I saw a few posts that regard belief from others empowering ghosts like how it works with other fantasy creatures (mainly gods) so I formulated this just because.

Clockwork is... For a lack of better term, sick. (was thinking that the Flashes doing time travel stuff makes the poor guy get sick like that)

Its like if that one grandfather clock that came with the old house you just moved into is finally breaking down the moment you least expected it.

Anyways, Danny is a good mentee/grandson. And the only solution that he can really use is...

You guessed it, make a Clockwork™ based religion in the human world so that this empowers and therefore heals clockwork up.

Danny is very into this religion thing to the point it borderline looks like a cult that is somehow very quickly growing.

Bruce: ALRIGHT. FAMILY MEETING. NOW. *sits down in an armchair, and frowns at the assorted children he’s collected, plus an amused Alfred*

Bruce: Just because I leave the house without you, does NOT mean you have permission to reenact Home Alone with your siblings, assorted pets, and dubious friends.

Tim: *blinking innocently* Who would do a thing like that?

Jason: *staring* You still have an iron imprint on your forehead, moron.

Tim: Ooooh, that explains the headache and double vision.

Bruce: YOU ACTUALLY HIT HIM WITH AN IRON?!

Duke: He volunteered for it, for the sake of authenticity.

Bruce:……..

Cass: We also zapped Jason.

Bruce: WHAT.

Jason: Hey, like I was gonna turn down free electroshock therapy. I’m not that stupid, old man.

Bruce:………..when did my house turn into the Wayne Asylum for the Deranged?

Alfred: I believe it was when you first decided that dressing up as a bat was a proper alternative for therapy, sir.

Bruce: Oh. Ouch.

The kids: OOOOH BURN!

Tim: Like my forehead! 😃

Bruce: Someone haul him down to the med bay please.

Clark gets hit with an irreversible spell, powered by an amulet of Kronos.

He gets thrown back in time. Back in his time.

Specifically, to when he came back and was faced with what he would have been if he hadn't been raised by Ma and Pa.

He, after many years of getting to know Kon and viewing him as family, knows exactly what he needs to do.

He changes how he first interacted with Kon.

He accepts him, right off the bat, the way he wished he had far after anything could be changed the first time.

Meanwhile, Dan is being sent to drag Superman back to his actual time, and really doesn't want to do that.

The man seems intent on "being better", and who is Dan to argue against that?

The Observants keep saying that they'll personally get involved if he doesn't do anything, and Clockwork is being suspiciously silent.

Dan is really, really close to killing the Observants. Again.

I’ve realized that the main reason I don’t give a fuck about Red Hood’s actual canon crimes is not that I think they’re justified, or reasonable, or even just funny. He has been shown doing very fucked up shit that at times has very little, if anything, to do with any reasonable moral code. But the reason I don’t care is that I’ve steadily become very critical of villain framing. It’s so very common to have a villain say something very reasonable like “poor people shouldn’t die” and then complement it with “and I will kill babies about it.” If the first statement is reasonable, and the narrative does not provide a reason that justifies the balls-to-the-wall batshit “solution” the character came up with, then I assume the author is either deliberately or subconsciously villainizing a specific group of people for no reason, and I don’t vibe with that. At that time I no longer care about what the author/narrative actually has to say and my reaction becomes “the narrator is actually a biased witness and anything they say about this person’s actions should be taken as exaggeration”. Oh, so Jason is an indiscriminate killer who thinks every petty criminal deserves to die? Wrong. They’re exaggerating and taking the facts out of context. So he killed a hundred people in prison with barely any provocation? It probably wasn’t that many and the ones he did were trying to kill him to begin with, with no intervention from the guards, so it was self defense. He attempted to kill a child? Wrong, that was a two-sided fight between two teenagers, he just won so the other one’s bitter. Like, I don’t care how much made up context I need to stuff in there to make it make sense, I will do it because the narrative decided to frame the homeless kid from a poor neighborhood as the villain against the nice and kindhearted humanitarian billionaire so its logic is fucked from the get-go

Feral Bruce Wayne clone meets scared ghost child locked under max security.

You see, this clone is technically about a probable three months old, but is physically an 18-year-old. Why was he made? His creators wished to test and perfect their cloning technology before moving onto their prime subject, as for how they acquired the DNA of a Bruce Wayne he'd never know.

For some odd, odd reason, he had a plethora of fighting skills under his belt ingrained in his muscles, only really held back by his mind that didn't know how to use said skills to their highest degree. But it was apparently enough to break free, steal their most prized 'material' from under their nose, and escape.

They should've just got good tbh.

So now he had a kid (who was actually older than him) under his belt that he decides to take care of. Said kid was pretty good at making things, didn't want to go outside, or interact with other people if he could help it when they decided to occupy a warehouse they managed to buy for cheap (Cough, cough, Reuben may or may not have threatened them, slightly.) and it was up to Reuben to acquire both money and items to renovate the warehouse.

Fun.

Easy way to get money? Rob people. Easy way to get money without making his... friend? Judge him is to rob people who tried to rob him first.

Isn't much, but it is easy money.

That, and a lot of odd jobs here and there, usually goes out wearing a mask to hide his face. Really only to hide from his creators if they ever decided to go looking for him and, let's face it, he literally stole their most prized subject without their knowledge, of course they're looking for him.

Unfortunately for him, while his fighting skills are top-notch, his judgement getting better from the number of fights he partakes in. His emotional understanding and social skills are basically almost null and void, so most of his interactions with everyone- especially Danny, is pretty awkward when he isn't threatening people.

And he would never threaten Danny.

Anywho, he's been racking in a steady flow of cash, then got himself involved in an underground fighting ring and, well, it just expanded from there, with his being regarded as a 'Dark Horse' (whatever that is) and then quickly overthrowing the champion and becoming a good undefeated so far.

At least he now has money to buy furniture, food, clothes, and parts for whenever Danny got a bit too twitchy so he can build whatever his heart desires. Best thing about the underground fighting ring? They don't give a shit about what kind of weapon he brings, or if he has armor.

And lucky for him, he has himself a little genius who would very willingly make him such things while also being his test subject for them.

DP x DC prompt #157

Diana is telling the rest of the Justice League a story about the gods only for Danny to interject, not realizing they assume he's a few thousand years old.

"Heh, I remember that party. It was killer!"

Back at the Girl's Night Subplot

Tim: Ok Oracle just called and said that we need Bruce Wayne to have some plausible deniablilty about some currently illegal activities and Batman needs to either be chill about two new metas or be kept far away from whatever the girls are doing.

Jason: So he needs to be kept-

Tim:-away from the case. At least for now. If O's plan is what I think it is, it'll be beneficial to have Batman involved in the final stages.

Jason: How are we going to keep the old man from trying to figure out what his favorites are up to?

Tim: How do you feel about being a hostage?

Jason: How do you feel having both eyebrows?

Tim: It was just a question. Calm down, asshole.

Jason: Yeah, yeah. What about you, me, and the baby bat started just hanging out? That'll grab his attention

Tim: Elegant in its simplicity, but it might be too obvious a plot. Barbara said she knows I won't fail her, so it's got to be good. What if we both decided to be villains and started a terf war?

Jason: It has promise, but risks too much collateral damage this early on.

Tim: Right. We don't know how long we'll need to keep B distracted

Jason: Let's put that before calling Talia, but after a pregnancy scare

Tim:.....I need to call someone

Jason: Timmy, if you got someone pregnant, I will end you!

Tim: Shut up! I'm on the phone. Conner, do you remember Plan "abo"?

Conner: Is it time? Please say it's time. Because I'm at a very petty time in my life and I will ruin all of Krypton's reputation, just say the word.

Tim: Some details need to be ironed out, but yes, it's time.

ok i need yalls opinion here..

do you guys have like. a batfam oc??sona?? idk what to call it but like. an oc thats like part of the batfam. cause i do..😔

i love the batfam too much so i just got a silly little idea in my brain going "wow i like this family what if i just.." and then an oc idea just appeared someone please tell me im not alone on this or im gonna explode🔥

For a request: If you'd be up for it, I would love to see your take on Danny having a space core?

I will give it a shot

For A Request: If You'd Be Up For It, I Would Love To See Your Take On Danny Having A Space Core?

I hope this lives up to your expectations if not u can always alter it to fit your style

Designing things especially clothes or outfits are difficult for me but I'm happy with how it turned out 💖
