Swiss using his face/head to express affection.
Okay, I know what I mean isn't clear here, so let me elaborate :
Him sweetly rubbing his face against Aether's shoulder in the morning as they make breakfast, just like a giant cat. Headbutting Dew excitedly - you can't tell me those two aren't headbutting maniacs - and lightly poking Mountain with his horns to gain his attention. Pressing his forehead to Cirrus' temple while dropping a kiss to her cheek. Resting his forehead against Phantom's to comfort him after he wakes up from a nightmare. Burrying his face in Cumulus' hair and wrapping his arms around her from behind. Purposefully tangling his horns with Aurora's to make her giggle. Resting his chin on top of Rain's head during movie night. Smushing his cheek against Sunshine's while trapping her in a surprise hug.

I wanted to go a bit deeper into both the fact Dew WAS a water ghoul and that Copia is part of their pack.
CW for a brief mention of blood
Dew was never really close to his first Papa, Terzo.
So-- seeing the others be heartbroken, distraught, ruined by the fact Terzo is gone was a foreign feeling for him. He couldn't help his pack-- what was left at least-- recover or relate to their pain.
He essentially decided to cast himself away from both Aether and Mountain for a while. At least until they felt ready to interact with him-- because they understood he didn't quite understand their feelings about the whole thing.
That was years ago now.
The clergy needed a new front man. A new voice. A new face.
A new Papa.
When Dew first met Copia. He saw him as this nerdy, awkward, clumsy, weirdo who tried too hard to fit in with everyone in the ministry and make Sister proud.
He didn't trust the new Papa. Thought for sure he'd sink this ship as quickly as it took off from its damaged docks.
Copia, however.. showed interest in the spicy fire ghoul.
He had heard of the painful transition the ghoul went through. How it had thrown him to the wolves. How it had made him change so fast he got whiplash.
Copia couldn't help but relate to that.
So when one night he heard quiet whimpers and growls in the practice room. He recognized them immediately as Dews.
He remembers opening the door slowly and quietly. Remembers seeing Dew on his knees, his guitar on the floor in front of him. Spots of blood smeared on the white face of it.
Dew had gotten frustrated. Felt like he couldn't do anything right. Like his ship was sinking and he'd be sent back to the pit because he couldn't control his element right still, he couldn't control himself right.
He couldn't do anything right.
Dew never noticed the satanic Pope walking over to him. Barely noticed when he had knelt down and sat by Dews side.
He did notice when Copia wrapped his arms around him. In a warm, strong embrace.
That was the first time Dew let his walls down around the man.
It would not be his last.
THE WAY I WOULD PAY SO MUCH MONEY FOR THESE OH MY GOD.

Copia & Phantom ficlet.

in which, Phantom has parental issues
Copia has noticed that Phantom hasn’t been eating dinner with the pack lately. He’s been uncharacteristically quiet and isn’t getting up to any trouble with Swiss. His sex drive is low and non existent and he prefers to keep to himself.
Eventually, Copia brings it upon himself to check on the Ghoul. He finds him sitting on his bed, knees drawn up to his chest. He is still in his uniform but his helmet and boots are cast aside.
“You’re not Papa anymore,” sniffles Phantom.
“Ah, no. But I am still here,” Copia says. He stands before the smaller Ghoul. Those words accompanied by an affectionate smile, not quite understanding the gravity of what Phantom is saying. “I am just. Frater Imperator. But also, still Copia.”
Another sniffle. Phantom looks up at Copia with misty eyes and a trembling bottom lip.
“But you’re not going to be… my Papa anymore.”
And then it clicks.
All the times Phantom has crawled into bed with Copia on nights when he couldn’t sleep— when thunderstorms shook the windows or when his pack mates had gotten into a fight. Of all the times he bounced around and showed off on stage, only to glance over at Copia to see if he was paying attention.
“Oh,” says Copia. He stops at the edge of the bed and frowns. He cups Phantom’s face between his hands. Gloved thumbs drying his eyes. “I will always be your Papa,” he clarifies. “No matter the change in status.”
They fall asleep that night in each other’s arms. Copia holds his boy to his chest and strokes his hair while the Ghoul fidgets in his sleep. Copia has given his life to the Ministry and had no time for a child.
No time for a son.
He presses a kiss to Phantom’s forehead.
“Sleep well… my precious Ghoul,” he murmurs.
