I’m probably slowing down a lot from now on. I’ve gotten a lot busier, but I’m committed to trying to finish the Divine Comedy. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, so even if it takes a long time, I’ll get through the 100 Days of Dante, which is helping me understand a lot about the Divine Comedy while reading it. Rest in peace to Maggie Smith, who passed away today, aged 89. A wonderful actress and woman.

Shoutout to my fellow chronically ill people on tumblr who are having a hard time. This pain doesn't have to last forever. Even if some diseases can't be cured, it doesn't mean they can't be treated and that we can't find more comfort within our lives. We are here. And we will stay here and let people know we exist. Let society know we deserve access to better healthcare, to transportation, any type of equipment that helps us to walk, eat, shower. We deserve caretaking, accessible and safe spaces where we can move freely, better work conditions with good payment, and benefits for those of us who can't work. Yes, you may be in pain. But you are still here. You've been fighting for so long and I know it is tiring, but you are so strong. We need you here. I am here, feeling pain alongside you, feeling tired of fighting, but still holding your hand and telling you to have faith because we can make this world a better place.

Tried to make a beanie and sort of became a hat lmao. Colors inspired by Kanroji Mitsuri from Demon Slayer.

Right when I finally feel like I’m feeling stable, someone else dies or gets diagnosed with something like cancer, and it’s like a punch in the face. Well,…

Hi, everyone! My chronic pain has gotten the best of me this past fall/winter, so I haven’t been reading much, but hopefully with the new year, my pain will give me a break and I’ll be able to do more of these posts! These are my notes for Plato’s The Apology, which includes me posting quotes and then writing some notes right after, which happens right after the page number. It’s some…
