Hey there ππ
I hope you're doing well. Today, Iβm reaching out with a heartfelt request. My family is going through an incredibly difficult time, and I need your help to make our story heard.
π A simple reblog of my pinned post can spread awareness.
π A small $5 donation could bring hope where itβs desperately needed.

pretending i'm okay with a situation when it's actually shattering my heart is the worst
Hello dear, sorry to bother you, but you are my family's only hope πππ»
I'm Layan from Gaza, a family of four sisters and four brothers.
After the return of the war on Gaza, we lost our security and safety and are suffering greatly from the lack of food and drink due to the blockade imposed on us by the occupation.
I dreamed of leaving Gaza to ensure a bright future for them, but we can't achieve that without you ππ»π.
Please help me. You are my family's lifeline.
I am contacting you hoping you will support me by participating or donating.
Thank you for your kindness and help πππ»

I think the british medical association just won the own of the year by calling the supreme court ruling "scientifically illiterate" ππππ
It's really not surprising that @netflix is losing a LOT of money this week. Within the span of just a couple of weeks, they:
Ended one of their most beloved shows (TUA) in what was literally one of the worst conclusions ever written
Announced a homophobic version of Dorian Gray where Basil and Dorian were brothers
Canceled a critically acclaimed new show (DBDA) after one season despite its large, dedicated fanbase after failing to market that show
Implemented ads on Netflix plans that did not previously have them, essentially serving as a price increase for a lot of people
This is a genuinely insane metric to see, especially for a company as large as @netflix. Honestly, it's super embarrassing, but a natural product of their recent behaviour.

*ungays your favourite book and one of the greatest works of classic queer litterature by making two characters that have homoerotic tension so thick you could cut it with a knife SIBLINGS*
My oil painting of an Uncrustable
I adore the moment in a book when Character A changes what name they use for Character B. When they go from using a last name to a first, a pseudonym to a real name, a formal name to an informal one. I love how much it speaks to the level of intimacy one character feels towards another, how you can take note of the moment things change between them, how it almost divides the book into two parts. It's like catnip to me.
