Agreed.
I like the movie just fine, and I like current Star a ton more than Starboy
And I want everyone in the real world to see it and give it the praise and commercial success it deserves, so that those far-right extremists on the Internet will pay for their toxic, oponionated, disrespectful and blind hatred and have no power over Disney, or Hollywood no matter what they say.
It was a surprisingly good movie, that never replaces the original, but offers a fresh new perspective.
Rachel Zegler was the best part of the movie.
I don't want to give too much away, but if anyone has the time, check it out, either now in the theaters or wait for Disney+. It's your choice.
My rating 4.5 out of 5.

What they REALLY are
Do NOT be like those people! Or I will block you!
I agree 100 percent.
This term doesn’t make sense to me, especially the way many media critics use it. If a writer wants to include a character of a certain ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, etc. in their story, you can’t really call it “forced”. The “forced” word makes it sound like there are SJWs going around, breaking into writers’ homes and demanding they incorporate diverse characters into their stories while holding AR-15s to their necks. I have never heard of such a thing yet.
Sure, you might have people calling for more diversity in media, but they’re not forcing any given writer to be more diverse at gunpoint. They’re just announcing what they would like to see more of.
