Mike: *watches as Micky misjudges the distance and air plain dives into the dirt. Lifts sunglasses off eyes* Now why would you go and do a thing like that?
Micky: If I run and jump at Mike, he’ll definitely catch me. Watch.
Micky: *charges towards Mike*
Mike: NO I’VE GOT COFFEE— !
Mike: *drops coffee and catches Micky*
DOES ANYONE WANT TO BE WRITING ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNERS?
I’m starting a novel based off the beloved idea of Icarus and Apollo becoming lovers. I have the first draft of the plot mostly worked out and I’m trying to just jump in. I’m also kicking around the idea of a companion novel about Ariadne and Theseus.
However, I have a habit of picking up a project, pouring hours into it, then bailing. So… I’m hoping to find someone who is also a writer who wants to meet on Zoom or something every week or so and talk through what we’re doing and what we want to do next in our books. I’m hoping to have a fixed day and time cause otherwise I won’t stick to it.
If anyone is interested hit me up!
Peter: The secret to life is to always use more spinach and less rice than you think you’ll need.
Micky: The second secret to life is that fresh air, warm sun, and a cup of tea will make your problems small enough to start handling.
Davy: The third secret to life is that violence sometimes really is the answer.

Watson is going to his club to see friends and Holmes is going to stay home and think about obscure types of poisons
(edited to add the time lapse video because I think it's cute, I wanted to draw Watson kissing Holmes's hand but had to find the pose from there and then figure out how the fuck to draw a chair)
Pretty boy getting a ride 🩼🚙💨
Purely self indulgent thing. I broke my leg recently and was told I should draw Steve in a cast too, not to feel so lonely and I did 🤭

I often think about Holmes learning not to cry in his youth by pouring all that pent up fury, anguish, and despair that the world was not made for boys like him into his violin.
How long did it take Watson to realize that the occasional haunting notes drifting up to his room at night between recognizable tunes were tears.
Please bring back practical effects. I miss them. Plus it makes it that much more real for the actors and the audience. I think of movies that I adore like The Labyrinth and shudder to think of the loss of that incredible artistry. Animators are wizards, yes, but let them work along side the physical artistry of practical effects.
how to make your effects extra special
He/They, I do fic and head cannon requests for Monkees, Stranger Things, Percy Jackson, Marauders/Harry Potter, Umbrella Academy, Henry Danger, Keep off My Grass, Infernal Devices, Brokeback Mountain, and I'll try my hand at almost anything. Don't be shy! I am welcoming to all beliefs, preferences, identities, content requests, etc. as long as they are not damaging or harmful to any one or group.
