I LOVE THIS STORY OMMMGGG
Waking up in a hospital bed was not something you thought you would do in a very long time. The hospital smell, the fabric that makes up the gowns, the obnoxious sounds from the many machines that crowd the room, it was all something that you’d wanted to avoid for a long time. And yet, here you were. Your eyes droopy and hair messy, laying in a hospital bed.
“For someone who just came back from surgery, you look great.”
Rolling your eyes, you flipped the channel again. Hitoshi and Izuku had been waiting for you to get back, every time you opened your eyes they were there. You couldn’t decide if it was annoying or comforting.
“Yeah whatever, get me a pudding dickwad.”
Izuku laughed as Hitoshi stuck his tongue out at you, but left the room to get what you asked for anyways. You laid your head back, sighing deeply. The last 24 hours had been the most eventful 24 hours in a long time, and you never really had the time to sit down and process. In a way, you’re more warn out by the festival and that argument with Katsuki than the surgery that had to clean up the mess that was the inside of your body.
When you first woke up, you weren’t entirely conscious, still going in and out of consciousness. All you could see and hear was Hitoshi and Izuku talking to the doctors, hearing words such as “alcohol” and “blood.” At one point your friends saw that you were trying to wake up and they rushed to your side, feeling a hand push back your hair while another held your right hand. You really wish you could hear what they were saying, but everything was so muffled and bright. It was like being underwater with a spotlight being shined on you.
The second time you woke, and stayed awake, was after the surgery. You were tired, and grumpy, refusing to use full sentences with Izuku and Hitoshi once you were fully aware of the situation. However, these are the people that know you best, and it didn’t take them very long to break you.
When they did, you had successfully broke down sobbing, both of them practically jumping onto the bed to hold you. It had been so long since you’ve cried like that, but after the previous day of pain and stress there was no better way to let it go. You told them everything, from the pains you were getting all the way to your fight with Katsuki. They both nodded along, claiming that Katsuki had told them about the fight that night after you had been taken away in the ambulance. It had taken you a while to recover, and your heavy sobbing did worry the nurses, but you settled down eventually. After that, you noticed that your friends had sent you plenty of “get well” presents, and Shoto was on FaceTime for way too long.
Opening your eyes, you sat back up before turning to look at Izuku in the chair next to you. You couldn’t believe that the both of them stayed the night with you, just like last year. It felt all to eerily similar to last year, just, without the passing out after an argument part.
“What is it n/n? Are you still hurting? Tell me where.”
Izuku was by your side in an instant, pushing on your ribcage and watching your face for discomfort. However, your facial expression was simply a straight face and you gently pulled his hands away. He noticed the mood quickly and sat in front of you, giving you those famous doe eyes of his.
“I was such a bitch to him, Zu.”
You sat criss cross, refusing to make eye contact with the man who sat in front of you. You knew if you looked at him you would start crying again, and the swelling around your eyes just went down.
Taking another breath, you spoke again.
“I drunkenly made out with a stranger at a party, and ended up creating this whole…relationship with him! We called almost every night, texted each other everything, went out into the town together…and the whole time…I was lying to myself.”
“Lying to yourself about what, y/n?”
There was a pause after Izuku closed his mouth, and you were still looking away from him. The two of you sat there, the noises from machines around you and the TV being the only sound filling the room. You could feel Izuku’s stare, he’s always been known to have a weirdly intimate stare, his eyes being able to speak for him.
You opened your mouth to talk again, before finding you didn’t know what else to say. Izuku noticed and cupped your hands in his, and gently spoke up.
“Y/n, you knew you had feelings for him since your first day on the job,” he chuckled, making you look up at him with glaring eyes. His face softened, but the smile was still there.
Before he could speak again, Hitoshi returned with the pudding with a raised eyebrow.
“Are we having another break down?”
Izuku thinned his lips as you flipped off your best friend, but he ignored both of you and sat down next to you on the bed. He handed you the pudding and threw an arm around you, Izuku’s hands still holding your free hand.
“No, just talking,” Izuku glared at Hitoshi who threw his free hand up in defense. He looked back at you and let your hand go so you could eat your pudding, then continued to talk.
“You haven’t been lying to yourself, you’re not that type of person. You and I both know you were a hundred percent aware of your feelings, and I’m sure that’s all you could think about it. You just decided not to act on them because you were scared to mess up all the hard work you put into recovering from a pretty traumatizing event.”
As you ate your pudding you melted into the bed some more, not liking the feeling of both of your best friends staring at you. Not to mention talking about your love life made you want to pass out again so you didn’t have to be conscious for this. Maybe if you just closed your eyes…
“Do I think you lead him on? I hate to say it, but yes.”
Surprised with his words, you glanced up at him. He was looking at you, a serious expression on his face.
“There were so many different ways you could have dealt with the situation, but just because you did that doesn’t mean you’re a ‘bitch’ or deserved to be yelled at like that.”
You looked away again, but found yourself thinking over these past months. He wasn’t wrong. You liked Katsuki in not-so platonic way, put so much energy and effort into him but still called him a friend. It wasn’t right, and just like Katsuki said, you are a coward. You knew about your feelings towards the blond but you were just too scared to act on them, you were terrified something bad would happen if you did.
Surprisingly, Hitoshi was the one who spoke up again. which was probably the works of Izuku’s weird eye contact language
“You were scared, and you’re still scared. Shitty things happened to you, not just the car accident but all of your fucked up relationships too. No one is blaming you for not dating this guy, no matter how much you drooled over him.”
You smacked his chest, but Hitoshi just chuckled and continued.
“You don’t even have to date him now if you’re not ready, that’s okay. But you do have to apologize to him and explain the situation. Just talk to him, I’m more than certain he wants to talk things out too.”
More silence, but at least this one was a comfortable one since your friends were done speaking. Now, you just had to sit and think about all of this, process it.
You worked so hard to build your life back up. Your confidence, strength, mental and physical health. The idea of being in a serious relationship scared the shit out of you, not wanting to have another person worried about you. You wanted that independence, wanted to prove to yourself that you could take care of yourself, that you didn’t need someone breathing down your neck. You wanted to be strong, worthy of Katsuki’s love and care.
But, now that you think about that, it’s so stupid.
You were so worried about being a burden to all of your loved ones, that you didn’t even notice that you were drowning in yourself. Your friends, Katsuki, they wanted to be there for you. You aren’t needy, and just because they help you doesn’t mean you’re not independent or strong. They love you just as much you love them, and you should embrace them.
You love your friends.
You love Katsuki.
Your eyes widen when you take the last bite of your pudding.
You’re in love with Bakugou Katsuki.
“Oh my god,” you groan, running a hand down your face.
Izuku and Hitoshi pipe up at your response, Hitoshi raising an amused eyebrow while Izuku’s eyebrows furrow in concern.
“I’m in love with fucking Bakugou Katsuki.”
When you look back at your friends, there are two very different people looking at you. Izuku, is looking knowingly at you, with a gentle smile. Hitoshi however, your best friend, is looking at you trying not to laugh.
Groaning again, you lay back in your bed, eyes looking up at the ceiling. You feel Hitoshi leave your side and walk over to the other side of you while Izuku moves further up to replace Hitoshi’s spot.
“Okay, I have to say it,” Hitoshi sits down on the chair next to your bed as you and Izuku look at Hitoshi’s questioningly.
“Out of all the guys, him? Really? I mean I know he’s a model but there’s no way-“
Instead of letting your so-called-friend continue, you shut him up quickly with a pillow to the face. Izuku immediately burst out in laughter at the action, and you couldn’t help but giggle yourself after seeing Hitoshi’s reaction.
All this is shit you’ve gone through is scary, and in a way the future is even more terrifying. But right now, even after having surgery, you’ve never felt more secure. You have the worlds best friends, and you’re in love with Bakugou Katsuki. Now when you’re scared, you don’t have to feel weak for asking for help, you’re going to let the people who care about you, love you.
soon you’ll get better

Sypnosis:
With Aether and Paimon visiting your cafe everyday, a couple of his friends had started getting suspicious towards the male like— what if he was getting himself in trouble again? Which is why, the archons decided to hear their people's plea by going with the traveler on their new favorite cafe.
Genshin characters x fem!reader
Part: one, two, three, four, five.
When the people started to notice something different with their hero, a day hasn't passed yet when Aether went back to Sumeru to deliver the letter to Buer, the current dendro archon.
"You seem to be in a good mood today, traveler." Nahida, the archon, pointed out as she gave the blonde male a small smile.
"Oh! Oh! That's because we met this beautiful lady by the Qingxu pool and her dish is sooooo delicious!" Paimon exclaimed, she clapped her hands and kicked her feet in the air to emphasize the joy she was feeling.
Meanwhile, pink hues had spread across Aether's cheeks as he scratched the back of his head which earned a couple of suspicious glance by the people around them, it was an unnecessary reaction of his, but.. He remembered how comfortable he was within your company that he ended up wanting to hug you.
"Hm? What's this?" Nahida grinned, eyes brimming with delight and playfulness. Her question made the floating companion stop with her daydream and glance towards the traveler.
"I-It's nothing.. Just remembered something embarrassing." He managed to cover up his stutter by coming up with an excuse, he let out a sigh of relief when the archon seem to let it go, for now.
"Is it really nothing though?" Paimon asked, crossing her arms in front of her and tilting her head as she stared straight into Aether's eyes.
"Anyways," Nahida spoke up and it unintentionally saved Aether from being interrogated, "Please bring this to the acting grand sage and the general mahamatra." Two letters were given to him, again, he couldn't bring himself to speak up and say no to the archon, he wanted to refuse, but he knew himself that he would only feel guilty if he indeed say no.
"Okay, we'll bring these to al-haitham and cyno!" Paimon squealed and excitedly stared at the letters on Aether's grasps.
"Cynoooo!" The high-pitched voice of Paimon had gathered the attention of the people nearby, including the mentioned person himself.
"Travelers." Cyno said to acknowledge their presence, "What brings you to the village?"
"Nahida wanted us to bring you this!" Paimon informed him, automatically, Aether brought out the letter and gave it to him, "By the way, do you know where Al-haitham might be? He's nowhere to be seen in the Akademiya, not in his house either, surprisingly."
Cyno shook his head, "Forgive me, but I would seem to be useless if you're looking for that man." He stated, eyes scanning the exterior of the letter, "Although, I did heard that he went to the port with the lioness ealier."
"Dehya? That seems an odd pair." Paimon uttered, "But I guess after saving Nahida, the two became quite close!"
Nodding, Aether and Cyno bid a farewell to each other.
"Can we use the waypoint this time? It's tiring to walk all the way from here to the port." The floating companion whined, "I want to visit the co.. Cothe.. Cote? Cotey? Whatever the name of that cafe is! I just want to taste that lady's cooking againnn."
"Unfortunately, we can't use the waypoint for now." Aether informed her with a dejected tone, he too, wanted to go back to Cotea Cafe to bask within your presence, "We just have to be quick. I'm sure that we can be lucky along the way."
"Ughh! Why is Al-haitham not in the Akademiya anyways? If he was there then our job would be done and by now, we're walking towards her cafe!" Paimon whined once more, kicking the air as she and Aether walk down the path in desert.
"It can't be helped, let us hurry and look for Al-haitha—"
"What's your business with me?" Speaking of the devil, the man himself showed up in front of them with Dehya and Candace trailing behind him.
"I thought you're only with Dehya?" Paimon asked, more like muttering to herself as she glanced between the two females, "Anyways! We've been looking everywhere for you, you're not in the Akademiya earlier and we heard from cyno that you're with Dehya in the port so we're about to go there."
"You actually saved us." Aether said before giving the letter to Al-haitham, "Nahida wanted to give this to you, but she's quite busy at the moment so we run an errand for her."
"Well, that's all! Let's go, Aether! I can't wait to see her and taste her dish again~!" Paimon sing out loud, "What should we order next? Do you want to taste another adobo? But not manok this time?"
"We could order anything, I have mora with me." Aether answered, a small smile creeping up into his face. The two seem to forgot that they are still in front of the three as they start to daydream about the food and the owner of the cafe, "I heard she can offer any kind of drink too.. Should we ask for her recommendation again?"
"There are too many dish in her menu though.." The floating companion muttered.
Al-haitham raised an eyebrow, switching between Aether and Paimon as the two of them talk among themselves. Just what is this cafe are they talking about? Why does the traveler look so flustered when the fairy mentioned an unknown lady?
Dehya and Candace both look at each other, they might not be an expert, but their instinct can be wrong at a time like this.
The acting grand sage was about to ask, but the two girls behind him pulled him back— they watched with calculated gaze as the travelers walked passed them in a hurry, not even bothering to bid them a farewell.
"That was quite rude." Al-haitham said, fixing the posture of his clothes as he cast a glance towards Dehya, "Do tell, why did you two stop me from inquiring about the travelers' unusual.. Behaviors?"
Dehya walked ahead of him, "Girly instinct. I can feel that the two are bewitched by someone."
"Is that even possible?" The scribe asked, not believing a word that the lioness had just said, "The two of them did not come from teyvat after all."
"Exactly." Candace chimed in, "The two of them are not from teyvat which makes them an easy target for the enemies if they want the outlanders to be on their side." The young woman stated as she walked side by side with the lioness.
There's an unsettling feeling in their gut, from what they have witnessed— they can tell that the two are quite allured towards the unknown person.
"Whatever, let's just be quick and look for the general mahamatra since my time cannot be wasted any further, I've wasted enough time as is." Right, there are more significant matter that are needed to be done which is why he cannot stay outside the Akademiya for too long.
He shouldn't meddle with someone else's business.
"I see.. Do you think this person is capable of bewitching our beloved hero?" Nahida asked the scribe in front of her, "From what I have heard from your statement, the traveler and paimon had been allured by a witch? Is that it?"
"It's not proven yet, but that is only my theory." Al-haitham answered truthfully.
"Alright, look for the wanderer and ask him to come here." She said as she smiled at the acting grand sage, "Tell him that I have an important errand to give."
Another two days had passed and the morning was the same as usual for the workers in Wangshu Inn.
The blonde and his floating companion went out of their room early in the morning, the sun can't be seen in the horizon yet but they are in a hurry to go to the cafe under the cliff.
"Leaving so soon?" The owner, Verr, asked as soon as she spotted them descending the stairs, she looked over to the window and took a mental note that the sun hasn't graced the sky, "It's too early, why don't you two stay for a little longer for breakfast?"
"Thank you for the offer, but we need to leave right now." Aether answered politely, he knew that paimon's still drowsy from the lack of sleep but the two of them agreed that they'll have breakfast at your cafe.
"Oh, it can't be helped then—" Verr gasped in fright when a hand gripped her shoulder gently.
"Traveler." Xiao greeted Aether with a nod of his head as he pulled Verr away from the two, "Morax received a letter from the dendro archon and currently, the delivery man is waiting for you in Liyue harbor."
Nodding, aether did not say anything else and walked passed the two, he can't stop himself from feeling irritated— he just want to hurry and go to your cafe to eat breakfast! What's so wrong about that? What's with the continuous disturbances?
Quickly, the blonde sprinted towards the city of contracts, keeping in mind that the waypoint wouldn't allow him to teleport exactly on the city.
"W-wait up!" Paimon called out, she is having a hard time to catch up with her companion due to the sleepiness still in her system.
It didn't take that long for the two to arrive in the city, the sun had graced the sky and the people are slowly filling the streets— he wanted to avoid this but now he has no choice but to interact with them.
A good morning greetings came from left and right as the outlanders walk past the people of Liyue, they could only smile at them and wave before scurrying past towards the harbor.
"You're late." Wanderer scoffed as soon as he saw the slackers approach him, "Buer wouldn't like it if she found out that you two had been unpunctual."
The expression on Aether's face made the puppet flinch, what's with the irritated reaction? Is what the wanderer thought as he pulled out the letter from his pocket and handed it to the traveler.
"Another errand?" Paimon whined, her eyebrows furrowed as she glanced at the sealed enveloped on Aether's grasp, "We haven't eaten breakfast yet and you guys want us to run an errand again?"
Exactly. Aether thought, agreeing mentally towards his companion.
"I don't think that's an errand." Wanderer stated, "Buer just wanted me to deliver it to you in person to avoid possible error in her part, however, an immediate response is needed so I'll meet you back here in.." He looked up in the sky, "Around two hours."
"Whaaat?!" There goes the outbursts of an hungry fairy, "Let us have breakfast first!" Paimon demanded.
Wanderer scoffed as he crossed his arms in front of his chest, he cast an annoyed glance towards the floating creature, "There are a lot of open restaurant here, why don't you just shove anything in that big mouth of yours?"
"We don't want to eat here." Finally, Aether spoke up to counter the annoyance from the anemo wielder in front of him, "We want to eat somewhere else, the dishes and beverages there are otherworldly."
"I see." Playing favorites, eh? The wanderer smirked and turned around, "Suit yourselves, I changed my mind by the way, there's no need to meet up in here again, but make sure to wait for Buer in the entrance of chasm and don't bother asking Morax for permission since I already met up with him."
Two hours had passed, the two travelers are now in front of the entrance of the chasm. They stood side by side with the knights— waiting for the dendro archon to arrive.
"Uurgh.. I'm so hungry." Paimon whined for the nth that morning and Aether couldn't agree more. They are quite stubborn about wanting to eat at your cafe and not anywhere else, your food taste so extraordinary and amazing that they didn't want to tarnish their taste buds else where.
"Ah, Mr. Zhongli!" The knights straightened their posture and greeted the archon of their nation.
"Finally! You're here!" The fairy sighed in relief when her eyes landed on the child beside the geo archon, Nahida smiled at them and waved her hand.
"Seems like you two have been waiting for us." Zhongli stated, he nodded his head towards the knights to show them that they acknowledge their presence before turning his attention to Aether.
"Venti will be here in a moment, let us wait for him."
"Huh?! No one told us that he'll come over too!" Paimon exclaimed, her posture frigid at the sudden appearance of the three archons in one area.
"Hehe! That's because the wind told me that you guys have been going into a nice place~!" Speak of the devil, the anemo archon landed on the ground— the wind must've carried him from his nation to the chasm.
"Now, why don't we eat?" Nahida asked, smiling at aether and Paimon with a knowing look on her eyes, "I'm sure that you two have a specific place in mind.
The five of them trekked the path towards your small cafe, the archons couldn't believe the travelers that a cafe had been build on the corner of Liyue— much to their belief, it is built right under a cliff.
"Isn't that dangerous?" Nahida inquired, her beautiful and sparkling green eyes scanned the area for monster yet to her surprise, no enemies can be seen nor sense.
"Eh~ it's fine! (Name) told us that this location is the perfect spot for her humble cafe!" The fairy giggled, kicking the air, unable to contain her excitement to taste your delicious dish once again.
"You're quite energetic about eating breakfast." Zhongli pointer out, his amber eyes glancing at the floating creature with suspicion.
Maybe what the scribe had told them is true? Maybe, the outlanders had been bewitched?
"Of course!" Paimon didn't even bother denying his claim, she float ahead of the four and pushed the door open— how you may ask? The door is not heavy as it looks, it seems that the wood used for it was lighter than normal.
Ring!
Ring!
Ring!
The archons jumped at the sound of the bell, did it just came from above of the entrance? Who would put that there?
Venti looked around as soon as he stepped inside the cozy cafe, his eyes feast upon the interior of the place. There are a couple of bookshelves on each corner of the cafe with tables in the middle of the room.
Nahida suddenly felt giddy, her eyes caught a certain book that she had not seen in her entire existence— don't forget about Zhongli! His eyes wouldn't stop glancing around, he scanned the whole place to look for anything suspicious, but he could only find books.
Books, books, and books.
"I'll be there in a minute!" A woman yelled from the other room.
"Is that the owner?" Venti stole the question from the other archons mouth, he followed the blonde towards the table near the front desk and all of them took a seat on their respective chair.
"Yep!" Paimon giggled, "She's friendly and beautiful, I'm sure you will like her!"
They took a mental note that the traveler had been quiet the whole time and paimon took the courtesy to entertain them instead, it's weird.. And out of character of the blonde himself, but from the behavior alone, they know that something did happen.
The sound of a door being opened and closed had caught the attention of the archons, they straightened their posture and let the fairy talk again.
"Miss (name)!" Paimon called out, she waved her hand excitedly and couldn't stop fidgeting in her spot, "We brought some friends!" She informed the owner with a big smile on her face.
Suddenly, the archons flinched on their spot when they felt a comforting yet pressuring presence approaching their location.
Kneel.
It was an unsaid command that made their knees weak and shaking— they couldn't bring themselves to look at the approaching female, her presence is making them vulnerable to the point it left the three speechless then a hand placed a menu in front of them.
"Welcome to cotea cafe! What may I get for you, my dearest customers?" Your voice, archons, your voice made them jump and it caught the attention of the outlanders and yours.
"Are you guys alright?" You may be in a state of shock, but their complexion are pale— you've never heard of an archon getting sick so why do they look like they're in pain?
"Oh no! Nahida! You're shaking so much!" Paimon's big mouth just need to ruin it for the pitiful archon, huh?
Your eyebrows furrowed at the sight of the archons' shaking figures, the three had lower their head when you approached them and it made you feel bad. Are they scared of you? You haven't do anything wrong to be considered frightful so you can't help but wonder what's wrong?
"They seem sick.." You muttered, your eyes examining the way how the three of them avoided your gaze, "Do you want something cold? Hot? Drinks or something to eat? I can whisk something from my kitchen to make you guys feel better."
"A-anything cold is fine." Nahida stuttered, she couldn't stop herself from sweating so much due to the anxiety and pressure she's feeling from under your gaze.
"Okay.." You trailed off and looked over to the remaining two, "How about you gentlemen?"
"Something warm, if you can make me a tea then it's fine a-as well." Zhongli managed to breath out, he can feel your eyes on his face and it's making him feel warm inside— he doesn't know if its appropriate, but that's how he is feeling right now.
"Then, paimon will have adobong baboy and halo-halo! What you gave us last time left an amazing impression on paimon!" The fairy told you, her smile is wide and her eyes are sparkling with wonder.
"U-uh, I'll have this one." Aether pointed at the chicken dish on the menu, you are sure that he is having a hard time to pronounce the name again so you just let him be.
"How about you?" This time, your attention is on the anemo archon, "Would you like anything?"
"Just any juice is fi-fine, if you want, I can have the same thing as Bue— I-I mean, Nahida! Yeah, Nahida." He quickly corrected himself, he couldn't help but stumble on his own words from the pressure your presence is giving him.
You blinked, eyeing the people around the table, each one of them are wearing different kinds of expression on their faces, you couldn't tell if they are comfortable in your cafe, however, it's not bad to hope, right?
"Alright, one tinola, one adobong baboy, three halo-halo and one lavender tea, is that all?" You asked, smiling slightly as you look at them for confirmation.
"Yep! That's all!" Paimon took the courtesy to answer again when the four people didn't answer you.
"I'll be back in ten with your orders." You mused and lower your head before taking all the menus from them, you quickly walked back to the kitchen to avoid suspicion— they probably couldn't tell, but you've been feeling anxious the entire time.
"Crap, I'm wishing myself a goodluck."

Izuku Midoriya x Reader
Warnings: Angst, slight violence, blood, hospitals, (TW: PTSD), MHA WAR ARC SPOILERS
“Is it safe to wake her up…? I mean she is his sister we don’t know..” A voice muffles as you floated in darkness coolness covers you like a sheet.
“That’s not our decision if the patient is in a stable condition you can’t force her to stay comatose.” Another voice speaks up and light touches grace over parts of your body and you continue to let the darkness consume you.
“Now begin pushing .02 mg of Zolpidem.” The voice returns again and trembling hands grace over your wrist before a liquid flood your body. It trails up your wrist through your heart spreading throughout your body before reaching your brain.
TENKO
Your eyes shoot open ripping a scream from the one nurse as they jump back and the other one comes closer to you.
“Ms. Shimura…can you hear us you’re safe.” A feminine voice speaks above you shining a light in your eyes and you groan swiping your hand out and she jumps back. Forcing yourself up your body screams in pain as you look around, seeing the male nurse pressed against a corner and the other holding her hands out to you.
“Just calm down Ms. Shimura…you’re in no condition to be up and moving.”
A ringing fills your head and you slam your hand against your head to stop the ringing. Flashes past through your vision of the battle. Hands grab your wrist to stop yourself and you swing your other hand out pushing her back.
“don’t….touch me!” Your voice is raw and you stumble out of the bed hitting the floor and shaking slightly your wrist bleeding from the IV being removed. Pushing yourself to your feet you stagger hitting the wall your ears ringing the lights too bright.
Shimura~
You swing your arm out in the direction of the voice letting out a screech. Like a rabid animal, you act savagely to the area around you and the two people in the room cower back. Falling through the door in the hall you hit the wall on the other side trying to catch your footing,
SHIMURA
His voice rings in your head shadows reaching out from the corners grabbing at your clothes and ripping through and carving up your skin. Stumbling forward dodging an attack to get caught in another, pool trails behind you. The thundering booms follow behind you.
SHIMURA!
Hitting another door you fall forward hitting the floor with a smack your hands barely catching you as your body cries out in pain. Snapping your head up your gaze meets multiple people in the room, nurses and doctors stand frozen in the middle of their duties. People dressed in regular clothes, men and women, and children all look at you as you stare back at them.
“SHE’S HERE!!”
Chaos rushes as screams fill the hall people shoving and trampling one another trying to escape somewhere. Your hands slam against your ears trying to dull the ringing. Scrambling to your feet a body crashes into you and you slam into someone grabbing them to stop yourself from falling. You make eye contact with a woman and she screams shoving you away from her and you crash into a desk your back seizes. A hand grasps your throat and you let out a shriek as you’re thrown against a wall. Their fingers tighten around your neck as you claw at their face looking up and seeing him standing in front of you. His skin was covered in injuries and scuffs from the battle his white hair was a shade of grey from the rubble. Your father’s hand covers his face but behind it, his scarred face hides behind it.
Shimura~
“SHIMURA!”
You gasp for air pulling your hands back and pressing yourself further against the wall a different man stands in front of you. He stares at you in surprise his face has a few scratches on it but it is currently hardened. Kirishima….
“Get everyone out of here!” He says his voice firm but his eyes are still focused on you, you look over seeing who were still left standing behind people you knew…Iida...Uraraka…Kaminari...Mina. They all look at you surprised almost scared to be near you. Fighting within his grasp he holds onto your shirt tight.
“L-et me go!” Your voice cracks shaking within his grasp and your hands shove against him and he stumbles back and you hit the ground your head on your knees clutching your hair by the roots.
“Y/n…” Kirishima’s voice is light as he crouches down in front of you his hand reaching out but you flinch back your fingers digging tighter into your head flashes of the fight fill your vision the screams and the smell clear in your senses.
“Hand over One For All, Izuku Midoriya.”
“YOU WILL BE MINE….LITTLE BROTHER.”
Shigaraki slams Gran Torino into the ground a crater forming and blood flies into the air.
“SENSEIII!” A scream rips through your throat as the bullet hits Eraser’s crimpled leg just as fast as it hits him his leg is a stump of the limb on the floor.
Looking at yourself you look in horror as your arm barely hangs onto your shoulder and the gash running across your chest is similar to Shigaraki.
“A connection runs deeper than you think Y/n! You will feel the pain I feel!”
“KACCHAN!”
“Never let that hatred die. Tomura.”
“LET HER GO…ALL FOR ONE!!”
“Very well…I will be taking something for me though.” He says and his hand slams against your face red smoke flooding from your face into the hole in his palm.
“Y/NN!”
Your scream fills the air as you thrash in his grasp feeling every ounce of your body be stripped from you.
Rivets dig straight into your chest and stomach as you stare at him in horror.
“Y/N!” A voice has your head snapping up to look to see Kirishima looking at you, tears streaming down your face, your fingers bloody from clawing at Kirishima shakes taking over your body erratically, blood slides down your forehead mixing with your tears. Those red eyes look at the boy in fear.
“Shimura.” A new voice speaks out and you flinch shoving yourself further against the wall and seeing the new people joining you. Hawks and Best Jeanist stand further away looking at the scene before them. A sharp pain rushes through your arm looking down you see a needle being pulled from your arm. Looking up at Kirishima as he tosses the needle aside as a wave of dizziness floods you. Sluggishly shoving him aside you try moving away from him but your legs give out and you are grabbed by the boy as he catches you.
“why…why would…” Your words slur as more doctors crowd around you and you fail at getting them away from you dark spots filling your vision.
“I’m sorry…”
Then everything stops.
“Ms. Shimura…” A voice calls out and you shuffle trying to ignore the voice…the light through your closed eyes irritates you, “Ms. Shimura…” Slowly your eyes open your vision blurry before it clears and there is a woman sitting in a chair across from your bed her voice echoing in your head. You let out a groan trying to move your hand to cover your face but nothing happens, letting out a noise of confusion you look down at your hand that lies limp on the bed.
“It’s just a sedative to keep your calm Ms. Shimura…we need to make sure you’re stable mentally before we can lighten the dose.” She explains and you frown after a second of staring at her, “I know this might be a bit confusing but you were involved in an incident and you’re in the hospital. You’re safe…” A knock fills the room and the door opens a man walks in dressed in a suit his hair yellow like straw two long strands falling in front of his face.
“All Might..” She says and a slight grin forms on your face hearing that name. He was that hero..he was super strong. A silent giggle causes the two adults to look over at you as your eyes almost glazed over giggling at his presence, “The sedative usually relaxes the patient sometimes in a loopy sense but it’s good that she isn’t acting agitated.” She says and a dopey smile crosses your face as the two adults look at you almost in pity.
“Young Shimura…I’m…so sorry. I wasn’t there for you.” He steps forward kneeling down in front of you his hand heavily pushes your hair back stroking your skin and your smile at the feeling.
“why….you didn’t..do anything,” You mumble blinking slowly, “you’re number one.” He frowns looking away and a stray tear slides down his face he quickly wipes it away turning back to you.
“I’m going to be there for you…I promise you.” He says leaning down and pressing a kiss onto your forehead and a drop of water hits your face.
“izuku…i..i want izuku.” You mumble and he stiffens above you pulling away and you frown in confusion. His face held many words he wanted to say but knew they would destroy you, especially in such a fragile state you are right now.
You may have lost everything nothing hurt more than finding out from him…
Izuku Midoriya was gone.
