I think one of the reasons I haven't posted here in so long is because if I draw now, I want it to be associated with my real self, not my online anonymous persona.

It had me start thinking why I was still anonymous here. Maybe I'm scared for people to know this part of me? That I'm on tumblr and like the characters and games and stories I do? It doesn't seem fair to any of you to be ashamed of my interests. Plus they make me happy.

I think I want to rebrand. "Redtrobug" is also such a cool name, but, I think I like it more now because it's nostalgic. "Red" comes from my favorite color and an old nickname I had while being unsure what name I actually wanted to go by, "tro" is a play on "retro" and "bug" comes from my first ever nickname given to me by best friend in elementary school. When I was a kid, my nickname was Ladybug, and it's my name now, so it's not like I'll be losing it, but it's hard to part with "redtrobug"

I think it'll be better for me though - to stop splitting my life. I want to be able to post my music and my art here. I've just never posted my face and it terrifies me.

I guess, before I make any big decisions, I wanted to know if you guys had any thoughts?

Ok so what if Moon was in charge of playing tooth fairy at the daycare? He'd dole out tokens for teeth so the kids could responsibly spend it at the Pizzaplex.

Of course, these teeth were precious pieces of the children in his care, so he never threw them away.

Sun may pull a few teeth, but he's not In Charge of said teeth and finds the collection less than sanitary.

Yeah quiet quitting is great and all but have you tried chaotic working?

Like. I remember back in my grocery store cashier days I did so much crazy shit.

When WIC (Women, infants, and children voucher program to help low income mothers/families with children) people were in my line I would pretty much know who they were. Before the cards they had to tell us upfront they were WIC and show us their vouchers for what they were allowed to get (it was awful some times. Like. 2 gallons of milk. $4 worth of vegetables etc etc). They’d always have items hanging back, waiting to see what the total was and if they would have to take it off the belt.

I began to place the fruits/vegetables a certain way on the register scale so that like 1/2lbs of grapes read as like .28lbs or something. Then act shocked when I said that they still had X amount of lbs left. They got all their fruit and vegetables.

I think it started to kinda? Catch on to the women? Because I would have the same moms in my line month after month. And even after they switched to the cards (they worked like food stamp cards?) I’d still do the same thing. They were able to get more produce for whatever shitty max amount Indiana gave them.

Anyways. Be chaotic. It’s more fun that way.

I think people need to be more comfortable with illegalism and I’m not kidding. Of course the more legal something is, the safer and easier it is to do, but the more people who disregard the law, the harder it is to enforce. There are plenty of laws on the books that people just ignore and are never or rarely policed.

Becoming more comfortable with little illegal activities makes you more comfortable with bigger more important illegal activities. Additionally, it is crucial to build a wall of silence. Nobody talks everybody walks.

People who give out food without a permit, hold a march without a permit, grow a garden without a permit, are more likely to be people you could turn to to work with on preventing an eviction, or keeping people out of cop hands, or helping your friend Jane get crucial healthcare when it’s not legal in your state.

Communities comfortable with these acts won’t call the cops, and then nobody knows that it’s happening.

People have got to shift from both the idea that lawful = good/ illegal = bad, and that the illegality of something means that’s the end of it, and the only fight left is to make it legal again.
