Soooo... Has Anyone Else Gotten This? I Already Know About The "false Ending" And All That And Wanted

Hello all, Illy here, and I’m happy to announce that I’m back home from school and got myself a new laptop that is AMAZING for art.

Also decided to try out Krita for my comic, which btw, 3 handrawn pages done!!!! Next step is to scan them in and touch them up with my new stuff.

I’m so so SO happy to be able to continue drawing that it has reignited my motivation to work. For a while I had little to no motivation to do much of anything for a couple months due to stress at school, and my previous laptop not cooperating with my tablet.

But that’s all behind me now... I’m back, I got stuff to do, Fandoms to gush over (Magia Record came out and so did the Invader Zim movie), comics to draw, and I AM HYPED!!!

The images above are some tests using Krita and my new laptop.

A quick sketch of me, an image of Mami (probably from a manga i just looked up lineart for color practice) before and after I colored it, aaaaaand a scan of some doodles of my version of the Cheshire Cat and what progress I made coloring it

So ever since I did those images for my little Pandora’s Box series, I’ve been wanting to scan in more art that I’ve done on paper, color them, and post them

However.... A few images in, my printer, thus my scanner, lost connection, so I decided to work with what I managed to get in

Needless to say, I’ve barely made an progress, and now my neck hurts from having to hold my head at an angle

So I feel I might as well show what I’m working on....

Hey guys! Just wanted to update everyone.

I still need to work on my comic (as always) and need to draw more in general. So first things first is to get used to my new art program Krita!

The best was to do that is to try out techniques for drawing and coloring. What I like to do is find colorless images of things I like and practice coloring with them. Tonight I finished our sweet baby Karkitty!
