To these questions:

1. If manga counts, then my favorite is a series called Pandora Hearts. I have a general love/obsession with Alice in Wonderland, which the series references heavily, and the characters just feel real and the story is wonderful!

2. Ohhhh, that would be interesting! On my blog there are some short stories written around the theme of a single word that I did for my school’s creative writing magazine. Sadly the one that made it in got ruined because they added a single sentence at the end that threw out what I was going for entirely. But I’d love to try doing the same thing with colors!

3. Not really, though I do try to avoid excess repetition.

4. Ooof, considering I’ve been drawing for forever, I guess that title goes to Cassidy from this weird little comic I did that kinda had a story if you squinted into the void of nonsense long enough. My art wasn’t as good back then so I redraw her from time to time just to show my progress.

5. Kira Shinigami. He was a character from one of my many scrapped stories, though I guess you could say I just incorporated his story into my new series. True to his concept, Kira is a reaper who has been adopted by Death itself (also known as Grim), and his personality on the outside is very standoffish and harsh, but he does have a soft side. Over the years, many of the details such as his biological parents, his reason for being outwardly thorny, and even his love interests (RIP Lyra the witch, I hardly designed ye) have changed and developed into the loveable little reaper we see today.

6. I like it! Makes you think about things you may have overlooked before.

7. The series itself has yet to be named, but the story arc is called The Eldrich Journal.

Researching and learning new things! Before writing, I never would’ve been tempted to learn about the insects and plantlife of Panama, or how custody battles work.

2. Your least favourite?

Grammar and making my work believable.

Separation is a big trope. It appears in pretty much all of my longer works.

An English assignment!

Yesterday my buddy noticed i was playing DST, a game I bought and gave him the free code to give to a friend a couple years back.

We proceeded to then spend 30 mins to troubleshoot our mics on discord and then relived the good old days

We didn’t quite make it through winter.... but during the process of continuously trying to gather rocks in what I like to call “GODDAMNED SPIDER COUNTRY” (which is like 3-4 or more spider nests in one area) we both ended up switching from Wendys to Webbers and then got the idea to made a world for spiders, by spiders, and only spiders

Needless to say we weren’t taking the game seriously anymore by this point and I had to revise the world from “lots of spiders” to “more spiders” due to major lag because of the sheer number of spiders

when they aren’t killing you they’re pretty cute

and when they follow you you just hear
