't have time to say this earlier but I'm fine with either Raggedy Princess or Cloth Princess. So, um, yeah. Anyway, I'm going to call the cleanup crew"
Late Adventure Time episode: A strange techno-magical maze appears out of the blue in the Ice Kingdom. Finn and Jake explore it and find imagery of both softness and some sort of pre-apocalypse university, ultimately discovering it was created by Magic Woman/Betty mind-melding with Wire Princes, who was trying to reverse engineer an AI with love magic infused through Simon or whatever. She inadvertently mind-melded then, accidentally creating the semi-physical maze with her magic powers, and in turn realized that WP was, in fact, not only functional and aware this whole time, but she also had a slowed down perception of time. Finn and Jake sever the link after fighting some techno-nightmares. Magic Woman, despite only having been mind-melded for a day, has experienced a whole year, and appears distraught. But this is only momentary, as she declares that her accelerated madness means that her magic will grow exponentially stronger, and runs off appearing to have a plan. Finn and Jake are worried about Wire Princess going haywire (the pun is pointed out), but she clarifies (her voicebox is working now, but not much else) that actually, since she didn't have or understand emotions for most of her aware existence, she was just fine then. She then goes on a beautiful monologue about how, since she's now bonded to one, she finally, truly understands emotional beings and their complex needs. She renames herself "wire knight", and downloads her consciousnesses onto Finn's arm. A later episode has BMO and Wire Knight debating the trolley problem

Dcxdp trope twist
So, maybe taking Pariah’s crown was a bad idea, but he had meant it as a “rubbing salt in the wound” thing, not a “I want your power” thing. Now, he had been having trouble with his abilities being too strong and unpredictable along with new ones developing.
Luckily, his parents thought he was a meta. Unluckily, they were sending him to his great aunt and great uncle’s farm to learn how to control it. Apparently their son had had similar issues?
All Danny could hope was that he didn’t accidentally destroy the Kent’s farm.
Bruce has been chasing after Damian for years now, the once child now a young adult. He's missed 5 years of his son's life, due to a conversation where they both said the wrong words which resulted in Damian running away and somehow managing to evade all of them for so long.
He has to get to his son, before Talia sucks him right back up into the league.
They managed to track his location down to a nightclub, apparently, he was participating in a regularly held event that's been going on ever since 6 years ago.
So they went to the city the nightclub was in, disguised themselves in the crowd and was told to let each other know if they've found Damian.
He didn't expect to meet Talia and the same nightclub, but it made sense. If he was able to find Damian, then it makes sense for Talia to be able to do so as well, even after years hiding from the both of them.
He was keeping an eye on Talia, and she was keeping an eye on him as well, when the event started. The most popular-and only- DJ appeared and played music that had the civilians going wild, and then an entire stage sprang from the ground, multicolored lights coming to life.
This was an event in which multiple dancers had to compete against each other, for what was previously the chance to battle Wraith, the champion who also acted as the DJ, but that changed when Demon came around, overthrowing Wraith and yet, the two seemed to be evenly matched, taking the champion title from each other over the period of 5 years.
Now, who ever got far enough had the option to pick between the two, the Wraith or the Demon.

Danny, or otherwise known as Wraith, managed to find a place for himself after losing everything to the Nasty Burger explosion, with the help of Vlad to get him back on his feet, he managed to find a place for himself in a nightclub in another city.
It was in that same city, that he didn't expect to see his twin, Damian Al Ghul, by himself. He explained that he left his father, and was on the run from their mother, Damian didn't know what to do with himself anymore.
Which-as much as he wasn't on a cordial relationship with Damian- reminded him of himself after the explosion of Nasty Burger. So, he took him in at his pretty decent size apartment, fully prepared to do what was needed for his older brother until he got back on his feet.
Then Damian followed him to the nightclub one day, and then the next demanded that Danny teach him so that he could earn his keep.
And Danny did.
He didn't expect for Damian to progress so fast that he was able to dethrone him, though. But he gave credit where credit was due, and if Damian was hellbent on doing this for a living, then he had to wear a mask to hide his identity, from you know, some types of fans and the League as well.
He asked Vlad for another neon mask- he had one himself- and Vlad gave him one surprisingly easy, and then he gave that mask to Damian.
And that, was how Wraith and Demon became regular champions that dethroned each other, until the manager told them to stop because no one else would be able to display their skills and instead made them both champions.
Either pick one or get two.
Their lives fell into an endless motion of DJing, dancing to earn money, and then going back home to a messy apartment, eating and then passing out.
It was a perfect routine that neither of them whished to disturb.
Then Danny saw Talia, and Damian saw Bruce, and suddenly that peace was threatened. Neither of them wanted to go back now, not after establishing this little thing for themselves that they carved out with their own two hands.
But it would be okay, as long as their masks stay on they would go unnoticed, after all.
They wouldn't even think that their children were dancers, would they?
Dani breathed heavily as panic began to set in. She wasn't sure how Joker had managed to get ahold of an ectogun, but she'd been hit pretty hard and it burned. She was exhausted, hurt, and scared. He cackled as he got closer to her, lifting the gun to aim at her face.
"Mama!" She squeezed her eyes shut tight, she really hadn't meant to say that in particular, but the fear, desperation, and wish was real and soul deep.
The temperature dropped so suddenly and so steeply that it almost froze the Joker's lungs in his chest, a dome of ice springing around Dani to protect her from the blast of the gun as his fingers reflexively curled in the cold. Dani was about as shocked as Joker was when green tore into the fabric of reality and Danny pulled his way through. Joker was moving sluggishly, choking on his own breath as his throat fought not to freeze over in the deadly chill. He couldn't move fast enough to dodge or fight back when a thin gloved hand snapped out and snatched him up by the neck.
"If I see you near my baby again I'm hanging your internal organs from every treetop from here to California you fucking circus reject!" Danny spoke viciously, his voice doubled and echoing over itself. His eyes were glowing a bright toxic green, his white hair floating in an violent unseen breeze, and his face filled with a haunting and murderous hostility.
In his hand the delicate bones slowly fractured under the pressure as the Joker tried to claw the hand away, only succeeding in tearing at his own throat. Danny's hand could touch him it seemed but he could not touch Danny. He gradually stopped struggling his face going slack as he lost consciousness. The pain and cold at last too much for the clown to remain conscious. The cold dissipated slowly as Danny got his breathing under control, he tossed Joker aside violently before lowering the dome that protected Dani.
Dani looked up at him with wide tearful eyes, awed and relieved. Her sweet face scrunched in upset as she stood up quickly and threw herself into a tight hug, squeezing Danny's thin waist with all her might. Danny sighed with relief and smiled happily at her, hugging her with all the love in his heart.
"You called for me. I'm so glad I heard you call for me..." Danny admitted, he was a little shaky himself it seemed, just holding onto his little clone and assuring himself that she was okay. Dani groaned into his belly, her cheeks warming.
"You heard that?! Ugh..." She still refused to let Danny go despite the embarrassment. Danny chuckled a little with delight.
"I don't mind, I think I like it." Danny admitted with a wide grin. Dani groaned again and tried to squeeze him tighter.
"Spirit!" The skylight was shattered as a large, burly man in a red helmet broke his way in. The guy looked pretty worse for wear, clearly run ragged as he frantically took stock of the situation.
"Hood!" Dani at last pulled away a bit to look at the other vigilante.
She seemed happy to see him so though Danny had tensed at his entry he relaxed and allowed himself to smile in a bit of amused gratitude. It seemed that someone would have tried to save his Dani if he had not heard her. Red Hood looked over at her and seemed to do a double take as he noticed the nearly identical features between Phantom and Spirit. Hood at last noticed the unconscious Joker, blood still seeping sluggishly from his barely breathing mouth.
"Huh, good." Hood turned to look back at the ghosts for a moment unsure what to do clearly.
"You must be one of those bats my Spirit likes to play with!" Danny spoke cheerfully beaming happily at Red Hood who seemed a little taken aback.
"Phantom!" Dani hissed her cheeks flushed green. Danny floated them both over and held his hand out for a handshake his feet settled on the ground. He was much shorter than Red Hood and far less bulky.
"Thank you for always playing with my daughter and looking out for her," Danny said happily. "Isn't she just the cutest?"
"MOM YOU'RE EMBARRASSING ME!!" Dani shrieked tugging at the older boy finally just into adulthood, he wouldn't budge and Dani pulled at his arm desperately her little feet digging into the concrete floor and sliding as she kept trying to get him to leave.
"Oh Spirit, I'm just thanking your little friend for taking care of you." Danny teased with a little grin.
"You're humiliating me! I can never come to Gotham ever again!" Dani wailed frustratedly her face scrunched in a pout. "Hero-ing is serious business!"
"I know Sweetheart, it's very serious." Phantom turned to Red Hood again, who didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Phantom held out his hand for a shake. "Thank you for helping my Spirit with her very serious business, Misterrrr?"
"Red Hood, he/him." Hood offered accepting the hand and shaking it.
"Phantom! He/him, I'm Spirit's mama." Danny said proudly, Dani gave a wordless embarrassed scream again and gave up on pulling Phantom away. "I always worry when she wanders away, I'm glad she has good friends to look out for her."
"Uh, no problem." Hood was really at a loss in this situation, but Phantom had clearly fucked up the Joker in a bid to protect Spirit so he was good in his books.
John doesn't summon Infinite realms beings for a few reasons but the main reason and the biggest reason he doesn't summon realms beings is the way they look at him
They look at him specifically like they can see all the mistakes he's ever made every error every deal they look at him with... pity
And what's worse is they offer to help him they ask sounding so concerned if he's alright and needs help and it just... freaks him out
And now the bloddy justice league decided to include a powerful realms ghost a position and he needs to be their due to no one else in the JLD being available
And the first thing out of the bastards mouth is "are you ok" bloody fantastic
Or
Due to John's soul contracts his soul is fractured and ghosts sensing his soul are so concerned a soul shouldn't be like that and are asking if he's ok
But john is not used to genuine concern so he's freaked out especially by beings who can kill him in a second flat and he's so mistrustful of it
“Bruce! They’re not coming!”
Bruce Wayne’s newest adoptive son shouts at him with worrying certainty, especially considering the turn this kidnapping incident has turned into. What, with the falling burning plane all around them.
“Superman can hear-“
“No, Bruce. That’s just some stupid marketing ploy the Justice league uses to deter crime.” Danny sighs bitterly, (tiredly, hopelessly) as his shoulders slump slightly.
I don't know why, but Penguine!Shifter Danny has been stuck in my head for a while now.
Especially with that clip of the giant baby penguin going around. I just imagine larger than average baby penguin Danny hanging out with this colony of penguins somewhere, having the time of his (after)life. Especially if he's up in Antarctica, where he gets to enjoy the stars AND the Aurora Boriallis. For extra laughs, the penguins he's hanging around aren't even the same species as him, and are smaller in size. So more often then not, Danny finds his baby penguin ass stuck in the middle of a giant cuddle pile.
Cue researchers seeing this way-above averaged sized baby penguin living with the wrong colony. Obviously they would try and return him to the right colony, seeing as he definitely would have problems getting fed properly by whatever penguin is taking care of him. Only, when they try to remove this oversized baby with unnaturally bright green eyes, all he colony gets offended and chases them off.
Eventually this spreads to the news and a certain animal-loving Robin is doing his best to convince his father that this could be a case for him and Superboy. It's low-stakes, has no dangerous rogues, and he's helping people with something rhat is a non-emergency. It would be good for PR or whatever, making him seem less scary to the masses for weilding a sword. He sees that thoughtful smirk Bruce, he already knows he's won. Yes, yes, he'll take one of his brothers as supervision, he's not a child! He knows how out-of-Gotham missions work!
On the other hand, the GIW are looking for escaped specimen Phantom and having very little luck. Until they randomly come across a scientific article about a very unusual penguin. One with very familiar green eyes.... I mean, it might not be Phantom, but it's definitely the type of stunt a ghost would pull. They should probably investigate.
