I've been working on updating for Midnights✨ in between working on analysis for the new Swiftgron subreddit r/felldowntherabbithole🐇 (It's private to keep it a safe space, but hit me up if you wanna join.)

Unsurprisingly, the queer themes in Taylor's music are holding strong as ever.

Still avoiding male pronouns

Unless it's to call em out of course

Still writing about intense secrecy to avoid persecution while anxious that her relationship is ultimately doomed anyway

I prefer to think she is bisexual and at least some of the man she Pr dated were real and she just hid her relationships with women that she is a total lesbian and she had to endure all the fake male pr…I just feel better. Also I think if in the future she comes out she’s going to say she’s bi fore sure.I don’t think it would be wise for her,marketing wise, to say she is gay.

Honestly, the beardings don't bother me much ever. I don't know if it's just because I'm new or what, but they kind of just roll off my back. I guess I've just... cemented it in my head that it's just a business thing, likely, and that Taylor doesn't have to come out ever if that's what she wants (I believe she wants to come out). More bearding moments will come up, that's expected, but that doesn't mean they're suddenly the truth. I personally don't think they are. TK kissing Taylor with a camera shoved in their faces doesn't sway me, it makes me more confident that it's fake because love's not for show to Taylor. Ms. "I would die for you in secret", Ms. "They got no idea about me and you", Ms "older guys, just playthings for me to use" etc. At most, it felt it's most upsetting for me when she changed the Karma lyrics—that was a bit much. But TK yapping about how "happy" he is with her for some reason doesn't get to me. Is that weird? Should it? Joe and Taylor were "happy" too before they "broke up". I mean, Karlie's seemingly pretending to be married with kids to a guy, that's arguably worse (I believe Kar's kids are indeed real and hers, don't get started on assumptions with me, hetlors).

What gets me are hetlor and actual pieces against gaylor. The backlash to the New York Times article legitimately saddened me. To see so many people, especially queer people, ignore/forget/be unaware of the queer history of speculating on others sexuality was really rough; especially when it's still a thing! I see femme sapphics online talk about wanting to express queerness without telling people their sexuality so that other queers can spot them all the time! News flash: that requires speculation, that thing that's apparently so disgusting! And to see the conversation of it be so trivialized as "Don't out people!" or "Don't be gross!" when strangers can't out strangers through speculation and there's nothing gross about queerness. Especially with how mainstream the discourse became—it was upsetting to not be able to get away from it.

BTW, I understand it gets really annoying to see bearding. You're fully valid if it makes you upset, I'm just saying my feelings.

Red Velvet - Sexuality Analysis

For a change.. I’ll start by saying how long this took me to write. Some of the members were quiet easy, while others made a bit harder. I had the help of @punkassgroupb for this analysis! So thank you so much!! Big big help! :) Hope this turned out good and you have a good read. After all I think I’m quite confident in our conclusions.

I want to emphasize again that this is my opinion and it is okay for you to not agree with me! I’m also not forcing anything on the girls, I’m simply writing what I personally think ;)

Irene - Closeted Lesbian She helped me a lot with the analysis of specially Irene, since she is such a difficult gem… For Irene I still keep my opinion that asexual wouldn’t be too far of a strech but I think I’ll lean more into a closeted lesbian. After carefully analysing all the info she shared with me along with her opinions I think I’m confident to say that Irene has quite some internalized homophobia.. and that is probably why she would seem ‘asexual’. Plus, she is very religious right? That is probably yet another reason for her internalized homophobia.. I believe the even she still denies it to herself or at least tries to. It is probably one of those cases where she thinks if she doesn’t act on it she’ll be able to eventually marry a guy and be happy. Still she shoes almost 0 interest in guys, gets really awkward when she’s next to a male idol and it’s not the shy type of awkward, but the ‘get away’ type of awkward. She barely laughs at their jokes and most of the time keeps a straight or judging face (which might be of her personality but it seems to me more like a natural reaction). To girls though, she does show quite some attraction, hence why I don’t think she is asexual and believe she is a lesbian. She seems much more comfortable around girls, laughs along, talks more, and even is affectionate. At first I was a bit doubtful wether this analysis would get people to disagree, but I think a lot of people agree with this apparentely? So that made me a bit more confident as well.

No seriously, she literally is singing “lately she’s been dressing for revenge” like how much fucking louder does she have to be?!

Also I don’t know who said it on here but in my head she’s saying “picture me fingers deep in your ex wife” instead of “picture me thick as thieves with your ex wife” because literally there is nothing more badass revenge wise than fucking the ex wife of one of the men who controlled and manipulated her during her career.

The way she deepened her voice when she sang “your ex wife” and then goes on to have a high pitch ending when she sings “and she looks so pretty” like hello?! Her winking to the mostly female fan base after she drags her fucking hand down her body while making the hottest fucking face. Like I’m sorry but you can’t convince me that Taylor Swift is straight. This is fucking gay as hell and there is no straight explanation for it.
