okay contrary to popular belief i think axl can really be such a sweetie when he’s around someone he’s comfortable with. especially you. so when you don’t answer your phone, and he finds out your friends haven’t seen you around, he’s rushing to your house. letting himself in with the spare key. when he finds you, you’re asleep. and he can tell you’ve been crying, eyes and lips all puffy. he kneels down so his elbows are resting on the bed, arms crossed over each other so he can rest his chin on them. just watching you sleep for a bit so he can think of his next move.

he blows a little air on you, making your eyes flutter open, looking up at him he sees your eyes are red rimmed. yeah, you’ve been crying. and he’s seen this happen with you before, so he does what he knows helps you best. he gets into bed with you, coming up behind you so you can turn over and curl into him.

“what’s wrong, baby?” he asks quietly, and you start to cry again. axl lets it happen, knowing that you crying it out helps better than him trying to shush you. he whispers sweet things to you. telling you,

“you’re gonna be okay, honey.”

“i’ve gotchu. i’m right here now and we will figure it out.”

“that’s it, cry it out. i’m gonna keep holding you.” and he does, he cradles the back of your head until your cries turn to sniffles. and then to soft snores again. not saying a word, just letting you rest in his arms, feeling comfortable and safe<3
