Now For Some Quick Autistic (diagnosed) Phantasmo Headcanons! Yippeeeee!
Hewwo! Did you know that today is autism awareness day? Could we have some headcanons for a autistic darling with Phantasmo??? Pretty please?š„ŗ
Ohohoho~! Iām not only going to give you some headcanons of an autistic reader with Phantasmo: i am also going to give you some autistic Phantasmo headcanons!
Why? Because i headcanon Phantasmo as an autistic person (or ghost in his case) or at least autistic-coded:
Some (undiagnosed) autistic Phantasmo headcanons with an autistic darling:
Phantasmo may think youāre a little āexoticā at first but impressively he quickly becomes way more attached to you than he would with others that are neurotypical (i think thatās how you call people who are not in the autistic spectrumā¦? I dunno, please correct me if Iām wrong!)
He just thinks you are really something else and kind of funny in a way? Like: you amuse him with, well, being yourself! (But with more flavor and being blunt way too transparent!)
He sometimes see himself in you and he canāt quite explain whyā¦ T-oby then suggests that his dad should take a test (and be diagnosed) to see if he wasnāt also autisticā¦ needless to say: Phantasmo finds the idea way too ridiculous, i mean, he? Being AUTISTIC? Noā¦ he possibly canāt be! (Context: Phantasmo comes from a century where being autistic wasnāt seen as a good thing nor a ānormalā oneā¦ people from Phantasmoās time would ridicule openly people with any disability and even harass or do worse with themā¦ thatās why Phantasmo/Victor doesnāt want to believe a person/ghost like him would be consideredā¦ āādefectiveāā (i am using a word here of what i used to hear on my childhoodā¦ before i was even diagnosed with autismā¦ but was also considered āādefectiveāā by othersā¦ that was mid 2006 and 2010ā¦ and sometimes even still this dayā¦)) heās too perfect to be autistic! Heās way too prettier too! He canāt-
Then you heard him saying out loud all those terrible things about how he couldnāt be autisticā¦ you started getting angry but even more disappointed andā¦ heartbroken about how autistic people arenāt pretty nor smart according to his own wordsā¦ you then started running out of his house and both him and T-oby tried to reach you but you were goneā¦
The worst part is that he kind of realized how stupid those stereotypes and hurtful ideas were about people like you: you are pretty, has a lot of wit, youāreā¦ you are definitely not anything what people from his time used to say about autistic people!
He knew he had to apologize to youā¦ he then saw under his feet a card that you have made for him and a present. The card said: ādear Phantasmo, iā¦ started developing some feelings for youā¦ iā¦ i really, really, REALLY like you so muchā¦ and if you were also autistic, just know you WILL have my support and love! I wonāt stop loving you any less, if anything, I would love you even MORE because it would be another common thing we have! ;) sorry if this letter seems a little too short and straightforwardā¦ but i think thatās all i can manage to writeā¦ words cannot describe how much i adore you~! Needless to sayā¦ Phantasmo was in tearsā¦ he couldnāt believe howā¦ he was so adamant about being also autisticā¦ he felt like an idiotā¦ T-oby seeing his dad so sad, had an idea: Phantasmo would give the test results to Y/N and would apologize by also gifting them something too!
Phantasmo agreed to the idea and peaked inside the present you gave him: it was a pink shirt with the autistic creature with a print saying: āhmmā¦ i may be different: deal with it :3ā
Phantasmo let out a small chuckle and put on the shirt (after he took off his sweater and lab coatā¦ it was a bit tight against his chest but it was alrightā¦ nothing too uncomfortable)
After some hours, Phantasmo and T-oby knocked on your houseās door and you opened itā¦ only for you to angrily shut it almost on their faces, which T-oby managed to place his feet in between and let out a pained āmmh!ā
After some convincing, you let them enter your homeā¦
Phantasmo then gave you the test results of his mental state andā¦ he was indeed autistic! He also handed you a plushie of the autistic creature with a tiny bow on its āneckāā¦
All the anger that was inside of you vanished completely andā¦ you hugged him tightly before kissing him and asking if heā¦ well, wasnāt upset that he was autisticā¦
He (after some seconds recovering from your kiss, he could feel some steam coming out of his mouth and āearsā) said that at first it was hard to swallow this pillā¦ but then he was happy because he realized that the stereotypes and hurtful ideas he had about autistic people werenāt true at allā¦ you smiled with tears in your eyes and kissed him again~
T-oby watching everything unfolding smoothly and giving you two a thumbs up with a big smile on his face~
Now for some quick autistic (diagnosed) Phantasmo headcanons! Yippeeeee!
Phantasmo definitely stims when heās excited about something! (He mostly stims using his ghost tail)
He lightly chews his fingers when heās angry or nervous about something!
His tick is twirling his ghost tail between his fingers unconsciously!
Heās always torn between being a touch starved or being touch repulsed!
His hyper fixations are: horror movies and books; anything scientific related and classical music!
As you may all have noticedā¦ this was supposed to be released on the autism awareness monthā¦ (yeah, yeah, i knowā¦ iām way behind scheduleā¦ but oh wellā¦ *shrugs*)
Also, Phantasmo belongs to @fluffffpillow! (Ps: hey fluff, if you happen to see thisā¦ would my silly headcanon be considered a half truth to you? Alsoā¦ please donāt get angry at me, this is all just some random headcanons that been swirling through my mind for a while nowā¦)

You were a very adventurous person, you always were a free spirit. No one could trap you or enslave you. Yes, youāve heard about this oh so āfearedā Dr. Phantasmo and the things he did to those who dare to cross his pathā¦ but honestly you couldnāt give two shits about him: hell, you werenāt afraid of him! Youāve always laughed at the face of danger! So, what was a mad-wannabe-scientist to you? A joke, of course!
You both have met for the first time when you were invading his property and teasing him to try and catch you. At first he thought it wasnāt worth it and ignored you for a whileā¦ until youāve transformed into a panther in front of him (you know, just to show off how amazing you are) and youāve peaked his interestā¦ you better prepare yourself, because this man was now determined to catch you at any cost!
And then, this cat and mouse game went about for three months: every time he was about to catch you, you would transform into a different animal to slip away from his grasp. He was starting to give up until he had an idea:
Phantasmo: hey y/n~ i bet you canāt escape from me as a mouse~
Y/n: pfft, of course i can, watch me!
You knew this was a trap, but your pride spoke a little louder for you to remember that his chances of capturing you were higher now that you were a mou-
Oh shit! And he indeed succeeded in capturing you! Okay, no need for panic, right? Right?! Maybe you could bite his fingers or-
Phantasmo: well, well, well~ looks like this cat here finally got his catch~
Y/n: pfft, yeah? So what? You got me, what are you going to do big guy?
Phantasmo: you really shouldnāt talk like you have the upper hand here. Perhaps are you trying to cope by sounding arrogantly confident~?
Y/n: well, at least thatās something we both have in common: we both are overly confidentā¦ and now, if you excuse me, iāll escape from you again and laugh at your-!
Phantasmo: face~?
Phantasmo had you in front of his mouthā¦ waitā¦ he wasnāt seriously considering eating youā¦ wasā¦ heā¦? (Spoiler: no, no he wasnāt. He was just messing up with you, he wouldnāt eat a mouseā¦ even if he couldā¦ but you didnāt know that and you didnāt needed to know~ ;) )
You desperately tried to transform into a bigger animal butā¦ what heck?! Why werenāt you transforming?!? He licked your face teasingly and you started to grow more and more worried with your situation: you hate this option butā¦ you needed to do this or elseā¦
Y/n: please! Donāt eat me! Iām sorry, okay?! Iām sorry for calling you a snail and other upsetting things! Iām sorry for sitting on you as an elephant that one time! And iām sorry for challenging you!
Phantasmo: ah~ choosing the coward option to get out of this mess~? Pathetic~ hahahaha!
Y/n: p-pleaseā¦ what have you done to meā¦? Why canāt i-
Phantasmo: HA! Shapeshift~? Well, ādarlingā, you see: when you were bragging about how you couldnāt beat me when you were transforming into a mouse, i took this opportunity to throw into your way my newest invention: the anti-shapeshifting dust! I had plenty of time to study you and your abilities and now, you will remain as a mouse forever! Buhahahahaha!
Y/n: Huhā¦ so thatās why you were blowing something at meā¦ waitā¦ WHAT?! NO! Please! I donāt want to be one animal forever! I also like my human form!
Phantasmo: awww~ and why should I give you an antidote~? Hmm~?
Y/n: iā¦ iā¦ i couldā¦ i could be your assistantā¦! Y-yeahā¦!
Phantasmo: hmmmā¦ alright, you know what? Sure~
Y/n: phewā¦
Phantasmo: but, under one condition: youāll be my lab rat whenever i feel bored~ deal~?
You werenāt so sure if this was a good ideaā¦ but, like, did you really had another option?
And so, as promised, phantasmo would give you the antidote and bring you back to your ānormalā self. But, every time he wanted to experiment on you or simply whenever he was bored, he would order you to transform into some animal: usually a cat.
Donāt worry though: every time he wanted to experiment on you, he would bring you back to life with one of his machines, as long as he had your soul, you would always come back into a brand new body! Isnāt he nice? :3 (btw, he would create a new body identical to your first old body out of someoneās dead bodyā¦ he only makes someā¦ adjustmentsā¦ itās better if you donāt ask him how he does that)
You two werenāt that close for quite a whileā¦ but, eventually, you would eventually tolerate each otherās presence and start loving one another
Remember when he would get bored and boss you around to turn into a cat? Well, hereās the thing: he is secretly a fan of cats and loves them greatly. He would just be petting you and massaging your back or using you as a emotional support animal whenever he would feel overwhelmed and stressed by somethingš„¹
Oh and one last thing: you know that old cliche of a villain sitting on a chair and stroking a cat? That would be you and Phantasmo hahahaha! (Relationships goals everyone, Relationships goalsā¦)
You know, a friend came up to me today and asked, "Where's that dude's nose?" Yes, she meant Phantasmo. And then a funny idea came into my head. Since we remember that Phantasmo used to have a nose, but then it was removed. Why not write about how one day his nose disappeared? I think it would be very funny XD

Phantasmo: perfect idea! *takes off nose and flicks it to a random creature to eat it* now~ do i look menacing enough~?
