I am so excited for Frozen 3.
In the Art of Frozen, there are multiple illustrations of a very Slavic-inspired ice palace by Britney Lee and David Wormsley just like the one in this book that was clearly taken from Art of Frozen.
There is more from the Frozen first look special (2012) that you can watch here (X).
There is heavy, shared inspiration from Byzantine architecture like what is found at Hagia Sophia between Lee and Wormsley.
Does any of this look familiar to you?? Because it looked really familiar to all of us ...
That is the castle in the F3 concept art shared at D23.
It's pretty evident that they are planning to use story elements/themes/artwork that was held back from Frozen and Frozen II in Frozen 3 & 4. Since they're still in early storyboarding we're yet to see what else might be carried over and if it will include Snegurochka of Slavic lore or not as 1/2 the previous fifth spirit. Norse myth felt like the vibes when I first saw this concept art from D23 but now that I'm digging through the art books, I think it's going to be a blend.
Credit to @virtual-winter & @cloudberriesforaqueen for sharing their artwork scans and to everyone in the @arendelle-archives server for today's collaboration.
Update: I'm taking a hiatus from posting indefinitely.
Trump’s niece just nailed it!
I saw both movies and to be honest, I'm not picking favorites.
I don’t even defend Mufasa but my god I don’t wanna watch Sonic 3 out of spits
exactly… people acting like sonic winning over mufasa will defeat capitalism or something lol, “please don’t go watch mufasa. support sonic” bro it’s not like sonic is made by some small indie company, you’re still giving your money to billionaires 😂 it’s so childish it reminds me of when super mario movie fans were like “guys don’t go watch barbie we can’t let the girls win!” (this goes without saying you CAN simply enjoy two movies)
Does anyone ever feel like banging their head on the wall after going on the internet so much, due to the intolerable negativity that's infetcting it right now?
I agree. There's things in the movie people are missing.
