Liam's Balanced Day Liam kicked off his morning raking leaves, battling crisp piles and an aching back. It wasn’t glamorous, but the yard looked great! Next, he powered through a boxing workout, landing punches and building "Knockout Confidence." By the afternoon, it was all about balance. He stretched out in a lawn chair, soaking up the sun, and letting the day’s effort melt into a calm glow. Hard work, fitness, and relaxation—Liam nailed it. Anything but fishing again, please! Liam was eager to try fishing, imagining the thrill of reeling in his first catch. His excitement grew into confidence as he cast his line, each attempt feeling smoother than the last. But as time dragged on with no bites, that confidence quickly turned to frustration. By the end of the day, his patience had worn thin, and he stormed off muttering, “Stupid fish,” vowing never to fish again. The Sims 1 (Re-Release) Advertisement Poster - All the content used is now downloadable on my PATREON - These aren’t official EA ads, but something I put together using official Sims 1 renders from EA. The layout was designed entirely by me, and I even created the 'Windows 10/11 Re-Release' sticker from scratch to give it a polished and authentic feel. This project has been a real labor of love to honor The Sims 1's re-release and its incredible 25th anniversary. I wanted to capture the nostalgia and charm of the original game while giving it a modern design twist. - Happy Simming, everyone!

🎉 Happy 20th Birthday to The Sims 2! 🎉 (Poster obviously made by yours truly) Even though I only started playing The Sims 2 in July 2023, it quickly became one of my favorite games. I loved it so much that by the start of 2024, I tracked down and bought all the original copies of the expansions. Now, they sit proudly on my shelf, and even though I’m new to the game, there's this weird sense of nostalgia I feel every time I play. Maybe it’s the sound of the CD spinning in the drive or the unmistakable 2000s aesthetic of the furniture—it just hits differently. As far as gameplay mechanics go, The Sims 2 really stands out.

It blows my mind how The Sims 2 feels more realistic and polished in some ways than The Sims 4. The attention to detail, the depth in gameplay—it’s like they perfected the formula and then drifted away from it in later games. It’s a shame they moved away from that level of realism. The fact that The Sims 2 was the last game without all those microtransactions and endless DLCs is part of why it remains the best for so many fans. Each expansion was packed with meaningful content, not just small add-ons.

I really hope the magic of The Sims 2 influences the direction of future Sims games because it captured something special that newer versions haven’t quite matched.
