It’s a trap, Gérard DuBois
hello to the three people who follow me! i haven't posted in about two months for various reasons. one, i started writing and at some point i got discouraged so i haven't touched that for a while. also, got mental health issues going on which kinda intertwined with the whole writing thing. also, i kinda forgot about this account lol. anyway, i hope i get to get back to writing and finally posting at least one chapter to get the ball rolling. i was so excited to start writing in this particular way and i really hope i get to feel that way again soon. and, if and when the time comes for me to release what i've written, i hope it's decently received or at least received with constructive criticism lol
currently looking at my draft with reblogs i've had in here from when i made this account around last summer all the way to december...

“I was right here. I didn’t go anywhere. I was right here. I was right here the whole time. None of you could see me. Nobody could see me.”
Victoria Pedretti as Eleanor Crain THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE (2018) dir. Mike Flanagan
writing badly and cringily is actually an essential part of the writing process, both in terms of individual projects and in gaining voice and confidence as a writer in the long term. there is no way around the cringe. there's no way around the work.
